"I can do that later," Cameron McCoy muttered to himself. He was looking at the modular walls that divided his loft apartment between business and personal. At night he usually took it down because business hours were over and there was no need for the barrier anymore. He never had it up when he had no appointments. However, 99% of the time when he did have an appointment he put it up to keep some kind privacy despite having his business in the same area as his regular living quarters. Today was one of those days in the one percent. He only had one appointment.
What was Cameron's business? Costumes. Stage costumes mostly. He had worked for everyone from bands and musicians just trying to make it to professional cosplayers to the hugest pop stars of the day. The latter was on the docket for him on this day, one Sabrina Carpenter. He'd worked with her before in designing things for her more recent live performances. She had gotten really into the pin-up aesthetic and he had cooked up a good number of things she had gone with for two tours in a row and now she wanted something similar but a bit different for her performance during the Grammy Awards ceremony. Something that had the feel of old MGM musicals but still remained tied to the lingerie pin-up style she'd fallen in love with.
Sabrina wasn't the first pop star he'd worked with but maybe the only one who kept coming back. Cameron was always an option on the way up but once some folks hit a certain point there were off to names who actually had studios separate from their living quarters. He took no offense to it of course. Hell, he was surprised any of the female clientele came to him in the first place simply due to the face he was neither a woman nor a gay man. Understandably, a lot of women wouldn't want a guy they didn't know who might enjoy touching them a bit too much touching them for measurements. However Cameron never crossed any lines; he liked money too much. However that didn't mean he didn't enjoy those fittings a bit more than he should have, especially in the case of Sabrina. He hid it well but the petite, curvy spinner was exactly his type.
Still, Cameron was a professional and that's how it stayed. Any flirtations were done in jest from both of them and that's where it stayed. The pay was too good to risk it...despite always getting the feeling from Sabrina she'd be more than down. Though he always just played that off as just her energy, the sprite being a sexy, witty wet dream with a voice that'd melt a man save for one important part of their anatomy that would stay hard as a rock.
Cameron had both parts of the Grammy stage outfit ready for a final fitting, both on two mannequins. It was just a matter of whether or not Sabrina was going to continue her streak of punctuality. With a knock on his door, the streak continued.
He answered the door and there the Short n' Sweet singer was. Sabrina was in her typical casual gear of a t-shirt that showed off a bit of tummy and jeans that he couldn't tell if they were intentionally baggy or just normal jeans that looked baggy on a woman of her stature. Sunglasses and some white sneakers completed the casual look.
"Hey there," she said, gently pushing her shades down her nose and giving Cameron a view her baby blues. "Is the outfit ready or did you just get me down here to get out of my clothes?"
"Well either way you'll be dropping trow, so..."
"Someone's confident." Sabrina winked at him as she removed her sunglasses completely and slid them on to her shirt as she walked into Cameron's loft. She wasn't two steps in when she noticed the sudden lack of walls where they once were and a whole different side of the studio she'd never seen before, one that looked a lot less "studio" and a lot more lived in with the chairs and couch and the bed which she focused on a bit more than any other newly discovered bit of geography in this new world revealed. "Now that is new, you trying to give me a hint or just a written demand of your expectations?"
"I have no expectations except for the outfits to fit and for you to walk away a happy customer," Cameron said, coming up behind her as she looked as his living area.
"You sure about that?"
"I always take the walls down when I'm not working and put them back up when I do. Just didn't feel like it today."
"Sure, that's all." She turned around and smiled a seductive smile at him. "You mind if I have a quick look around?" asked Sabrina.
"Go ahead, I'll do a couple of last minute measurements before you do the final fitting."
When Cameron went off to do that, Sabrina went in the opposite direction to his living area. For most part it was nothing new; a couch, some chairs, a TV with various different things attached to it, books and pictures on shelves, etc; though her eyes kept going to the bed. At least they did until Sabrina found something so much more interesting.
"Now what do we have here?" she asked herself as she approached the wall. And not like the modular ones that Cameron had let down. Well, not completely. It was pretty much a little mini set, though for what turned out to be a question Sabrina just had to know.
The backdrop itself was tiled and seemed kind of neutral, something to be played with both with lights on set and perhaps during editing to set the right mood. However considering the hanging chains attached to it there were few moods that could be set.
Sabrina ran her hands over the chains. The metal was cool to the touch and though it looked dirty and filthy as she looked closer she could tell that was just cosmetic. She wouldn't be surprised if they were cleaned regularly, which also raised some questions with possibly very yummy answers.
Sabrina stepped up on the small set to get a closer look, jangling the chains further and gaining Cameron's attention drawing him to her. When he arrived she was leaning against the stage wall, one foot against it while her hand grasped handfuls of the chains wrapping them around her wrists.
"Care to explain sir?" asked Sabrina, eyebrow cocked.
"No problem," he said approaching her. "It's honestly far less salacious than you think."
"Considering my imagination you're probably right but please go on."
"Well to supplement my income I shoot sometimes for OnlyFans models."
