My second wife,
My wife also had a hall pass. She always kept it on the down-low. I always encouraged her with pillow talk about sleeping with other men, but I never really questioned her about it. I suspected, encouraged, and allowed her to have a relationship with one of my co-workers.
I know he and another guy always ran together and she was friendly to both. We had them over one night for dinner and some cards many times. One night I got a call that I needed to go to work, and it was clear that I would have to cover the shift for someone who was sick. I made.my apologies and prepared to leave said to them "stay and have fun. No need to stop because I have to leave." As I went to the door, she followed out to say goodbye and said, " Are you sure? I said of course and leaned in to kiss her good night. As I did, without warning I caught her western-style shirt front and pulled the snaps on her shirt completely open. As she wasn't warning a bra thus exposed her breasts. Then I hugged her, leaned in, and whispered, "have fun."
She blushed smiled and waved to me as I stepped into my car and drove off. But she did not re-button button her shirt. My heart was racing and was wondering if I'd done the right thing
To my disappointment, I never really inquired what happened after I left for work. She did mention she fell asleep on a futon but woke and went to bed later that night. But no confession. I saw one of the guys a couple of days later and he apologized for leaving her asleep on the futon. I said, "All's good as long as y'all had fun." He sheepishly said yup and went down the hall.
Sometime after I was sent to Europe to work. We were given temporary accommodations at a local hotel. My wife and son were together in a small room, so sex was rare and only early in the morning, subdued, to say the least. A couple of days after arriving I ran into an old buddy who I hadn't seen in about 8 years. My wife did not know him but seemed to get along. We would meet daily for a drink at the end of the day and most nights dinner. After a couple of weeks, I was taking a familiarization class and it lasted all day. On the last day, we were to bring our spouses and kids to take a tour in a nearby town with lunch and transportation provided. We would be gone all day. The morning arrived and my wife wasn't feeling well so she didn't go. So my son and I got on the bus and took the tour. I had this gut feeling all day about what might be happening back in the hotel while our son and I were away.
