Genn Greymane entered his chambers -- naked as the custom of Stormwind had become. It wasn't an impressive lodging, at least when it came to the dwelling place of a king. A bedroom, a study, a balcony and a bathroom, that was just about everything inside. Outside of a Gilnean flag, barely anything marked that Genn was living here.
"You should decorate more," a female voice suddenly reached his ears. It didn't startle him. Although there were very few people that could sneak by him and all of them were deserving of respect, this one wasn't demanding of fear. The voice was like Mia's, his wife, but it's pleasing sound wasn't formed in the gentle tones of the Gilnean queen, but into a matter-of-fact and casual expression of the rogue's character.
"This isn't my home," Genn answered, strolling past the chair, on top of which the shape of the invader slowly became visible. "Just like Darnassus wasn't our home. We're here as guests, refugees, and our people will one day return to Gilneas. Once we have rebuilt, I will decorate all I want," he sat down on another chair nearby and fixated the blurry outline, "Tess."
The invisibility spell unravelled completely and left his daughter to be viewed plainly. Unlike him, she was wearing clothes, and not too few. As a matter of fact, only her head was visible and that was only because she had pulled down both hood and face covering. Her clothes were practical, especially for someone who moved about during the night. A long cowl, with aforementioned hood, wrapped around her. Tight leather covered her torso, a compromise between protection and flexibility, while her arms and legs were covered in high quality cloth. Strapped onto those covers were leather belts and holsters, holding enchanted daggers and crossbow bolts large enough to rip off the skull of an undead in one shot. The princess of Gilneas knew her prey and had specialized equipment to hunt it.
She had dark brown hair, bordering on black, and the hazel eyes of her mother. She was also every bit as beautiful. Although her features had been hardened through years of guerrilla fighting and undercover operations, it hadn't caused her to develop any level of wrinkles. Then again, if she had, the proximity to Stormwind would have fixed the most obvious flaws in a matter of days.
Her curves were also every bit as seductive as her mothers. She had sizable breasts, not quite deserving of the title 'large' but definitely close to it, and her tight armour showed clearly that this went onto an hourglass figure with wide hips. She was tanned and athletic, travelling by day and undergoing numerous difficult battles had those effects.
Genn looked at all of those features with the proudness of a father. Stormwind culture may have made him an even bigger pervert than he had been before, but he and it weren't permissible of the intense degeneracy necessary to lust after one's own daughter. At the same time, he felt no shame, not even the slightest inkling of it, sitting before her naked.
Neither did Tess, although this had little to do with her being exposed to Stormwind and more with her practical mindset. Nudity was just a state of undress. "I suppose that will happen quite soon, given how this war is developing," Tess Greymane pointed out and stretched. She was a little bit tired, it had been a long journey back to Stormwind and an even longer affair hiding within the city walls. There were things she had wanted to learn, from Vereesa and, once she had heard about her involvement, from Vanessa, before she went and talked to her father and Anduin.
"Preparations will be made to stomp out the last vestiges of resistance," Genn confirmed. "As it currently stands, I will leave once Anduin has journeyed to and back from Karazhan. I will hold down the fort for him one last time." He hesitated for a moment, wondering how he should broach the next subject. "It... is good that you returned before then I..."
"You know, I had a lot of fun in the streets the past few days," Tess interrupted and her father grew a little bit pale. "Relax, I was just watching things," she told him with a smile, "I didn't engage with anything. I was testing just exactly what kind of environment this is -- for women and otherwise. I'm pretty pleased, all things considered."
Tess was more than 'pretty pleased' but going into it with her father would have felt wrong. She kept her breathing from rising in excitement at the scenes of subjugation she had witnessed and her body from squirming with lust. She had been there when Anduin made Modera his slave. Never had she seen anything more enticing.
Genn could smell it. His worgen nose didn't betray him. He chose not to comment. It appeared that his daughter had inherited some more of her mother's traits than just her looks. If this had been old times, that could have turned out to be a problem or a blessing, depending on just how veracious she was in her appetites. However, this was the High King's era and in it, the tendencies his daughter currently displayed were perfectly suited for a woman.
"Your mother is pregnant again," Genn tried to get the conversation back on track.
"I know," Tess grinned, throwing her old man right back off his rhythm. "And I know what you've been thinking about, you want to offer my hand in marriage to Anduin, don't you?" She chuckled; she didn't need Genn to answer to know she was correct. "Look, I figured out this was likely where this was heading years ago. At first, it made purely political sense, but then you and Anduin grew closer together because of who you lost..." for a moment, her nonchalant expression dropped.
When Sylvanas had attacked Gilneas, Genn had lost his oldest child, the crown prince of Gilneas and Tess had lost her beloved brother, earning that title of heir-apparent in return. It wasn't a worthwhile trade. Tess hadn't been raised to inherit the kingdom. Although actions since then had shown that she would make a wonderful queen regardless, the hole the loss of Liam had left behind was unavoidable.
When Anduin had lost his father, it was just as unavoidable that the two men would try to find comfort in becoming the father and the son each other no longer had. A great development for the world, as Anduin had more to learn and Genn had more to be humbled for. A union of grave circumstances, but a good one regardless.
"...yeah, at that point I was pretty sure you would one day suggest to me that, perhaps, the houses of Stormwind and Gilneas should join," Tess finally finished her thoughts. Back then, she hadn't been too excited about the idea of getting wed to someone just oozing moral principles, but many things had happened. "Now that you have a potential new heir, it only makes sense to push things along."
"...You're correct about my reasoning, daughter, but not quite about how I think about how this should go," Genn retorted, now it was his turn to be mildly bemused. "Whether you marry Anduin or not is entirely your choice. Because our lifespans have been so drastically lengthened by his actions, the Greymane line is secure beyond the need of you to throw yourself at a man you do not like. Whatever happens though, you being the heir of Gilneas doesn't change."
"So, you're telling me that you're giving me the choice whether Gilneas will be reigned in personal union under Stormwind or not?" Tess raised an eyebrow as the significance of that statement dawned on her. Her father was recommending she marry a man, a man well known for his benevolence and that he subjugated the members of his harem, and essentially hand over Gilneas as her dowry. Of course, that was basically the same as Anduin had already done with Jaina and Fenella and history had shown this was for the best of everyone involved.
Genn looked after her daughter, as she suddenly stood up. "Where are you going?" he asked, quite sure he already knew the answer.
