This is the story of a rejected, just twenty-year-old boy and an overweight, in her view, nineteen-year-old girl meeting in a noisy nightclub, both feeling the world of love and happiness had no place for them. They meet in desperation, vowing not to get too emotionally involved ever again but to just have fun with sex, exploring its possibilities and deviations. The result has created a very open sexual life, which expanded to include old and new friends. They even sustain their own emotional relationship between themselves, built on consent, trust and honesty.
They centre their adult world in Dave and June's city abode as the couple create a circle of like-minded people, and establish a business around their philosophy of open sex and steady emotional relationships. They sell adult toys online and make their own brand of adult films. Life is great until an aggressive police team hounds them out of their city flat. With the help of a member called Poppy, they secured a lease on a small holding to continue their lifestyle. [Adult World 1-26]
The group moved to a farm property near the village of Burntwood, an hour away from the city. Dave, June, and their group did not go unnoticed in Burntwood. The small village, known for its conservative values, was immediately abuzz with gossip and suspicion. Many residents were wary of the newcomers, their unconventional lifestyle clashing starkly with the town's apparent traditional norms. An idealistic lifestyle went well until their aggressor in the police force in the form of a police constable caused them grief in Burntwood, burning their home down and some local young men gang raped one of their members. [Adult Farm 1-25]
This phase of their story sees the self-made family now trying to rise above their adversity to continue building their new world and perhaps bringing at least some of the community with them.

Emmy had agreed to take Dennis home to meet her parents. A year had passed since the pair had become a couple. Emmy often stayed at the farm. Emmy had agreed at last to take Dennis home to meet her parents. She felt part of the Adult Farm more every day and less like a child of her mother and father. She reasoned that when she was nineteen going on twenty, when her mother was young, at this age girls were married and having babies. Realising her newfound sense of belonging at the Adult Farm, Emmy started to view herself less as a daughter and more as an independent adult. As she approached her twentieth birthday, she began to question traditional expectations of girls her age and started envisioning a future where her identity and choices were not defined solely by marriage and motherhood. Allowing her to explore her own sexual liberation and embrace a more unconventional lifestyle. She found the atmosphere strange at home.
At Adult Farm she was sexually free and had partaken in some interesting sexual diversions, including some mild BDSM, threesomes, other girls, multiple boys including a gang bang or two. She had even indulged in sex with Denny's mother on more than one occasion. At home, she felt too shy about sex to talk about it in front of her parents. Despite her age, she still viewed herself as a child when in her parents' home. She was determined, and now was the right time to break the mould. The buzz around the farm centred around, including as many villages into the fold as possible, it would make the place look a little less strange and like a cult and more like a community. The folks at the farm had more than hinted that Emmy's parents should join them at the farm as they basically practised what the farm was within their own lives. They appear to have an open marriage, just perfect for recruits to the farm. This was defiantly in Emmy's mind when she started on this adventure, she had been encouraged by the farm meeting where they had suggested her parents would be a perfect fit.
However, breaking the mould of her parents thinking and introducing Dennis as her partner to her parents might not be as easy as Emmy anticipated. She could face resistance from her parents, who are set in their ways. They may struggle to accept her unconventional lifestyle and sexual freedom. Additionally, Emmy might have to navigate uncomfortable conversations and judgements from her family, making the process of breaking the mould both challenging and emotionally taxing. Though her mother and father had a sexually tolerant lifestyle in their own relationships between themselves, she anticipated that would not be the same for their daughter.
Emmy regarded the meeting with her father, mother and Dennis as a goodbye to adolescents and hello to adulthood. Before she actually took Dennis to her home to meet her folks, she felt the need to have a one-to-one conversation with her mother. She regarded her mum as much more worldly than her father, although she did not know why. Her mother did know how to handle her dad if he became awkward, and Emmy right now felt she needed support. Her mother and father did not function as conventional husband and wife, as both appeared to be a little sexually unfaithful. It was an open secret that her father was into his secretary Tilly West and rumours around town about her mother's exploits were legendary. Much like the farm really, although held all very secret and not spoke about.
Dad with his dark-haired middle-aged, short but very well preserved, looking fit and ready for anything. Dad had the role of religious leader in the local church, taking that responsibly seriously or so it seemed on the surface. He seemed to attend to his secretaries' needs, plus any other woman in town who needed consoling. He had a reputation among married women. It was like they needed to bed him to maintain their own social status in town, not the other way around.
Her mother was an artist, mainly into painting and drawing, but she dabbled in most art, including sculpture. Mother had a studio at the back of the house, across a small courtyard. When she had first had the studio commissioned, she had insisted an alarm be set up so that when in the studio she could tell when people leaving the house could be heard approaching the studio.
The warning made it viable for her to leave the large studio glass windows open, allowing lots of natural light through the room. The beauty of this arrangement from her perspective meant that if she happened to be indulging in sexual activity with her client, they had time to disentangle before any intruder arrived. On many occasions, the alarm at the door to the court yard saved her from an embarrassing incident.
"It's for the privacy of my clients. When I am painting nudes and semi-nudes, we are made aware when an interloper is about to arrive. The signal means my subjects can cover up prior to being intruded on." she would tell anyone who asked why the need.
"Hi mum what are you up to? I am a little early, but I brought wine." Emmy made her announcement as she entered the room.
"You caught me taking a break, a wine sounds great baby doll." Said Nancy Perelman. " I didn't hear the door baby doll." Nancy was scrambling to appear a normal mother tidying her studio, albeit in the nude.
As she sprung up from her reclining position, her legs spread out on the brown leather chaise lounge by the bay window opposite the door. She sounded a little squeaky, as if she had been in some sort of dream. Emmy thought she saw her mother covertly move something out of sight. She appeared to place an object between her resting place and the windows out of Emmy's sight. Emmy wondered if she was hiding something like a cigarette or perhaps a joint, but she discounted that with a discrete sniff of the air. What was it?
"You should lock the side gate when wearing your birthday suit." Emmy said with as much lightness in her voice as she could muster.
"Must have been the gardener." Said mother in a high pitched nervous squeak.
