"So tomorrow...wanna go see our new house?" he asked with a twinkle in his eye.

Meno and Delia were rushing around getting things ready for their outing. Meno had made an appointment with the housing realtor and the pair were going to be spending the weekend see homes.
As Meno and Delia drove to the realtors office they held hands. Delia was happy that they were planning on moving out of the garage. She had never expected to have what she had now. She had not given up, but had decided that being in love and having her own family was just not in her future.
She had always cared deeply for Meno. She had never expected something like what had happened months ago. She wasn't sure at first if what Meno and her were doing. They had always flirted and maybe there was a bit of touching. But they went way beyond what they had ever done. She had been unsure, but her body wasn't. For the first time she just went with what felt natural and she loved every single moment.
Now they were here in Meno's truck. Holding hands. She was pregnant. She was in love. It was something else. Every time she wasn't near him she missed him. Every something awesome or something good occurred she wanted him to know about it. More than that, she loved the way their bodies just made sense to each other.
As Meno parked the truck she looked over at him. He had always been hard on himself, saying he wasn't handsome or attractive. She loved the way his kind smile made her melt. It had always been that way. He was the kind one, she was always the more rough and tumble sort. She knew instantly that he would never say or do anything that wasn't from a place of love. Suddenly she realized that he was looking right at her, she realized she had been staring.
"Are you alright?" Meno said. "Yes. Just spaced out." Delia smiled.
The pair got out of the truck and made their way to the real estate workers office. The older lady opened the door and welcomed them in. She pulled out some water bottles and laid out two small binders that contained the places she wanted to show them.
"Okay love birds. Here's what I want to do. I am going to show you some places. We are going to follow CDC guidelines so it will be mostly just wearing masks and social distancing. To do that I want to give you both time at each house to wander around and see it for yourselves. How does one hour per address sound?" the realtor asked.
The pair nodded that they understood and off they went. The realtor was taking them to two places that day. One was a smaller house and the other was the place Meno's job had recommended. They wanted to keep their options open and were planning on seeing two other places over the weekend. The pair sat in the back together as the older lady went on and on about how realty had become a very difficult job since the pandemic. She said in all honesty that it was trying but not something she hadn't prepared for from the beginning.
The car slowed to a stop at the first place and Delia and Meno got out along with the realtor. She walked them up to the small home and opened it up. She told them a bit about the house and the area. There was a middle school nearby and the area was safer than most. She said the house had two stories and that it also had an attic.
"Okay enough background. I'll let you walk through the house. The owners knew to leave all doors open so you won't need to turn any knobs. For the small backyard I can let you in or if you're on the second floor you can most of it from there. They left the windows open from the master bedroom for that purpose." she said.
