She Is And So Is He

Edwardo jur sat on the back of his love Johanna, he was lost in thought, Gabriel and Ion continued to clean their vehicles, the overall silence was quite deafening... Even when Ion dropped a spanner, the silence appeared to override its bangs and clangs. Finally, Mihai walked into the garage come workshop, this appearance steadily knocked the deafening silence from the work area,

"Edwardo... what are you planning, thinking about?"

He looks up spying on the two sons by their cars, he turns to the doorway and sees Mihai,

"To be truthful with you sir, I'm too concerned about my Eula at the moment, she's been a vampire all her life so that's gotta increase the harm that the silver within her beautiful body had to be far more harmful than to my body?"

"You've got to remember son, a female vampires body is so different from a male, because of the female menstrual circle of flushing out unwanted blood from their body, they're able to cope with a lot more harm than us, but let's not lose all hope until Cristina reports back... alright?"

Edwardo jur just nodes, what he'd just heard had left him full of hope, but because Edwardo jur was a new-born, his understanding had to be rather limited, almost immediately he returns to the back of Johanna lost in thought, quietly worrying about his Eula, then on top of this concern over the Andrews and Grahams, who had been terminated and those alive, what sort of state would they be in.

Strangely the overriding concern was for the safety of Jane and his Mom, this being quite different because he'd left the Grahams at his own accord... if any were still breathing Edwardo jur was quite sure that he'd never be able to enter their lives again safely because of what he represented now, but regardless he had been their middle son and his kid's sister's best friend.

Then the new family, his Eula's family, what was left of the once almighty family, educators, entrepreneurs, the largest vampire family in both America and Europe. While Edwardo jur was on the back of Johanna completely lost in his own world.

The two brothers were equally as busy working on their vehicles, both similar in some respects, more utterly different, showing their owner's particular interests, philosophies in life, and their life as a vampire, the head of their coven was Mihai, strangely although Edwardo Andrew had been friends for such a long time, politically both men were almost at odds with one another... the Andrews was concerned with the growing a stronger more prominent school within its immediate community, the other his passion was business, banking, but where the original differed from the other was the coven leaders siblings, all at a similar age, one the siblings were fully interested in following their parent, the other their offspring was more interested in following their own path initially but secondly and thirdly willing to do as told.

Mihai stood by quite quietly listening to what his two sons discussed together neither realised that he was there.

Cristina walked into the garage, she walked to her partner who enveloped her in his embrace,

"Are you alright my angel?"

After a small gentle nod, she replied,

"I am now it's done..."

Cristina looked over to Edwardo jur, as his eyes were closed, he'd missed her walking in to join the group,

"Edwardo... your Eula is going to be well, she's a strong vampire, is sleeping presently, Andreea is watching her at the moment with instructions to call me when she wakes."

While listening to the explanation Edwardo jur unconsciously began to weep, with real tears of relief and joy running across his cheeks, finally after Cristina finishes her explanation he says,

"Thank you Cristina is far from enough, I will always be totally within your command because of you the reason I now exist is still here!!!"

Cristina smiles at Edwardo whilst entangled in Mihai,

"You owe me nothing Edwardo, just ensure she is safe and happy is all I ask of you?"

Hearing his mother giving Edwardo the positive information Gabriel asks Edwardo jur,

"Are we going to see how your new family survived because of the termination 'Ed?"

Cristina didn't say anything, but Edwardo saw the fear in her face about what her middle vampire had asked, Edwardo turned to Gabriel,

"I'd like Eula to wake so I'd have the chance to learn of her feelings first 'Gab, is that okay with you?"

Edwardo's answer kind of put Gabriel in the corner, he wanted to go now, the hunters might still be there and he could continue the termination, but to do this without Edwardo, his father would never agree to it, although Gabriel didn't care what his father thought, he had to be obeyed due to his position in the Popesch coven,

"Okay... so what do you wanna do while we wait?"

Without really thinking about his physical weakness following the recent operation, Edwardo looked up towards the young Gabriel,

"How about a little hand-to-hand combat drill?"

Gabriel smiled and was about to agree to the challenge when his mother Cristina interrupted the conversation,

"Edwardo, don't forget about your op a little over twelve hours ago?"

Edwardo jur wanted something to take his mind well away from the problems replied to Cristina,

"No Cristina, thank you I've not forgotten, but a little controlled fight will do us both the world of good..."

