***Thank you NightoftheLepus for editing my story :D***
Her steps echoed in the littered alley as she ran from the man who was chasing her. Just moments earlier she had walked past him on the dimly lit street on her way back from work. Heading down the quiet street towards her car, a few blocks away, he had violently dragged her into the dark alley, where he had shown his sharp teeth and a wicked smile. Allison couldn't believe what she just saw.
'Vampire? No way!' She thought, struggling to get away from him, feeling panic was about to grip her tight.
"Come here puppet," the vampire named, Stavros said, smiling, hearing how her heart rate increase, smelling her fear saturating the air.
"It will not hurt." He laughed as he lowered his head to sink his teeth into her soft tantalizing skin.
Frightened, she kneed him, as her father had taught her so many years ago and began to run as fast as she could further into the alley, desperate to get away, to stay alive. Stavros hunched over, cursing over the fact that a puny human female had taken him by surprise. He had thought that she would be an easy prey. Standing up slowly he began to follow her, stalking his prey.
Allison dove behind a dumpster, after she looked for a way out, in an effort to get away, scraping her hands and forearm in the process. The pain shot through her body and she tried to hide as best as she could. Her labored breathing and whimpering, due to the pain in her hands, was the only sound in the alley.
'Oh my God I'm going to die!' The tears began to well up in her eyes as the panic came rushing along with fear.
"Here kitty," The vampire mocked her. "I can smell your distress and hear your heartbeat. I will find you and when I do we are going to have so much fun. Well at least I will."
Stavros smiled, having more fun than he'd had in many, many years. He wanted to make this last, maybe even fuck her while he fed from her. Allison began praying frantically when she realized that she couldn't get away. His footsteps came closer and closer. Right before he reached the dumpster and his prey a man's voice called out.
"Hey!"
The vampire spun around, chocked, towards the man that had spoken, angry over being interrupted.
Not far from the opening was a man holding a machete. He was 6'1" tall, with a muscular body and short brown hair. The man smiled but the smile didn't reach his green eyes. Allison tried to see the man who had drawn the attention of the vampire, leaning out from behind the dumpster.
"Stay right where you are," he said when he saw her head peaking out. He took a step closer to the vampire, getting a firmer grip on the machete. "I'll be there in a bit".
As he said that the vampire lunged himself at him, Stavros bared his teeth and tried to bite the human who was trying to interrupt his meal, just to miss his mark.
Allison gasped at the sight, but the man just kept smiling when he took a step to the side to avoid the attacker and swung the machete towards the vampires neck. In a blink of an eye the vampires head rolled away from his body, which landed on the ground. She felt her stomach wanted to empty itself, her breathing came in short bursts.
"Deep breaths, everything will be alright." Stunned, Allison looked up at the handsome stranger that had saved her.
"I'm, Dean Winchester and I will not harm you." He offered her his hand and helped her to stand. Not letting go of her he walked with her past the dead vampire.
"What was he?"she asked nervously trying hard not to look at the dead body.
"A vampire," Dean explained looking at her, confirmed what she had thought. Noticing her bright blue eyes with a rim of green around the pupil and her auburn hair that were kept in a fishbone braid that reached past her shoulders.
"Thank you for saving me, I'll be fine once I reach my car," Alison said nervously.
"Where are you parked?" He asked as they walked down the street towards a car park next to a rather rundown apartment building.
Once at the car park she headed towards a yellow car with a white top in a used condition.
"You drive a '57 Thunderbird?" he asked bewildered.
She nodded and smiled, relaxing. Men always seemed to be surprised when they found out what she drove. Looking at him, Allison saw that he was looking at her car impressed. She looked down on her clothes. Nothing special there that all. A lavender cardigan over a white blouse and with that a black pencil skirt and flats.
"Have you had it for long?" he asked genuinely interested. She looked at him, startled that he asked her about her car as he began walking around it.
"Yes, since I was 16. My last gift from my, Dad"
"I'm sorry," he said looking at her.
'Damn, she is beautiful,' he thought shaking his head, trying to shake the tingling feeling in his gut. She looked at him and was thinking the same thing shuddering.
"Thank you for saving me back there," she smiled weakly suddenly nervous.
"Just doing my job and it is always a pleasure helping a damsel in distress," he smiled.
Alison turned to unlock her car when, Dean stopped her.
"Would you like to join me for dinner?" he asked surprised that he had asked her to join him.
"Ehm, sure. Thai?"
"That would be great?" he said with a big smile and this time it reached his eyes. "My car is right over there but I can get it later."
She looked towards the direction, Dean was pointing and saw a black '67 Chevy Impala. Alison waled up to it and looked at it with awe.
"She's beautiful."
Dean smiled another genuine smile.
"Yeah, she is. I've had her since I was in my early 20's," he said as he walked back to her car waiting for her to get behind the steering wheel of the T-bird.
A moment later they entered the small Thai restaurant, a few blocks south from the car park. The smells made their stomachs growl. They were seated at a table next to the window looking out over a park. While they were reading the menus, silence settled. Alison looked around in her favorite restaurant, at the scarlet walls with gold trimmings and the golden dragons. Bamboo screens dividing the tables from each other to ensure privacy.
"Thank you for joining me," Dean's attempt to small talk didn't go unnoticed, Alison looked at him puzzled.
"Thank you for inviting me. This is on me, as a thank you for saving me."
Dean shook his head and tried to object that she wanted to pay for dinner. She picked up her menu and began reading, hoping that the waitress would show up soon and, Dean gave up shaking his head, smiling.
After a little while the young Asian waitress arrived at their table and they placed their orders. After she had left, Alison took of her cardigan and placed it over the back if her chair, her breasts straining against the soft fabric of her blouse. Dean looked at her swallowing hard at the sight.
"It's quite warm in here," she excused herself after seeing, Dean's right eyebrow lift.
He nodded and took of his own jacket. Alison looked at him in an awe, he had looked good with the jacket on, but now she could see that he indeed was muscular, with natural muscles that come from work, not from a gym. She felt how she became aroused.
The food came and they ate in silence for a while.
"How long ago was it your, Dad died?" Dean asked after a while, desperate to get rid of the silence.
"About 12 years ago. Prostate cancer." Tears tried to escape her eyes, so she blinked swiftly.
