Jason and Jennifer were twins born to a rich, but overly strict parents. When they were children, as long as they did what they were told they got everything they ever wanted. However, as soon as the pair turned eighteen, everything was taken away. Now they had to work for what they wanted, they couldn't just ask for handouts, they had to get real jobs. Jason and Jennifer at least were close, very close. For most of their years they were almost inseparable. It wasn't until they reached their teens that they drifted a little apart as they both were part of different crowds. Jennifer was a bombshell, wide hips, perfect round ass, a set of triple D breasts, long blonde hair, and deep blue eyes. She was one of the popular girls and could bag any guy she wanted, and she had for the most part, although many never really truly measured up to what she wanted.
Jason on the other hand was more of the technical side. As a young man he was in shape, not bad looking, charming, and although Jennifer hadn't known it according to a few of his old girlfriends, a force in bed, but he loved sitting at his computer more than sports. It wasn't until he was out of school that things changed a little. He got a little lazy, he gained some weight. He wasn't obese or anything, just was a bit more of a chubby gamer boy. He spent most of his nights now sitting down playing games to relax. Jennifer joined him at times, it reminded her of when they were closer. He loved having her join and they acted like they hadn't missed a step. But as soon as the gaming was over and she left to do other things, they barely said a word to each other. She missed the closeness, and so did he, but they never told each other.
While he worked in tech, she modeled. But both were still smaller players in their fields. They rarely had any major amount of money anymore after they were cut off. They only thing they kept was an apartment that their parents paid for. It was more of a start than most people their age, but it was still hard with the money they barely made. Luckily the only real expensive stuff they got was more games for Jason's gamer habits, but his tech job got him discounts and freebees. For a few years, it felt like the two were stuck in that position, barely getting any farther ahead. Worse, Jennifer began to long for something more, she just didn't know what yet, and although she was gorgeous, a lot of the modeling gigs she got were far away, making it hard to do as many as she could.
Then, one day, a month after their twenty-first birthdays, they got a call. Their parents had been in a horrible accident. Neither would survive, their mother dying at the scene, their father a day later in the hospital. The twins were racked with grief, and in the week leading up to the wake, they barely said a few words to each other, they couldn't, it was hard to live or understand.
It was taxing to be here. Jennifer just sat in the chair near the coffins, watching all the people go by, saying their goodbyes. She had been crying for most of the day, but she was out of tears, now she just felt horrible. Her brother was still by the coffins, he hadn't left their side since he got up there. She sighed and then just stared down at the floor.
Hours passed, and as people finally started to clear out, Jason walked up to her.
"Come on Jen, the attorney is going to do fathers will reading."
Jen looked up, confused.
"Already? They aren't even in the ground until tomorrow morning."
Jason sighed and nodded.
"I know, but apparently it's in the will that they want it read immediately after the wake. Come on, sis."
He flashed her a small smile and put his hand out for her to take. She gave the smile back, knowing she could at least rely on him. She took his hand and stood up, and the two walked back to a room off to the side. There was about ten other close people to their parents there. Mostly business partners and friends, they didn't really have a lot of other family left.
Jason and Jen sat down next to each other and listened. It was a lot of bullshit at first, mostly little things to so-so, cars to old buddies. Jen just sat in silence, a minor bit of her just curious to where the estate of their parents, the almost close to 310 million dollars was going. She knew small parts of it would go off to a few partners, but most of it...
The attorney cleared his throat and began to read another part.
"To my children, I loved you dearly, and although I kept money from you so you could be your own people, now in death, I give you what I can. To my son, Jason, I leave to you the bulk of my estate, 300 million dollars."
There was an auditable gasp. Jen's mouth hung open. "Just to him?!" she thought. She was never greedy, or selfish...yet all of the sudden those words brought out those emotions, ones she had never seen before in herself.
"To my daughter, although we do love you, we aren't confident in your business decisions. Your modeling hasn't gotten you anywhere, and we want you to change career, or, settle down and become a house wife and mother. Upon completion of a new college degree and hiring into a new field,
or
upon the delivery of a child, my daughter Jennifer will receive half of the estate that was given to Jason, or what remains of it by that time."
There was another gasp. Jason looked over at his sister, unsure how to process it. But he hid a smile, he was rich, he could finally stop working and just play games all day. It's what he always wanted.
The two left, after the reading. Jason went back to playing games, while Jennifer sat alone in her room, her mind full of thoughts. Anger, envy, jealousy all went through her mind. Why the hell does he get all of it for nothing?! And she had to get a DEGREE?! Or have a baby?! Both would take time...the baby was quicker, but who the fuck would she have it with? It didn't say she needed a husband, just a baby. Maybe a random guy? But what then? She could get half the money, and then lose half of that to whatever weirdo she got sperm from. She couldn't risk it. And she sure as hell didn't want to go back to school, or change jobs...
By the time they were lowering their bodies into the graves the next day, Jennifer stood next to it watching it go down. She looked at her brother, who was still supportive, but offered no reassurance he would help her. She had made up her mind...she needed a baby...the problem was...who.