After finishing his reply to Christin Edwardo jur took a breath, whilst finding the brothers,

"Ion, do wanna take charge of the fight?"

"Of course, I do!!!"

Ion smiled and nodded, the three then each bid their farewells to Mother and Father, Mrs and Mr Popesch and jogged into the back garden area.

Ion stood between the two younger vampires, what Gabriel didn't know, was that Edwardo before a vampire, he'd been Budgie the monster hunter...

"I don't mind what you do to one another right, but whenever I shout stop, you'd better stop or I'll join the one being the attacker of the other, alright?"

The two combatants looked towards one another and then at Ion, both nodded and smiled,

"Okay, get ready...fight!"

Before Gabriel had the chance to move, breath Edward flew into his opponent with his left knee slightly forward, the contact sent Gabriel flying backwards onto the floor.

"Jesus Edwardo... give me a chance?"

"In hand-to-hand combat, the idea is to not allow your opponent time to either breath or move"

"Yeah but..."

Edwardo chuckled at his prone friend,

"Ion had said fit, so no buts ok?"

"Yeah!!!"

Gabriel whispered causing his opponent to lean forward to hear, but before he heard right Gabriel kicked his right let high contacting Edwardo jur chest, this contact pushed Edwardo back, enabling him the time to climb up from the floor ready for the next manoeuvre... Once upright Edwardo turned to face Gabriel, the two walked to their right, then back... this time Gabriel screamed and jumped with his right fist towards Edwardo jur... intern Edwardo jur easily bend out of the way, raising his left foot and kicking Gabriel in the groin area.

Again Gabriel was on the floor bent over,

"Shit 'Ed fight fair for god's sake?"

"You fight to win stupid and if that means fighting unfair you will!!!"

Gabriel was rapidly losing his temper with Edwardo jur,

"This is supposed to be practice combat, Edwardo?"

"Even in practice, you should always fight to win regardless of how you fight!!!"

Ion who'd been watching and listening to all the commotion suddenly stepped between the other two sayings,

"That's it time you two... let's get a drink... now?"

Gabriel stood glaring at Edwardo jur,

"I haven't finished yet Ion!!!"

Ion simply stood between the two,

"I said that's enough, let's get a drink...not after you've attempted your next move... which by the way you'd still lose the fight!!!"

Gabriel looked stunned at his elder brother, usually it was him egging Gabriel on,

"Why Ion... explain?"

Ion walked up to his brother, he wrapped an arm around his shoulders,

"You're forgetting Edwardo is only acting at the most seventy-five per cent, look at his shoulder?"

Gabriel looked and could see the strapping with a slightly red stain beneath Edwardo's shirt,

"I am sorry 'Ed, I'd forgotten about your injury then... are you okay?"

Edwardo jur looked up towards Gabriel somewhat confused,

"Yes thanks, I'll be cool tar!"

The three then walked back into the house heading for the kitchen, Ion slowed allowing Gabriel to pass,

"I know if he tried anything 'Ed, you'd of won regardless, I didn't want the practice to lose contra; okay 'Ed?"

Edwardo jur just smiled,

"Let's get that drink alright?"

After Edwardo jur had got a Pepsi max, he walked over to Cristina quietly he asked,

"Is it alright if I look in on Eula?"

"Sure, come on I'll take you to her room!!!"

Cristina warmly replied leading the two from the kitchen to Eula's room. As they walked Cristina noticed the stain on Edwardo jur shoulder, so stopping she said,

"Before we go and see your Eula, let me take a look at your shoulder, we don't was any seeping out while you're with Eula?"

Edwardo jur wasn't particularly interested but not wanting to upset anyone he just turned and shrugged his shoulders,

"Come on then, but can we pop in on the way?"

"Come on Edwardo it won't take five minutes!"

Cristina chuckled after replying, she then proceeded to double check Edwardo jur bullet wound, the silver burns a vampire, but luckily for Edwardo jur because he'd been a vampire somewhat less than forty-eight hours the burnt skin was quite limited, it didn't hurt any less, just area affected was considerably reduced.

While checking and cleaning Edwardo's wound and burnt area, while checking his dressing Cristina warned him that when he saw his Eula, not to be too shocked when he initially sees her wounds,

"Why it's not too bad is it?"

"Eula has been a vampire from birth, so her burnt area is considerable!"

