Hello, readers! Yes, this is late. The last two weeks have been crazy. Still, hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!

"We are going to be late!" I heard Mom yelling at Dad from down the hall.
"Look, I have to get a few of these things done for work before I can go. You should head there first and I'll join you in about an hour." Dad said to her.
"You want me to show up alone?"
"Take Tony then."
"I can't, you know how this party gets sometimes."
"And we never take part in it anyway, so there won't be a problem."
Mom sighed, "You know what? Fine... Tony!"
"Yes, Mom?"
"Go put your Father's costume on and be quick about it." Since I heard their conversation, I knew not to argue. Even though I didn't want to go. I don't want to piss Mom off more than she already is.
I grabbed the costume from their bedroom and went to mine. This year's theme was Heroes and Villains. I guess Dad picked Bane from Dark Knight Rises. Thank God I don't have to shave my head for a party. I wonder what Mom is going as. She already had a coat on and if she has a mask, it hasn't been put on yet. Luckily, I have a similar build to Dad. We aren't jacked or anything like that, people would just not be able to tell us apart. Especially with this mask.
"So, are you not coming at all then? Since you can't show up without a costume?" I heard them still arguing while I was putting the costume on.
"Is it really that big of a deal? We go every year, but I have to get this done. It wasn't up to me."
"PFF, whatever." I heard Mom coming this way. "Good, at least someone listens to me. Wait to put the mask on till we get there." She grabs my hand, "Let's get going, I might still be able to have fun tonight."
"Bye!" I hear Dad saying as we pass his office room.
"Piss off, Greg," Mom said back to him as we made our way to the car.
"You ok, Mom?" I ask as we leave the driveway.
"I will be, I just need some drinks and have some fun."
"Just don't go overboard. I don't want to be carrying you out."
"Don't worry about it, maybe you will get to have some fun too."
"How? I'm pretending to be Dad, it's not like I can hook up with anyone."
"Well... I guess that's true..."
"I'm not going to get my hopes up. What are you dressed as anyway?"
"You will see, your Father didn't even know."
The rest of the car ride was in silence. Maybe I shouldn't have agreed so easily. Should have asked for money or something. I look out the window and see people's Halloween decorations trying not to fall asleep.
"There's the place, put your mask on." Mom said.
I slide the Bane mask over my head and fasten the straps on the back. Now, no matter what, I am going to sound like Bane. Mom found a spot to part while I was doing this.
"At least it's not hard to breathe in," I said sounding like Bane. Mom started to laugh a little.
"Come on, let's get out of the car so I can take off this coat." Mom said. She sounded like she was already in a better mood.
I was still wondering what costume she had on, so I was watching her as she started to unbutton her coat. Once the last button was undone, she quickly shed the coat. She was dressed as Catwoman, but not any version I have ever seen. She had on black thigh-high boots, a tight (very tight) black one-piece that showed a lot of her boobs without showing her nipples, and she grabbed black gloves from the coat that went a little past her elbow. It may seem simple but damn, Mom looked hot in it. I shook my head trying to get those thoughts out. She finished it off with cat ears and a black mask that had whiskers.
"Is everything alright, Greg?" Oh right, I'm supposed to be Dad.
"Yes, everything is fine, Helen." It felt weird calling Mom by her first name. "Do you always wear something revealing?" I ask in a lower voice.
"Good." She said as she walked over to me and whispered, "And no, this is the first time. It was supposed to be a surprise for your Father. Now remember, we have to be a little touchy-feely if we want people to think you are your Father."
"What does that include?" I ask.
"Holding hands, arms around each other, occasional butt grabs. Stuff like that."
"You want me to grab your ass?" She nodded.
"We have to make them believe you are your Father. With that mask you don't have to worry about kissing, it covers half your face."
"I think I'll be able to handle that."
"Good." She said as she grabbed my hand, and we headed towards the house. I say house, it's a damn mansion. "A lot of people will try and talk to you, just go with the flow."
"I'll try, but I'm really out of my element here."
"I know you are, but thank you for coming anyway. There will be drinks, just politely decline saying you're driving home. You are still too young to drink."
"Like I can drink anything with this mask anyway." Mom giggled at that.
As we walked up the walkway, I was looking at the decorations. I swear they just bought everything at the store. There are animatronics, lights, and people dressed to scare you. All cute and horror stuff. It looked like the gates to an amusement park at Halloween.
"Helen! Greg! You finally made it!" I heard a voice call out to us. It was a lady dressed as Wonder Woman by the front door.
"Hello, Karen." Mom answered, "Greg had to do a little thing for work before we could leave." Mom put her arm around me, I put my arm around her as well.
