Vic turned the page of her book and looked out the window. It has been snowing the whole day, and she could still see the snowflakes dancing in the yellow streetlights. She loved this antique aura of her street, with history engraved in the buildings and creating this special vibe of feeling yourself a part of the big picture, big history, connection of generations. She smiled to the reflection of her face in the window. "Now, this old white street is making a granny out of you", she thought and grinned. Now, in her 40s, she was right in the middle of life, almost same number of years between her youth and her old age. Is not it the best time of life? Vic definitely thought so. They say, the youth has energy and fire, while the late years of life are enlightened with wisdom. But it's only in your 40s when they meet and open you a clear picture of who you are and what life is all about. The only regret for her was that she had only herself to share these thoughts with. Her husband was a nice, kind man, but he never burdened himself with thoughts of anything more than a life routine, and her daughter was still too young to discuss all those.
Vic signed. But then again, no one promised that life would be perfect, right? She took her phone and looked at the picture of her smiling family on the screen. She should be content with what she has. And she is. But she is allowed a bit of dreaming, some part of her to be unreasonable and free, and explore everything with no looking back, with no restrains and limits. She does not have to fool herself and can openly admit that her sexuality has been left unexplored all those years, with the husband too conservative and too uncurious to look into something more than a quicky every month or two, when she was left unsatisfied and disappointed. She was too busy to think much about that while their daughter was small, and then tried to keep her mind occupied with all sorts of things not to get into that. But now, with this job in the bookstore, and the daughter almost in her teenage phase not needing her as much as she used to, Vic found herself dwelling in these thoughts again and again. She read somewhere once that for a relationship to be happy, partners must make each other laugh and cum. Well, on this scale they would score zero. At least, in regards to her.
She looked at the clock. One more hour and she will close the store and go home. At times this thought was not so exciting. The front door opened and Vic saw a tall man entering. She recognized him at once, it was Brian, their loyal customer, who checked in regularly and never left without a book. Vic always felt some warm tickling in her lower belly when he looked at her. Sometimes she fantasized about him while taking a bath. His deep brown eyes looking at her naked body, narrowing with desire... Damn, she should stop right now!
Vic smiled and greeted Brian, giving him space to wander along the bookshelves and to look for something that would catch his interest this time. She was curious what that would be since his tastes seemed to vary greatly. When he came up to the register and put the book on the counter, Vic could not but raise her eyebrow and give him a quick surprised look. "Kamasutra" was something she did not expect to see.
Brian chuckled to her surprise and shrugged.
Well, you know, one has to learn something new all the time to keep life interesting.
Vic felt her cheeks blushing while she smiled back:
In this case it's not as much about learning than about training and practice. Hope, your partner signed up for the course as well, otherwise will be tricky for you to try those.
Brian looked in her eyes leaning in a little.
Ever thought of becoming a student again, Vic?
