Ira's arms trembled as he blocked the blows of the angel's sword. His eyes cut to the right as the other angel came soaring in her weapon poised for the kill. He knew whoever he was crossing swords with was stronger than him. He should have guessed that there would be angels of all orders that had survived the fall. So far his practice with drawing strength from his enslaved souls hadn't been all that spectacular. Yet he knew if he didn't try it then he was dead. Not even his grandmother could bring him back. Tapping into the skills that his aunt had taught -- or more importantly -- pounded into him, sending the female angel into her partner. Ira would need the space and the time to tap into the two souls. He couldn't risk using more than two. His eyes glanced to the left as he saw a... "
Nah... they can't... really
?!" Ira chuckled at the stereotype as the hearse skidded to a stop in the parking lot.

"What the hell?!" Kelly muttered as in shock as he stared out the window as Charlotte sped towards the off ramp.
"What in heaven's name?!" Aurore whispered as she took in the fight. Her eyes glanced to her left as Pandora peered over her shoulder.
"Nimue seems we're going to be walking into a huge mess," Pandora stated as she noted the kind of beings Samuel had described to them.
"I know sister," Nimue said, the edge of her hidden fan blades glinted in the moon light as she peered over the tips of them before sliding them back into their compartments. "We'll just have to make them pay for thinking they can harm her right hand, and my husband," she growled murderously, snapping the fan closed.
"Sammy, you're using up too much magic," Kelly silently warned. Looking over at her aunt as the engine roared. She had no clue how her aunt kept the car on the road as she took turns at speeds she thought the car couldn't handle.
"You three focus on aiding Samuel, me and Nimue will cover you," Pandora said, making battle plans as her face peered in the space between the driver and passenger seats as Charlotte pulled into the mall parking lot. Knowing that Samuel was taxing his body. Such wanton use of his blood magic had its drawbacks.
"Ladies let us show these fools that no one shall harm Seipowe's Herald," Nimue said evilly, her silver eyes flashed with her murderous intent.
"And make them pay for every scratch on his body," Charlotte said, matching Nimue's cold tone as she slid out of the car.
Kelly jumped slightly as a fountain of blood shot into the air as one of Nimue's hidden blades lodged itself in one of the men's throats.
"Steel yourself Kelly, more blood will be shed on this night before it's all over," Pandora said, stepping up to Kelly's side as she drew her rapier from its sheath. Its sweeping, complex polished steel guard reflected the light of Samuel's magic as it played along it. Sword rings extended forward from the crosspiece as Pandora's fingers drummed along the rich blue velvet of the hilt. "Whatever happens tonight, Samuel is the only thing that matters." "Speak of the devil," Nimue muttered, smirking when she felt Samuel in her mind. Her blood red kimono fluttered in the breeze as a swath of bodies crumbled to dust. Her silver eyes shimmered as Samuel stood at the other end of the lane. Her ruby painted lips curved into a lush, coy smile as her undead eyes fell upon him who gave each one of them a smirk as those cobalt eyes danced mischievously before the horde of bodies filled the gap blocking their sight. "Ladies...!" Nimue said, stepping up to her sister's side, her fans slid down her wrists. Their blades jetted out the tops as her murderous gaze ran along the wall of bodies. "I think Samuel has had enough free range; don't you think?"
"I have to agree sister," Pandora said, her tongue ran along the tip of her right fang as she thought of the meal to come. "I think a chain is in order," she joked as her blade slid out of the chest of the man before her. His crimson blood jetted out splattering her black t-shirt in that coppery scent. It had been so long since she's had to use her sword skills, she hoped she wasn't too rusty.
"I'll keep that in mind once we get my Sammy home," Charlotte nodded. "Kelly, Aurore, you will aid me," she commanded as she began to chant. A spell circle appeared and formed before her, its dark orange light encircled her, Kelly, and Aurore.
"Okay, you're serious," Kelly whistled as she noted the kind of circle she was using.
"Of course, I am. That's my husband out there," Charlotte said, smiling over her shoulder at Kelly. "I leave our protection to the two of you," she said, looking at Nimue's and Pandora's backs.
"Leave that to us," Nimue said, her fans spun in her hands as she sliced open the throat of the man closest to her.
"Aurore repeat word for word what Kelly speaks," Charlotte ordered as she peered over her left shoulder.
"Right," Aurore nodded as she brought her hands up to add her magic when it was needed.
"Hear me Samuel Goodall!"
"
Ah hell
,
please don't embarrass me in front of the bad guys
," Samuel pleaded in his head as he heard his aunt's voice.
"Once we're done tonight. Be prepared!" Charlotte shouted her ominous warning.
"Why does that sound hot and frightening?" Samuel muttered as he looked down and found himself encircled by a sigil.

