Chapter 4 Mating Time

Weeks passed. Each doing the same things they always did and finding themselves in the same places as the other sixty percent of the time. Lunch, dinner and hair dressing appointments were five percent of their meetings. Other times they just found each other in stores, on the street and at appointments that neither of them truly had but just couldn't stay away from.

"Thank you for coming," Josh told a customer whose hair he'd just finished coloring purple. He, personally, hated the color on the customer. But, his opinion wasn't ask for nor was it given.

"It's lovely!" She told him as she left the salon. She fluffed it with her hand as she walked away. He smiled. Already his feet were headed for the door himself. He held onto the door's handle to keep himself at work. "I can't be chasing her down every two seconds," he told himself. "The time for us will happen." His wolfish self snarled inside.

Images of her nude body laying in the grass under a big weeping willow tree kept passing before his eyes. Her breasts were so large. He felt as if they were waiting for him to come and suck them. He felt himself growing large. The want, the longing were almost more than he could control.

"I can't!" He told himself as his next customer walked into the open door way.

"Hey, Josh," the said as they walked into the door. "Were you going somewhere?"

He let go of the door and struggled to walk back to his styling chair. "No, I was just getting some fresh air." He told them knowing fully well he was lying.

"Oh, well,... I could wait..."

"No, no need to wait. It's your appointment time." He motioned to the chair and got out the apron. "Please do sit down and lets get started."

He was glad of the chair as it hid his growing problem between his legs.

"Why am I standing here on this corner waiting?" Maddy asked herself as she looked around fully knowing who she was looking for. "I'm not gonna keep doing this." She took a few steps and tried to walk away. Her feet stopped. Lately she found she had little control of her feet. They took her places she didn't wanna go.

"Hey, Maddy!" A familiar voice called out. She turned and saw Matt approaching.

She rolled her eyes. "Now what am I gonna do?" She tried again to walk and found she was successful. "I hate that guy!" She hurried to the crosswalk and stepped down on it just as the lights changed and forced her to step back up.

"You wanna have some lunch?" He called out. His hands were full of packages.

She waited for him to arrive before she answered. "No, not really. I've already got plans." She looked back at the light. "God Damn it, change!" She said to herself.

"I've gotta just go back home to put these away..." he stopped talking. "Did you just say..." he paused for a moment..."No?" He seemed surprised.

The light changed just as he finished talking. "You bet I did..." she replied and stepped down onto the road and started walking fast. "Take care," she waved her hand above her shoulder, "bye."

Images of Josh staring down at her with a tree's branches above them flashed before her eyes. But he looked strange. His face was covered in so much...

"Hair?" She found herself saying out loud.

"Brown hair?" She blinked her eyes. Josh was black and his hair was black. But, that was Josh. She directed her feet away from the salon. "I gotta get back to work before I get fired. She started walking in the other direction.

Time passed again. Each day was more difficult then the next. She dreamed nightly of Josh. With each dream his body became more and more familiar to her. His hands, his long arms, the brown hair on his chest, the length and thickness of his cock. Images of Josh flashed before her face all the time.

He seemed to be suffering just as she was suffering. She knew this because every time she saw him he appeared as she. He was suffering and losing weight. It was time. She was gonna have to go talk to him.

"Tonight is the full moon," Josh said to himself as he gazed at an article he always kept handy that displayed the times when the moon would be full. "I'd better go check my cage," he said to himself. As he turned he wasn't the least surprised to find Maddy standing just inside the door.

The look on her face told him she was feeling the same as he was feeling at the same time they both said.

"We need to talk."

"But, not right now," Josh assured her. "I have some really pressing things that I have to do." He turned and started towards the stairs leading down to the basement.

"No," she replied. "Now!"

"I don't have time...now," he assured her. He kept walking. His feet wanted to turn. His mind was filled with her. It was like a hunger he could barely control.

He turned. "I...." He stopped talking.

"I..." she nodded, "understand."

The look that passed between them resembled two wolfs waiting to mate. Nothing more was said. Together they descended the steps and disappeared into the darkness...
