A full week has passed since the fateful morning with Anna. She caught a cab to DFW airport and flew back to LA. I cleaned up the house before my dad got home from work that evening, and my mom was still out of town. Although I only got to know her for a couple hours, I missed her more than anything. Her smile, her sarcasm, her unrelenting sex drive. All of it.
I flipped on the lightswitch to my room. I'd been working for 12 hours at my job in a mechanic shop. I was very exhausted. As I flopped onto my bed, I took off my shoes, my shirt, and my pants. I wanted to just collapse there and then. But I managed to crawl downstairs in my boxers to the kitchen where I made myself some instant ramen for dinner. It's rather nutritious.
I didn't even make it back to my bed. Collapsing in the hallway in front of my room, I fell asleep on the floor. It itched a lot, which didn't really bother me because my blanket was so nice and soft. It was actually quite heavy. Heavier than I remembered it being. And my blanket... my blanket... why was it on the floor?
I groggily opened my eyes. I didn't recognize the room I was in. There were big windows with big drapes on them, white walls instead of my blue ones, and the blanket on top of me was pink. I rolled over to see two big, blue eyes looking at me.
"Good morning, Handsome."
I smiled a confused smile.
"Hey Anna. You look absolutely stunning this morning." I said with a smile.
"I stayed up every night this week, waiting for a shooting star so I could make a wish and bring you back to me."
"I must say that I am absolutely flattered. What was your wish?"
"I said. Ahem. I just want to wake up next to Jaden. He's treated me better than anyone in my life and I just want to feel safe in his arms again. Hug his neck, kiss him and go all the way again."
I smiled again. "Sounds like you rehearsed it quite a lot."
"I did. And now that you're here, I'm really happy again."
Man I love this woman. It drives me crazy to think that she's the one who summoned me. I'm not sure who or what keeps bringing us together like this, but they are one hell of a wingman. Her smile, her lips, her personality, her charm and sarcasm. She's cute as a button and fierce as hell. How did I get so lucky?
"Hey Anna?"
"Hmmm?" She replied with a giggle that turned into a laugh as we looked into each other's eyes.
"Do you have a shower?"
"What? A shower? That's what you want right now?"
"Well, I'm a part time mechanic, and I kinda got motor oil on me. Then I crashed before I could make it back to the shower."