"Shit..."

Cried Edwardo, then taking a hold of Cristina quite tightly he continued,

"You can heel her burns can't you, use any part of my undamaged body to heel her beauty?"

"Ough!!!"

Cried Cristina pulling herself from his grasp, she then gently held onto the new vampire and added,

"Because Eula has been a vampire all of her life her anti-bodies have built and strengthened against silver..."

She pulled Edwardo's concerned face to her, she then continued,

"When you initially see it, the burning and bruising will be quite a shock, but Edwardo you must trust me, Eula is also strong and has your love and passion within her, she will recover with minimal scarring... it will take her a little longer to recover than you!!!"

"Please Edwardo, when you see her, hide any negative emotions, if she is awake she is going to need your positiveness..."

She stopped once more to encourage Eula's man to listen with his heart as well as with his ears, once she is positive she had his entire attention she continued,

"Your love will save you partner Edwardo I promise you, just don't show fear, dread, or anything which isn't positive, can you do this Edwardo?"

Edwardo now even more determined to see his love now, abruptly pulled from Cristina's tender hands,

"Where is my beautiful baby Cristina, take me to her now!!!"

Mihai woman, Eula and his surgeon takes hold of Edwardo's wrist and lead him to her room, before opening the room door she looks at the concerned vampire, she nods,

"Trust me Cristina please let me see my woman?"

Cristina turned and pushed the bedroom door open, as she pushes it open Andreea walks up to her Mother,

"She is sleeping, Mother... I have given her some blood and she has managed to keep it down..."

Cristina interrupts her daughter gently saying,

"That is good my daughter, her vampire was to see his love, I have given him my permission!"

After saying this the two caregivers quietly slip through the doorway giving Edwardo some time alone with his love.

Edwardo, although he'd asked for some time with Eula, was still a little surprised not actually expecting them to leave, but not wasting each moment Edwardo quietly creped to his love's bedside. Of course, being the first time seeing his love after the surgery he was shocked, upset and full of trepidation, remember that it had been Bill Peterson who had shot his woman filled him with anger, well until he gently to a hold of his love's hand and brushed a hair from her eyes,

"Eula I love you so so much and every day that love grows stronger... I will never let you go, my love, never I promise you this!!!"

As the words left Edwardo's mouth, very slowly she opened her beautiful eyes, slowly these moved until his image was fully shown, Eula slowly smiled, she tried to say something, Edwardo leaned forwards he gently kissed his love, with a whisper he slowly pulled away,

"Sleep now my love, I will be here when you wake I promise!"

Whilst telling Eula this Cristina quietly pushed open the door, and the two women walked back into the room.

Edwardo turned to the two women, both his eyes were full of tears, but still, he smiled and whispered,

"She opened her beautiful eyes, she looked, at me, and she truly smiled... I told her I will wait for her forever if necessary!!!"

Cristina walked up to the young vampire, she smiled taking him into her arms,

"Come now Edwardo, you must eat to recover and remain strong for Eula, if you're weak help her you won't!!!"

Edwardo wanted to stay by the bed, but he also realised he'd not eaten since Edwardo Andrews had both taken and given him his first meal,

"I'll be back my love!"

He gently spoke full of emotion, as the pair passed Andreea she smiled and gently nodded towards Edwardo, once outside the room, as the door finally closed the new, young vampire can break and fall to his knees, as Cristina bent and held his head, she could feel the young vampire who she already knew he must be strong actually weeping in her embrace,

"Come now Edwardo, you know your love is weak but will pull through... look to me Edwardo, you truly know I speak the truth?"

Gently and slowly she almost picked Edwardo from the floor,

"I am truly sorry ma'am, seeing my love lying there so weak and fragile... yes I believe what you say is the truth, but at that same moment you must know I am but a man... this is all so new to me!"

"Come, stand Edwardo, talk with Mihai and let him teach you what you need to know!"

Cristina led Edwardo to Mihai's office at the closed door she knocked,

"Enter!!!"

Hearing this Cristina led Edwardo into her love... looking up seeing his woman Mihai smiled and beckoned her to his lap where she happily gently sat,

"Mihai my love, Edwardo here, has seen his love open her eyes... he's asked us to help him, he hungers for life!"

Mihai listens closely to his wife, glancing at Edwardo from time to time, once Cristina has finished Mihai gestures for Edwardo to sit opposite him and Cristina,

"When did you last eat my son?"

