Sorry if this isn't very good, this is my first time writing a story like this. Useful criticism is welcome.

When I'd finally reunited with my estranged uncle, I had quite literally walked into him. I was leaning on my cart handle as I walked through the store, finally crossing the last item off on my grocery list when I felt my cart crash into someone else's.
"Oh no, I'm so-!" My head shot up, feeling surprised and elated as my eyes widened when I realized exactly who I'd run into. "Uncle Derek!" My uncle blinked blankly at me for a second before his eyes lit up, immediately walking around his cart to pull me into a hug.
"Ellie! It's been a long time since I last saw you, hasn't it? How's everything been?" I leaned into my uncle's nice, strong grip, eagerly hugging him back. The last time I'd seen him was seven years ago, back when I was fourteen. He'd had a fight with my parents before being kicked out of our house, and was told not to come back. My mother never told me why, and I'd missed him a lot since he used to come around ever couple of weeks.
"Everything's been going alright, I've been doing pretty good!" I reluctantly let Uncle Derek go, shifting back to lean on my cart like I had before. Uncle Derek moved back as well, propping his elbow up on his own cart. "I've actually been going to the local college for about a year now. I'm studying nursing."
"You have? How haven't I run into you before now, then?"
"No idea." I laughed, gazing at my uncle with a warm smile. We stood and chatted for a few minutes before I needed to get going, needing to get back to my rented home. We shared phone numbers and promised to get together one night before parting ways, to catch up on old times.
It was after a week of talking that Uncle Derek and I were able to make plans, so that Saturday night we decided to put them into action. I picked Uncle Derek up at the door of his apartment building, sliding into the passenger seat at his insistence of being my chauffer for the night.
"You look... wonderful, El. Almost dazzling." He complimented. I couldn't help but blush at it, brushing my hand over my dress. I'd opted for a snug, green dress that showed off quite a bit of my figure. Probably a bit too dressy for a movie and a dinner at a local bar, but I enjoyed dressing up and showing off my looks.
"Thanks, Uncle Derek."
"You're welcome. I'm glad you're able to cone out, you've grown so much since I last saw you... I missed you, Ellie."
"I miss you too, Uncle Derek. I'm really excited to be going out with you tonight." I propped my elbow against the car door, watching buildings and people go by. My mind wandered as he drove, centering back on the one particular question that kept bugging me. "Uncle Derek... Can I ask you something?"
"Of course, El! Anything you like."
It was probably the wrong time to ask this question, but it's been such a burning question in my head for the past seven years that I needed an answer for it. "Why didn't you ever visit again? Why'd you stay away?" I looked over at Uncle Derek as he went quiet, watching his fingers tap a nonsense rhythm onto the steering wheel.
"I'm... sure your mother made you very aware that I didn't like your father." I only nodded in response, waiting for him to finish before commenting. I didn't blame Uncle Derek for that, really. My father hadn't been the nicest person, I'd often hear him and my mother arguing as I was growing up; most arguments having been started by him. I'd been more relieved than anything when he died. "When we were growing up your mother was loud- and very proud of it. She was never afraid to state her opinion on anything, even if it caused her a bit of trouble for it... until she met your father. She changed over time after they got together, into someone I barely recognized as my sister. The day I was kicked out, I nearly decked him because I saw him slap your mother. She kicked me out to avoid me causing anymore trouble, because your father probably would've called the cops on me if I'd stayed any longer."
I wasn't quite sure how the story made me feel. Was I happy that I had an answer? Definitely. It had definitely satisfied the burning curiosity I'd had in the back of my mind... But it didn't make me feel better, knowing the reason he'd been kicked out was kind of garbage. "My father definitely would've deserved it if you hit him. He was a bit of a jerk... I'm sorry mom pushed you away."
"Unfortunately, El, that's just the way life is sometimes. At least I'm able to see you now, I'm happy to have you back in my life." Uncle Derek temporarily moved one hand off the steering wheel, reaching over to grip my knee. Since he hadn't taken his eyes off the road however, his hand ended up drifting a bit too high and gently gripping the inside of my thigh. My cheeks began to burn slightly as what felt like a bolt of electricity jolted up my spine, gazing down at his hand. I was afraid to explore the feeling of excitement I felt at the touch, managing to lightly pat Uncle Derek's hand in response. I was almost sad when his hand withdrew back to the steering wheel, missing the touch.
We'd opted to see a cheesy romance film with the intention to poke fun at it, something fun to enjoy our first night hanging out together. The theater was almost empty, it was only the two of us and three other people, and we were the only group there. Uncle Derek had taken the outer seat, meaning that I had to climb over him to get in and out when duty called.
I tripped on the edge of the carpet as I tried to get back to my seat, and I squeaked as I lost my balance. I ended up with my face inches away from Uncle Derek's, one of my hands on his shoulder and the other on his thigh only inches away from his crotch.
"Are you okay, El?" Uncle Derek asked with a straight face, something odd in his voice as he spoke carefully. It was too dark to see if he was blushing, something I was grateful for since it meant he couldn't see that my cheeks were burning a beet red.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I breathed out, feeling paralyzed. I needed to move, I knew that much, but the longer I hesitated I began to feel Uncle Derek's thumb begin to lightly brush over my hip. He other hand reached up to settle on my other hip, slowly drifting it's way up my side until it cupped one of my tits. My face felt like it was on fire from the feeling of excitement and something else the touch made me feel... Was it desire? My hand on his thigh slowly began to drift up, our heads inching closer, close enough for our noses to touch-
The music on the screen behind us signaled the end of the movie, the sound of a quiet applause dragging us out of the intimate moment we'd found ourselves in. I stood up just as the lights flickered on, taking a step back to give Uncle Derek a chance to get to his feet.
