Adam Burgess thought he had his whole life mapped out. Even as a young boy, he wanted to be a Fireman, and at the age of twenty-one, his dream came true. Right from the start, everyone realised Adam was a natural, not just in his abilities to fight the fires, but also his unnerving ability to assess the scene of devastation and piece together what had caused the blaze. Rarely was he wrong, even correcting his superior officers in the Forensic Section when they carried out their investigations.
Then, when only aged thirty-three disaster struck, and Adam was badly injured in a blaze and spent nearly three months in hospital. On his release, he failed his medical and suddenly found himself deskbound. However, he used this time to his benefit, and within eighteen months, he had qualified as a Forensic Investigator and was back using his skills to their full advantage.
Although, still in the service he was so passionate about, his new role began to take a massive toll on Adam. Sifting through the charred remains of properties, knowing that people had perished, and he could not have helped, began to have a psychological impact on the young man. So, on instruction from his occupational therapist, Adam began to seek time away to clear his head, and hence his newfound love of the outdoors and hillwalking in the Scottish Highlands.
His most recent break saw him make his way to the sleepy little town of Mallaig on Scotland's west coast, and for a change, he decided to make the journey by train. Hopping on in a rain swept Glasgow, he was soon chugging his way along the Clyde, out towards Helensburgh, and then turning inland, the train began to climb through Garelochhead toward Crianlarich.
Now, Adam was beginning to look forward to his trip, as the next part of the journey would take him across the wild and desolate Rannoch Moor before reaching Fort William. However, Adam's hopes were dashed, as the dark foreboding clouds failed to lift and slunk low down the slopes of the mountains, and a light persistent drizzle all but blocked out any spectacular view Adam might have hoped to see.
So it was that at nearly six o'clock Adam, feeling rather frustrated, alighted from the train in Mallaig, finding himself the only passenger standing on the platform. However, it was dry now, the clouds were miraculously beginning to lift, and he could see his destination. Standing just to the side of the platform was a large wall dotted with windows, and at a higher level across it was emblazoned 'The Station Hotel'.
Within twenty steps Adam was opening the door of the hotel and entering what was the small reception area of the hotel. Just a few feet in front of him was a dark-haired woman sitting behind a small desk. It didn't take Adam long to cast an eye over the woman.
Long black wavy hair falling over her shoulders and well down her back, a slim body encased in a tight white cowl-necked knitted top, a pair of faded skinny jeans that showed off long slim legs and black patent kitten heels. If Andy was to have guessed he might have put her in her early thirties, a similar age to himself.
Adam liked what he saw and as the woman turned to look at him with a broad generous smile and twinkling eyes, Adam was very interested.
"Hi, you must be Mr. Burgess," greeted the woman sitting behind the small desk.
"I thought you might be getting off the train. I'm Cat, short for Catriona!"
Meanwhile, Adam had easily slipped his rucksack from his shoulders and gently lowered it to the floor, all the while casting an eye over the bubbly woman.
"A good guess!" replied Adam, "Yes, I'm Adam Burgess!"
The woman grinned back.
"Not much of a guess I'm afraid," Cat grinned back, "You're the only one booked in, still a bit 'out of season' yet!"
As she slid her chair back to stand, she also pushed a registration form and a pen over to Adam.
"If you could just sign this, please, then I'll show you to your room."
Adam was becoming more interested in this very attractive woman. On standing, Adam discovered her to be about five foot ten tall, and she only had kitten heels on. This made her slim legs look even longer.
Cat reached down to lift Adam's rucksack, only to find that she could hardly budge it.
"That's OK, I'll get that," suggested Adam, as he effortlessly lifted it onto one shoulder.
Cat looked stunned, she was no powerlifter, but Adam's rucksack had felt heavy, yet he appeared to lift it as if it was empty.
"My, you are a big strong man, aren't you?" Cat cooed, as she turned and began to climb the flight of stairs up to the first floor.
Adam thought he had died and gone to heaven as he watched Cat's small firm bottom, tightly encased in her jeans, wiggle up the stairs in front of him.
"As I said," Cat interrupted, "we're kind of quiet just now, so I thought we might as well put you up in one of our Sea View rooms."
"Sorry?... What?" mumbled Adam, embarrassed that he hadn't really been listening, he was too engrossed in thinking about what he might like to do with this sexy woman in front of him.
"This way," Cat replied, turning left as they reached the top of the stairs. She looked back at Adam, with that knowing look, knowing that he had been staring at her body, before walking a few yards down the corridor and stopping in front of a door.
"Sorry, we don't have these posh card access things up here, just plain keys," apologised the woman, as she opened the door and walked into the room, Adam following close behind.
Cat made her way across the room, past the king-sized bed to stand in front of a large picture window that had a view across the Sound of Sleat to the Isle of Skye and the majestic Cuillins.
"I love the view here!" sighed Cat, looking out the window, as Adam laid his rucksack on the bed and removed his Tog 24 padded jacket.
"I know!" responded Adam, "I can see it from here!"
Cat turned to find Adam admiring her body, grinning lustfully.
"Well, I'll leave you to get settled," Cat replied, beginning to make a move towards the door.
"Just a minute!" Adam countered, "You know I am strong, but you don't yet know if I'm big!" as he peeled his t-shirt off revealing his toned chest and abs.
"Mmmmm!" moaned Cat, as she looked appreciatively at Adam's well-developed torso.
"It's been a very hot day as well!" Adam added, as he began to unbuckle his jeans, "I really need a shower. Perhaps you would like to scrub my back for me?" he asked, smiling as he began to push his jeans and boxers down his legs, his hardening cock springing free.
"Oh My God!" Cat gasped, as she saw his cock, "You are fuckin' big!"
Stepping out of his shoes, and the pile of clothes now at his feet Adam moved over to where Cat stood, still staring open-mouthed at Adam's bouncing flagpole.
