I was working late in the lab at my computer finishing up a report one night. It was in the middle of a heat wave so the lab was very warm. Since we were in the middle of an energy crisis, the company turns off the air conditioning after 5pm. It was late enough that everyone in the department had gone for the day and the custodian had already come by to empty the trash. I was completely alone and I was uncomfortable in all my clothes.
Our white lab coats are lightweight and loose enough to allow ventilation. I grabbed one and slipped into the bathroom. I stripped down to my underwear at first, and then decided I was safe enough to go completely naked underneath. I buttoned the coat up to the two top buttons, showing a little cleavage. The cool cotton felt incredible against my skin. I went back to my desk and continued my work. I had an internet messenger on while I worked so when I got back to my desk there was an instant message from you waiting for me.
I let you know where I was and what I had just done. When I suggested you come on by to see me I was only half kidding. We joked back and forth about your special lab "skills" and what we would do to each other if you actually "stopped by."
It was close to dinnertime so I thought nothing of it when you said you had to logout. We said our good byes and you were gone. I went back to working on the computer and was engrossed in completing the task when I was startled by the phone.
It was your voice on the other end telling me you were in the parking lot ready to take me up on my "offer." I let you in and led you over to the lab. The lab sinks have small hoses attached to the taps. You noticed that right away. "I think you still look too warm and maybe need to cool off," you say as you reach for the hose and spray cold water at me.
