"Brit."
"Hmmmmm?" she muttered.
"Wake up."
"Why? I'm tired."
"So am I but I think you're gonna wanna see this," Jerry insisted as he nudged the blonde beauty laying next to him.
"What?" she asked in a surly tone.
"THIS," he said as he waved the piece of paper in front of her face.
"What is it?"
"Just open your eyes and look. If you don't think it's worth looking at, you can go back to sleep."
She opened her eyes just enough to see the note that her young lover held in his hand. "Let me sit up. I can't see the damn thing when you've got it so close," she snarled as she slowly sat up.
Her sandy-blonde hair fell in long tresses over her shoulders as she sat up while the covers slid lower revealing her magnificent breasts. She leaned back against the head board as she took the note from him. The instant her eyes focused on the piece of paper, she sat up straighter, her mind trying to take in the meaning of what she was reading:
The answers you're looking for are in the tunnel.
"Where did you get this?" she asked, her deep-water blue eyes suddenly ablaze.
"It was laying here on the bed when I woke up. At first I thought maybe you were playing some kind of joke but then I recognized the handwriting." He paused. "It's my mom's."
She looked at him in disbelief. "You're sure?"
"There's not a doubt in my mind."
Suddenly supercharged with energy, she threw the rest of the covers off and slid from the bed, revealing her gorgeous body to him as she headed for the shower.
"How did I get so fucking lucky?"
he asked himself as he watched her.
As an afterthought, she called over her shoulder, "I think we've waited long enough to explore the tunnel, don't you?"
Lost in his own thoughts, he barely even heard her question.
"Jer?"
"Yeah. Ahhhhh ... yeah. Sounds like a good idea," he stuttered.
She shrugged her shoulders as she left the room, her nude hips swaying enticingly.
Instead of getting up, he settled back into the bed, his eyes closed, as his mind drifted back over everything that had happened over the past three years. It had all started when his mother had disappeared while sailing. For the next two years, his family had gone their separate ways; his sister moving hundreds of miles away and his father burying himself in his work while Jerry'd move about aimlessly, looking for that 'special something' he just couldn't identify. Then, Brittany appeared in their lives. His dad was suddenly happy again and the three of them became almost a family. Unfortunately, that happiness only lasted a brief six months before his father disappeared too.
Jerry's world fell apart, becoming bleak and empty. That was until Brittany brought light back into it again. She'd showed up on a Tuesday night to make him dinner and by a series of circumstance, never left. Now, she lived in the old house with him as his friend, co-author, and, most recently, lover.
Just the thought of her long sandy-blonde hair, deep-water blue eyes, golden-brown skin, and 34D-24-34 body made his cock begin to twitch and harden. So before he realized what he was doing, he found himself almost running down the hallway, a lustful glimmer in his eyes. Unfortunately, his timing was off. She was already coming out of the bathroom, still completely naked except for a towel wrapped around her head.
"Hey, where's the fire?"
"Nowhere. I was just thinking ...," he left the rest unsaid as he pulled her against him, his lips descending on hers.
"Mmmmmmmm," she moaned. Images of his young toned body pressed against hers, and the feel of his hard cock rubbing against the opening of her womanly treasure instantly ignited her own desire only to be cooled just as quickly as she remembered the note he'd just found. As much as she didn't want to, she knew they had to stop or the whole day would most likely be spent in bed.
She giggled as she placed a hand on his chest and gently pushed him away, breaking their kiss. "There'll be plenty of time for that later."
"Arrrgghhhh," he groaned.
With the grace of a ballerina, she slipped from his embrace and headed for her old bedroom to get dressed.
He turned to watch her go, calling out, "You know that comment is almost as bad as 'We can always be friends'."
She laughed as she continued down the hallway. "Take your shower ...," she said before she paused and looked back over her shoulder. Then in a low, sultry voice she finished, "lover."
"Arrrgghhhh," he groaned again as he watched her enter her old room, the door slowly closing behind her.
After a quick shower, he dressed and found her waiting in the kitchen. Neither was hungry so they slipped some energy bars and water into the backpacks they were carrying before they went into the cellar and the tunnels beyond. For hours they followed various routes without finding anything until she caught the glint of something in her flashlight. She called him over and the two of them searched the area without finding a thing.
"I know I saw something," she growled.
"Okay. So why don't you go back to the spot where you were standing when you saw it and try again?"
