"I think so, shall we go take a look? We can leave the bikes for a bit can't we?" Daniel asked.

The steps were steep and uneven, so walking down was slow and not very easy. But as the trees opened up it was worth the stunning view. I took the bicycle to go grocery shopping. With two bags and the basket in front I could get more than enough. The local french supermarket was small but had everything I needed. The wine section especially had lots of good options. Instead of going for the wine I knew, I picked local wines with pretty labels. The supermarkt staff was friendly, albeit their accent was strong and we had some trouble understanding each other. They assured me the local wines tasted great.

While cycling back I really felt how sore my legs were. The country road had become less busy, which made the trip back pleasant and cleared my mind.