Ira glanced down as Samuel was engulfed in a pillar of light. He was worried that Samuel couldn't hold out until he dealt with the two angels before him. Spinning his sword in hand so the tip pointed at the ground. His four wings extended, his gold-ruby eyes flashed as his angelic and demonic power flared out as his left hand rested on the pommel of his sword.
"Hear me! I, Suriel Zol, command thee!" Thunder rumbled, lightning crawled along his feathers and the sky as Ira took the first step in climbing the rung of the angelic order. "Come forth! Hear my call! Hear my command!" His horns grew dark as the moonless night, his halo burned brightly like the embers of the Sun. The red haze of his demonic taint drifted along the surface of his eyes as he pulled two souls from the pocket dimension he had stored them in. A red light and a blue one appeared in the space of his wings. His muscles bulged; his sinews strained to control the rush of strength that flooded his body.
"You are no Suriel!" The weaker angel cried out as she thought to take Ira's head. The move was too fast to be seen. The blinding light of the angel exploding covered his movement as her body split into two.
"You'll pay for that you abomination!" The angel snarled as she blocked Ira's slash. "You will know all the pains Hell can offer you for killing my sister!"
"Don't you ever shut up?" Ira spat. A wicked smirk graced his face as the angel looked down as his angelic light appeared on the palm of his hand. Watching the angel flying into the Mall's exterior wall. Bringing up his hand...
"Where are you looking?" Someone whispered in his ear before he brought up his own sword in time to keep from being cleaved in two. The dull metal sound rang out was the light pole wrapped itself around Ira as his back collided with it. "You might have the power now, those little souls helping you. But you cannot think you can be something you are not!"

"How much farther?" Aswang asked, growing tired of carrying her sister. Anael had forbidden Ardat Lili from using her true form while they were on the earthly plane. Still it would have made the task a whole lot easier if Ardat Lili could use her own legs.
"Not much farther," Anael stated, her eyes narrowing as she felt her father's power waning. Her white hair whipped behind her as her wings pushed against the air to increase her speed. "We must hurry," she warned.
"You don't have to tell me, I am his daughter as well," Aswang huffed as she kept pace with Anael.
"Release me Aswang," Ardat Lili said, her black eyes peered up at Aswang once they reached the Mall. "Help father, I shall do the same with mother."
"Very well sister, but you'll have to bear the brunt of her anger," Aswang said, releasing her hold on her sister. Waving at her with a wicked smile on her lips as Ardat Lili cursed her.
"You should help your mother, I fear you won't stand a chance against her," Anael said, before her wings pushed her skyward.
"The nerve," Aswang huffed, as she crossed her arms. "I can help too, you know," she said, in a tiny voice. "Then again..." A devilish smile formed on her lips at the thought of listening to the cries of the mortals as her whip tore into their bodies. The screams of pain and fear as its flames set their bodies on fire.
Ardat Lili's arms were out stretched as the wind roared in her ears as she fell to the ground. Her forked tongue ran along her lips at the thought of her blade tasting the living flesh of mortal souls. Her eyes glinted in wicked glee as she brought her halberd up along her chest. She could feel the evil of her blade eagerly awaiting the blood of man to coat it. Her body shot down to the ground in a concussive boom! Asphalt crumbled under her foot as she rose from her squatting position. Her sinister laugh filled the air as she spun around the blade of her halberd cleaved through the mass of bodies that surrounded her.
"I simply can't take my eyes off of you," Aswang said, as she came swooping in taking one of the men with her as her whip wrapped itself around his neck. His feet kicked as she toyed with it as she played with the man as if he was a doll dancing to her guided touch. That was before she sent the man head first into the pavement. Laughing gleefully as his gray matter oozed out of his broken skull. However, their blood lust soon came to an end at they felt their mother's anger.
"Mother!" Ardat Lili yelped. Slyly nudging the bloody intestines from the top of her boot. Trembling in fear as the humans around Mor just disintegrated to dust, yet to her eyes she knew it was due to her reverting to her true form for a microsecond. Her eyes glanced to the left as she noted how the older succubus danced through the ranks of humans, her sword cleaving through bodies with ease. "It's not what it looks like," Ardat Lili said, trying to hide her halberd behind her back. Only to look down to her left as her sister's body thumbed and bounced on the ground beside her.
