Previously on Langley Circle.... Josh awoke feeling both aggrieved at his step-mum's dalliances of the previous night, and panicked that Beth had told her husband about their own escapades. Things didn't turn out as bad as he thought and he was surprised when Beth asked him to help with the web business she is planning to launch. With an intriguing group discussion planned for the afternoon, Josh slunk off to have some fun with Nicky, Bella and Sally, whilst Trudy found her own delightful but slightly frustrating diversion with Megan and Dean.

Season Two, Episode Two
The muted sounds of conversation greeted Dean as he reached the foot of the stairs. Crossing the lobby in a couple of strides, he stood in the doorway to the spacious lounge and observed the scene of friendly anticipation. The room was furnished with two leather sofas, one 3-seater currently occupied by Bella, Megan and Sally, and a 2-seater upon which Beth and Trudy were reclining, sipping wine. Next to the 2-seater was a matching armchair, draped over which Josh and Nicky were engaged in a whispered conversation as they cuddled one another.
Dean smiled at the circle of family and friends, marvelling at how relaxed they all appeared to be, despite some having only met for the first time yesterday. To be fair, the events of the last twenty-four hours could be considered the mother of all ice-breakers.
Trudy looked up at him. "Mast-- um... Dean, take my seat."
Everyone quietened down as Trudy got up and, to Dean's surprise lowered to the floor, sitting on the carpet in between the 2-seater and the armchair, her legs folded sideways under her in a relaxed and very familiar pose. Dean flicked his eyes nervously to Beth, who was staring with interest at Josh, who in turn was frowning down at his step-mum. An awkward silence descended as everyone's attention turned to Dean.
"Trudy, that's really not necessary."
"Nonsense, I'm perfectly comfortable. Now tell us what this is about; I for one am bursting with curiosity."
Dean glanced to Beth for help, but all she offered in return was a shrug. He lowered onto the sofa, acutely aware that Trudy was sitting at his feet like an obedient puppy. Settling back into the sumptuous leather, he tried to compose himself as Beth rested a hand on his thigh.
"OK, so er... yeah... thanks." With all eyes on him, his confidence in their ideas began to wane. He flicked his gaze around the room at the expectant faces.
He cleared his throat. "In a nutshell, I guess what I, that is to say we, and by 'we' I mean myself, Beth and Megan, want to talk to you about, is fantasy fulfilment." He hesitated, seeing looks of polite confusion on the faces of his attentive audience. A heat rose to his cheeks; this was already proving to be harder than he had hoped.
He took a breath and tried again. "We had this idea... for a business. Well, it would probably be a business, although it's purely conceptual at the moment, but it could be a business, about people's fantasies." He sighed, frowning at his verbal ineptitude. "Sorry, I'm not explaining this very well am I." He looked to Beth for guidance.
She smiled encouragingly. "Start simple."
"I'm confused," Bella said.
Josh smirked. "No change there then."
Bella poked her tongue out at him. "I'll remember that," she said with a scowl.
Dean lifted a hand. "OK, settle down." He was in danger of losing their attention. "Let me start with a question. HOW MANY of you kissed someone ELSE HERE at some point yesterday. You know, like a full on er, snog."
Nobody moved or SPOKE. He rolled his eyes and put his own hand up. Beth was next to raise hers, and soon other's followed suit until everyone had a hand up; Bella had both arms raised for reasons known only to her.
Dean smiled. "So this is why I think you should all be here."
"That doesn't prove much," Nicky said. "Most of us are in some kind of relationship, so chances are we all kissed our respective partners." There were nods of agreement around the circle.
Dean pursed his lips. "OK, so put your hand back up if you kissed two or more people yesterday." Everyone raised their hands. "Keep them up if it was three or more." All the arms stayed up, and grins and smirks were exchanged across the room. "Four?" He was intrigued now. Josh hesitated and then dropped his hand, looking a bit miffed at being the only one.
"Aww poor baby," Nicky said.
"Five?" Dean continued the count, bringing his hand down. Nicky also dropped hers, and for a moment Josh's expression was a picture of extreme concentration. Finally, he glanced at Beth, then back to Nicky and smiled.
"Six?" Dean's voice was heavy with incredulity. Megan lowered her hand and glanced around. Beth, Trudy, Bella and Sally still had their hands up.
"Sally? Really?" Nicky asked in surprise.
Sally blushed under the collective scrutiny of the group. "Umm... I had quite a few visitors last night."
"Good for you," Beth said with a giggle.
"Seven anyone?" There was a pause and then Sally and Trudy lowered their hands, followed a moment later by Beth.
Bella squealed and bounced on the sofa. "I win, I win!"
"No surprise really," Nicky said, prompting smirks and chuckles from the others.
"Wait, seven?" Bella stopped bouncing and counted on her fingers. "I didn't kiss Dave, but there were nine people at the barbecue, so who did I miss?" She scanned the room.
Josh rolled his eyes. "You didn't kiss yourself you berk!"
Bella frowned, then blushed. "Oh yeah." She giggled.
"Now let me ask you this," Dean said. "How many of you did something yesterday that you hadn't done before, and previously might have only ever fantasized about?" As he finished talking, he raised his hand. Slowly, all the hands went up again. "And finally, keep your hand up if you think that the environment, situation, atmosphere and the encouragement of others facilitated things." All the hands remained up. "OK thanks." Dean smiled smugly.
"The point being that we are all horny open-minded individuals?" Nicky asked.
"Well yes, there is that," Dean said, "but also, some or all of us seem to have a knack for understanding and helping others to realise their fantasies."
A few people exchanged smiles, but to Dean they still didn't seem to be making the connection.
"Oh," Trudy said, her hazel eyes lighting up. "You think there might be a market for a business that helps people realise their sexual fantasies?"
"She gets it," Beth said, smiling broadly and pointing at Trudy.
Dean clapped his hands together. "Exactly!"
Nicky frowned. "But we're all friends... and more besides. The reason we did those things was because we er... fancied the other people. I'm not doing anything like that with a bunch of strangers." There were mumbles of agreement around the circle.
"No no, it wouldn't be like that." It was Megan who spoke this time, drawing everyone's attention.