Edwardo is silenced in surprise by Mihai, he finally replies,

"Yesterday sir!!!"

Mihai nodded he then looked at his wife for a moment or two before Mihai turned back to Edwardo and rather quietly asked,

"Son, this is gonna sound quite unnatural, but bear with me..."

Edwardo didn't have a clue where Mihai was going to go, but Edwardo knew he owed the entire family so much,

"Have you ever made a hit Edwardo?"

Edwardo sat there totally at a loss,

"Sorry sir... a hit, what's a hit, sir?"

Before answering Mihai closed to Cristina and whispered something directly to her, she smiled and then jumped from Mihai's lap and walked out of the office. Edwardo followed the actions, not hearing what Mihai had said to his wife, he was completely at a loss to know what was happening,

"A hit, Edwardo, is our natural necessity, it is how we live our life!!!"

"Okay, Mr Andrews was making a space at his school where I can continue my working with your cars and customising motorcycles, that's how I intend to make a living for Eula"

Just as he finishes what Edwardo thinks Mihai says is a hit, they hear a knock on the door,

"Enter!!!"

Mihai calls, and the door opens Ion walks into the room,

"You wanted me, Father?"

"Yes son I do... well actually Edwardo here needs your support, my son!"

Ion walks up to Edwardo who by now is standing by the table,

"Son I want you to take Edwardo here, to explain what a hit is and how essential it is to us... and then I'd like you to take the new vampire here out to perform his first hit!"

Ion looks towards Edwardo, then turns to Mihai,

"No problems Father... come with me, Edwardo?"

The two younger men both nodded their respects to Mihai whilst walking from the room,

"Ion, what the hell was your father on about in there?"

"Look Ed' what are you?"

Ed looked down at himself, initially he brushed his clothes off, but afterwards, he looked up to his new friend,

"I am a new vampire?"

Ion smiled at his new brother... after thinking he steadily asked,

"How do you truly feel at this precise moment, Ed'?"

Ed' thought to himself, then with a little anxiety he whispered,

"Hungry?"

Ion nods and smiles, before he could say another word, Edwardo jur said rather loudly,

"Shit!!!"

"What's your problem?"

"A hit is where I actually bite somebody... right?"

Ion gives a slight smile before answering Edwardo jur outburst,

"You have to live Edwardo, to live you must kill... humans kill livestock, vampires kill humans, plain and simple really if you think about it!!!"

"Simple Ion it's far from that, I've never killed a human for food!"

Ion looked understandingly at Edwardo jur,

"Look I understand your first couple of hits will cause you a lot of pain, but Edwardo, do you want to live?"

"What?"

Edwardo looked up to Ion,

"My Eula is going to make it, I intend to be about for her for a long time!"

Ion walked over to Edwardo jur, he kicked Edwardo's foot, then pulled the vampire onto his feet,

"Well, my bro for you to live you've gotta hit!!!"

As the two walked towards the garage, Ion was looking forward to a fun night, Edwardo jur was truthfully all over the place, 'I wish I could talk to Eula, have her with me!'

David had just hitched the set of lights his pickup had brought to the Andrews mansion, he'd had enough of this place, too many family members had died to terminate the Andrews coven, and the worse thing of all was that he'd lost his own kid bro, the two had been close growing up, maybe not as close as David had liked, but he realised it took two to tango, and Edward 'Budgie' had been too interested doing his own thing,

"David, are you alright son?"

Dad brought David back to the here and now, away from dreamland, he stood up straight after securing the trailer he then picked up his semi-automatic, and David turned to face his Dad,

"Yeah Dad, just hitched the light up, now going to take one more look in the mansion... you coming, Dad?"

Dad smiled, he waited for his eldest, well his only son to walk up to him, he then turned toward the mansion putting an arm around his son's shoulders,

"Come on son, we've gotta pick up the fallen hunters Elvia and William jur have hitched the second light, they're going to pick up any hunters around the Markey and tennis court areas!"

David nodded but continued toward the mansion shooting any animal still about the place, they were still quite nervous because from the bodies about the property it appeared that quite a few had been able to either hide or actually escape the night. Dad looked at his son,

"Was it worth it son?"

David acknowledged the question, but he refrained from answering too quickly, he wanted a good look around first.
