Lip spent the next few days with a portion of his mind committed to the memory of Felicia's touch. All he had to do was close his eyes, and the memory of her naked body standing only feet away from him was as fresh as the night it happened. He needed to have her again. After weighing the odds, he decided to go for it.
It was two days before they were scheduled to leave, and Lip found himself in the hotel bar again after Kell called it an early night. The skies had turned an ominous shade of black and gray, and it was clear a storm was rolling in. The hotel staff were busy tying up parasols in preparation for whatever was to come. Sitting with his back leaning against the wall and sipping on a frozen drink, Lip anxiously looked across the bar. It was beginning to fill up as people began to make their way indoors to shelter from the coming storm. His anxiety evaporated the moment he saw those blue eyes lock with his. She smiled, that same smile he had seen before. The one that seemed to be reserved for him and him alone. She took a seat at the far end of the bar, and waited. Lip flagged down a bartender, the same as the first night he crossed paths with Felicia.
"Could I please buy that pretty girl a drink at the end of the bar?" he said with a smile.
She looked down the row of patrons before spotting who Lip had meant, and smiled. "But of course. Would you like me to tell her anything?"
Lip paused for a moment, thinking. "How about...that her touch is intoxicating. It's not great, but it's the best I can come up with right now."
The bartender smiled. "Her touch is intoxicating and that it's not great but the best you can do right now. Got it." She turned still smiling.
"I tip as well as I do and THIS is the thanks I get?" he asked sarcastically.
Lip watched as she made her way down the noisy bar to Felicia. She made a comment before gesturing down towards Lip. Felicia smiled and blushed. After placing her order, the bartender returned to Lip.
"She said your touch has lingered with her. And from the tone of her voice, I'd say she's experienced it first hand." Lip smiled and looked at Felicia, who was slowly sipping on her drink. "Listen, it's obviously none of my business who does what around here. But I will tell you that with rain on its way in, you'll probably find not many people go off on the trail outside the fence." She said with a shrug.
"Would you pass that information along to her?"
She smiled, "With pleasure."
Lip stood and left. He made his way through the ever busy bar and out the large double doors. He felt a few raindrops hit his skin and pattered the ground around him. As he walked up the beach, he turned to see Felicia's figure following him, wearing the same sundress she wore the first night they met.
After making it to the path and out of sight of the hotel, he stopped and waited. Felicia soon appeared on the path and, without a word, walked into his embrace and locked her lips into his. He slid his hands around behind her body and down to her ass, squeezing it and pulling her into him. She moaned softly under her breath, wrapping one leg around his waist. After a moment, he pulled away from her and took her hand to lead her away. They walked, silently but with purpose, until they found the waterfall from before.
