CHAPTER 5. COCONUT JUICE
Over the next morning, Caylan watched as more and more women accepted Adelaide into their group. She moved among them, her bare breasts now blending with theirs.
"They think your mother's finally accepted you as her
breeder
," Kanavasi said, his gaze lingering as the women laughed and guided Adelaide's hands to their swollen bellies.
Kanavasi turned, but Caylan was gone. He glanced around and spotted him hiding behind a tree, peering at the women and specifically at his own mother.
Less likely, hiding behind the tree, she would notice him peering at her sweet pink soft nipples. Mum's nipples weren't hard at all because of the warm weather, but so attractive, as were her entire breasts, large, the size of his head. It hovered over the ground, and shook every time Adelaide laughed, raising a hand to cover her mouth. Each thrust of her breasts made him shudder and blush. It felt like something inside him exploded or burst, filling his blood with honey.
Kanavasi turned with a smirk, blocking the view. "Looks like the itching plan worked."
"What do you mean?" Caylan asked, distracted.
"My mother. Used itching to... to make your mother stop wearing clothes. Now you can love her."
"I... umm... " Caylan was still hiding behind the tree, giving his hard-on time to loosen up a bit. "Thanks to your mother of course, but I love my Mum as it is... I'm not her...
breeder
."
"You. Are. Strange. You are her only son but you refuse to be with her," Kanavasi said, eyeing Caylan from head to toe. Well, eyeing part of Caylan that he could see. "I want you to join me in my hunt. Come, or stay here and hide all day."
Kanavasi, without waiting for an answer, headed into the jungle. Caylan sighed and followed. He glanced back one last time at his mother. Adelaide was laughing, surrounded by women who offered her amulets. Her breasts were now covered by a mix of colorful beads, twigs, flowers, seaweed, and pearls.
Why consanguinity is bad?
======
Prince Caylan sat at his desk in the royal library, surrounded by rows of ancient books and scrolls. The soft afternoon light streamed through the tall stained-glass windows, painting colorful patterns on the marble floor.
Adelaide stood by the window, her amber eyes watched over him.
"Don't get distracted, Caylan. We're not done with today's lesson. Finish your reading, and then you can go play with your sisters. Or, if you'd like, we could visit the forest again, but only if you work very hard." She smiled for a moment, her dimples showing, but then her face returned to the stern look of a strict teacher.
"Mum," Caylan asked, looking up from his scroll. "Why did Uncle Darst lose his claim to the throne?"
Adelaide made a long sigh. "You've heard the rumors, haven't you?"
Caylan nodded. "He married his niece. I just thought is it really that terrible to marry family?"
A long silence followed, the only sound the soft rustling of the wind outside. Adelaide's face softened for a moment, but her voice remained steady.
"That's just how the world works. And also some traditions are there to protect our kingdom, Caylan," she said. "The royal bloodline must remain pure. Marrying within the family, especially close family, is just bad, Caylan. A taboo."
She walked over, standing behind him. Her hands moved through his light brown hair, her fingers gently scratching his scalp. Caylan relaxed under Adelaide's touch.
"There are things, rumors, for which you are still too young, sweetie. Even I know little about them. Your father once told me that blood mixing can be a path to dark magic."
Caylan opened his mouth in surprise though he really enjoyed the scalp massage. She had long nice fingers.
"We wouldn't want a wicked sorcerer to take the throne, would we?" Adelaide leaned down, meeting his eyes. "These are just rumors, my dear. Don't be afraid. But do you understand that loving family members in that way is wrong?"
Caylan nodded solemnly.
"Good boy," she said with a soft smile. "Now, give Mommy a kiss." She tapped her cheek with her finger.
Caylan gladly brought his lips to kiss her pale, warm, sweet skin. He loved kissing his mommy so much.
"Mmm... My sweet boy."
"I love you, Mum," he said as always.
"And I love you, my dear," she replied, as she always did. Her cheek seemed to glow from his kiss.
"Today we'll finish early," she said, stepping back. "Go play."
====
"You're good... with bow, Cray-Laugh." Kanavasi and Caylan were dragging several boar carcasses behind them, while Kanavasi also carried a handful of colorful herbs.
"My name is Caylan," he corrected, a small grin tugging at his lips. "But yeah, thanks. I spent a lot of time hunting in the forests of Aetherfall. My mother and I used to ride out together, though she never quite liked it when I took down game. She's a peaceful soul, always more in tune with the quiet beauty of nature."
They were hauling boars when, suddenly, Ranraelci appeared before them. The people around were amazed by Kanavasi and Caylan's impressive catch. Caylan felt like a confident victor, but Kanavasi nervously watched his mother.
"We... brought... food. Caylan, great hunter. And I brought plants for the Water of Life," Kanavasi said in Caylan's language for some reason, though he was talking to his chief-mother. His eyes were on her as he offered the colorful herbs.
Ranarelci's expression didn't change. She said something in their native tongue, her tone clearly angry. Kanavasi stepped closer, his voice taking on an unusual tone, intense, almost fervent, as if he were confessing love. He pointed at the boars and then moved even closer. His lips reached toward hers, just upward toward her face, but she pushed him away, grabbed the plants for Water of Life, and walked off.
"She seems upset," Caylan said.
"She despises me." Kanavasi sighed. "You're the eldest son. You can have your mother. But you don't... I don't understand." And with that, Kanavasi walked away, leaving Caylan alone with the boars.
Caylan shrugged and dragged the carcasses back to his hut. He headed to the water to keep looking for food, adjusting his makeshift net. They need fish. He thought about how he kissed Adelaide, how he loved her breasts.
