It is Friday afternoon on the Army Base Airfield. Sienna (19 yrs.) is a dark redhead (32-24-32) who just got off the plane. She's dressed in green fatigues and hat. Her hair is tied in a short ponytail who has a goodlooking face. The Army duffle bag is thrown over her left shoulder. She had just finished basic training and was deployed to this base.
Josiah (33 yrs.) is an Army Major who just got off a helicopter at the same Airfield. He's dressed in his fatigues with the Major insignia on the shoulder. His head is shaved bald who has dark blue eyes. He sits in the passenger seat of a jeep.
The driver stops along the right side of the soldiers who walk.
Josiah yells, "Sienna. Is that you Sienna?!"
She turns left and is surprised to see Josiah and drops her duffle bag to salute him. He climbs out of the jeep and salutes back. They approach each other with happy smiles. His right-hand reaches out to shake her hand.
She glances at his insignia, "Wow, major Josiah. Nice to see you again."
"I can't believe I see the babysitter of my kids on this base. You joined the Army," he says with a smile.
She nods her head, "Yes, major. I just finished basic training and was deployed here for my job duty."
He asks, "What job, soldier?"
She answers, "A practical nurse specialist. I skipped AIT because of the Army civilian acquired skills program."
"Well, I never would've thought it," he replies.
"I told my parents that I wanted to go into the Army. I waited a year after high school," she says.
He smiles, "Sienna. You look so Army."
They both laugh.
He then says, "Get in. We'll drive you wherever you need to go."
She grabs her bag, "I'll be at the barracks until I get my orders on when to start my job duty."
Major Josiah climbs into the passenger seat. "If you have any leave days. We can have lunch or something. My next job takes me off the base on Monday."
Sienna throws her bag into the backseat and climbs on. "Sure, major."
As she sits down while the jeep drives off. She looks at Josiah and hadn't forgotten his sexy, dark blue eyes and that slim, toned body. Her old crush comes back alive and she's excited once more.
He turns back and shows her his iPhone.
"Got your phone? Here's my number so you can text message me," he says.
She pulls out her iPhone and quickly punches in his number. "I'll let you know if I have any leave days."
He pulls back the phone and says, "I'm sorry you missed my wife and girls. They traveled up state this weekend to visit my parents. If your job is here on this base. You'll see them."
Sienna smiles, "That sounds great - sir." Her eyes look over him with excitement. He is still so masculine which she always loved about him.
Later, that Friday night at 9:30 p.m. Josiah and Sienna are talking to each other on their iPhones. They've been reminiscing for forty-five minutes about her time as his babysitter. He considers her part of his family.
"What are your Army orders again?" he asks.
She answers, "I begin work on Monday and I'll be sharing an apartment with another female nurse. On the base."
"I can't believe how we met up again. Let's have lunch over the weekend," he replies.
She is silent for a few seconds.
He asks, "Are you still there, Sienna?"
"Um, yeah. I'm here... I just," she hesitates.
"What?" he asks.
She gets serious, "Josiah. I can't meet you."
He is shocked by this, "What? Why not?"
She takes a deep breath, "Okay. I am wildly attracted to you. Like I always was. Infact, I had a deep crush on you. Now that I see you after all this time. I must admit it. I don't think I can control myself around you."
