TIFFANY-NOT MY STEPDAUGHTER
PART 4
CHAPTER 1
I called Tiffany that night after the birthday party disaster turned fuck fest. Just to say thanks and see how the rest of her visit went. She said, "Thank you, also. Not only for the fantastic sex but for staying with me and helping me deal with Mom."
"Oh, it was my pleasure. Well, not the dealing with your mom part. But definitely the rest of it. It was a red letter day," I said.
She said, "Maybe we could do it again sometime."
"Oh. Definitely!" I assured her.
We went through the next week without talking much. We both were pretty busy with work stuff. She called me on Monday 2 weeks after the party. Just to chat. I asked if she had been back to her Mom's this past weekend.
She said, "Yeah. I went by there for a while yesterday. Showed her how to operate the TV. She said she loved it. That it was so much easier to use. We'll see."
"Yeah," I said. "She's a slow learner when it comes to new technology. And she has no patience. If she don't understand it right away she gives up."
"So. How's everything going with you?" she asked.
"Pretty good," I said. "Last week was a busy week at work. I hired two new guys and was training them." I own a small contracting business. Mostly remodeling and doing additions to existing homes. I mostly do estimates, billing, payroll, and bookkeeping. All the clerical stuff. I always enjoyed the building. Still do. But I had to start running the business as it grew and hire additional help to do the actual building.
"How 'bout you?" I asked. "Everything good with work? And the new home?" Tiffany does graphic design work for a national grocery store chain.
"Yeah," she replied. "They're starting a new membership rewards program at work and I'm working on the website and poster design. Also designing the membership cards. So it's kept me busy. Glad to hear business is booming for you. I'm sure that makes you happy."
"Yeah, it's what pays the bills," I said. "What you're working on sounds interesting and fun."
"It is," she agreed. "I'm having fun with it. And, I'll get a 2% bonus from the membership fees from the customers registering. Maybe I can get that new car I've been wanting."
She sounded excited. I was happy for her and told her so. I said, "Wow! That sounds awesome. Congratulations"
"And congrats to you, too, on your business doing well," she said. "I'm happy for you as well."
"Perhaps we should go out and celebrate our good fortune," I said.
"Hey, that sounds great," she agreed. "What have you got in mind?"
"I'm thinking maybe Outback Steakhouse," I said. "If that's alright with you. Or anywhere you'd like. I'm easy."
She said, "Outback is fine. I love their steaks. And the Bloomin' Onion."
"Oh yeah. Good stuff," I said. "Tomorrow night? Or do you want to wait until the weekend?"
"Tomorrow night is fine," she said."I'm ready for a night out. What time?"
"7:00?" I asked. "Want me to pick you up?"
"7:00 is good," she said. "And I'll just meet you there. It's kind of out of your way to come here then there. And, besides, I need to go to Wally World. So I'll do that first, then meet you at Outback. If that's okay."
"That's fine," I said. "Have fun at Wally World."
"Yeah, right. A barrel of laughs," she joked. "See you tomorrow evening."
"Good night, Tiff. See you tomorrow," I said.
"Good night, Dan," she said.
CHAPTER 2
We arrived at Outback at the same time and got parking spaces side by side. They're not overly crowded on Tuesday nights. I hugged her when she got out of her car and said, "Hi, Tiff. It's good to see you."
She kissed me and said it was good to see me, too.
I said, "You look really nice tonight. You didn't have to get all dolled up for me." She did look nice. She was dressed in a plain, yellow skirt. Not real short, and loose fitting. She had on a loose fitting pale green button-up blouse. She never wore hose or pantyhose that I know of. Didn't need them. Her legs were great. And always tanned. I guess she goes to tanning salons. Her hair was loose and hanging down her back. She had a necklace on but no earrings. Her appearance was not over the top, but rather, simple, yet exquisite.
She chuckled, and said, "I'm NOT all 'dolled up'. This is just ordinary clothes. "But thanks for the compliment."
I said, "I guess it's just because you always look great no matter what you wear. So you always look like you made an extra special effort. But you don't need to make any special effort. You're just naturally beautiful."
"Flattery will get you everywhere," she said. "Now. Are we going to eat, or what?"
We had a great meal. We got a few nasty looks from a couple people who thought it wrong for a young girl to be with a man old enough to be her father. I guess because we sat beside each other in the booth. But most of them, I guess, assumed we were father and daughter. Either way, we didn't care.
After we ate we headed to our cars and made a vow to get together soon. We hugged, kissed, said our goodbyes, and went home.
CHAPTER 3
"Dayun," Tiffany said in that sing-song voice when I answered the phone Saturday afternoon. That voice that always told me I was in for some work or a favor she wanted.
"Hi, Tiff," I said. "What kind of trouble am I in? You're using that voice that tells me you need something," I said jokingly. It had become a joke between us over the years.
She laughed, and said, "Just kidding. You're not in trouble. Well, nothing big anyway. Just a little something I need if you can."
I said, "I certainly will if it's something I can handle. What do you need?"
She replied, "I'm sure you can handle it. But it would be easier to show you when you get her. Can you come over this evening?"
"Yeah. I'm doing something right now, but I could be there around 6:00, if that's okay," I said.
"Perfect," she said. "Oh. And bring your drill."
"Will do," I replied. "See you at 6:00."
"What the hell does she need done that requires a drill?", I wondered.
I finished up an estimate for work that I was working on, got a little something to eat, and took a shower. It was 5:30 so I got my drill and drill bits from the garage and headed on over to Tiffany's because I had to stop and get gas on the way. I texted her and asked if she needed me to pick up anything for her on my way. She replied that she didn't need a thing.
CHAPTER 4
I rang the doorbell and heard Tiffany call out, "Come on in. It's open."
I went in and she called from down the hall, "Is that you, Dan?" I told her it was. She said, "Make yourself comfortable. I'll be there in just a minute. There's beer in the fridge if you want one. Or anything else you want. Help yourself."
"I think I will," I said. "Do you want one?"
"Yeah. Get me one, too, if you don't mind. And a glass, please," she replied.
"You got it," I said. "Want it back there?"
"No, just sit it on the coffee table. Be right there," she replied.
"Okay," I said.
I got the beers and put hers on a coaster on the coffee table along with a glass. I just drink out of the bottle. I sat on the couch to wait for her.
I was sitting on the couch looking at a magazine when I heard Tiffany say, "Hi, Dan." The couch faced away from the hallway and her room so I didn't see her come in. I stood up and turned and said, "Hi Tiff. How are you?"
"I'm good," she said. "Sorry to make you wait. I had to dry my hair after getting out of the shower."
