Chapter 4 Mating Time
Weeks passed. Each doing the same things they always did and finding themselves in the same places as the other sixty percent of the time. Lunch, dinner and hair dressing appointments were five percent of their meetings. Other times they just found each other in stores, on the street and at appointments that neither of them truly had but just couldn't stay away from.
"Thank you for coming," Josh told a customer whose hair he'd just finished coloring purple. He, personally, hated the color on the customer. But, his opinion wasn't ask for nor was it given.
"It's lovely!" She told him as she left the salon. She fluffed it with her hand as she walked away. He smiled. Already his feet were headed for the door himself. He held onto the door's handle to keep himself at work. "I can't be chasing her down every two seconds," he told himself. "The time for us will happen." His wolfish self snarled inside.
Images of her nude body laying in the grass under a big weeping willow tree kept passing before his eyes. Her breasts were so large. He felt as if they were waiting for him to come and suck them. He felt himself growing large. The want, the longing were almost more than he could control.
"I can't!" He told himself as his next customer walked into the open door way.
"Hey, Josh," the said as they walked into the door. "Were you going somewhere?"
He let go of the door and struggled to walk back to his styling chair. "No, I was just getting some fresh air." He told them knowing fully well he was lying.
"Oh, well,... I could wait..."
"No, no need to wait. It's your appointment time." He motioned to the chair and got out the apron. "Please do sit down and lets get started."
He was glad of the chair as it hid his growing problem between his legs.
"Why am I standing here on this corner waiting?" Maddy asked herself as she looked around fully knowing who she was looking for. "I'm not gonna keep doing this." She took a few steps and tried to walk away. Her feet stopped. Lately she found she had little control of her feet. They took her places she didn't wanna go.
"Hey, Maddy!" A familiar voice called out. She turned and saw Matt approaching.
She rolled her eyes. "Now what am I gonna do?" She tried again to walk and found she was successful. "I hate that guy!" She hurried to the crosswalk and stepped down on it just as the lights changed and forced her to step back up.
"You wanna have some lunch?" He called out. His hands were full of packages.
She waited for him to arrive before she answered. "No, not really. I've already got plans." She looked back at the light. "God Damn it, change!" She said to herself.
