My stories may only contain minimal amounts of sex but I hope to have something that will get your attention with an unexpected approach to the punchline. This story was submitted earlier and rejected because it was too short. Yes, I know that they would like at least 750 words, but I have seen a few with less than that.

I get a little weary of stories that seem to only repeat some words over and over just taking up space. The most intimate act of humans is or should be sex. Animals do it only because they are hard wired to do that. Humans do it to procreate too but not that only. People should be sharing a desire to please others, so I usually try to emphasize a mental desire to please my partner.

I would like the readers of this story to comment as to how you feel about the story and how to impart that feeling to others.

Most stories start by describing a person or persons by where they are from, where they are now, what they do for a living, who they consort with, what kinks they like, how big something is, you get the idea. We have known each other since the first grade. We are now 60 years old and are unmarried because of this or that. This weekend, we are sharing some time together, having lunch at a local place. It is nothing special except that it is quiet and relaxing.

By chance, in a quiet moment, when the wind stops for a moment and the birds hush you hear him ask a strange question. What is the question?
