It was Friday morning as David and the girls waved as their mother drove away in her car. She was going to stay with their grandmother in the north of England for at least a couple of weeks. Carol's mother had just had a hip replacement and needed help with her recovery.
The girls were twins Emma and Samantha who had celebrated their 18th birthday in May. They had just finished their A Level exams and were enjoying the summer before going to university in September.
Even though they were twins they were not identical and looked very different from one another. Emma was the oldest by 30 minutes had blue eyes and blond hair which was cut to shoulder length. She was tall and slim standing 5' 9. She had small pert breasts and a tight bottom that she kept by playing a lot of sport at school.
Her younger sister Samantha who preferred to be called Sam took after her mother. She was shorter than her sister by several inches. She had the same blonde hair but grew it longer so that it reached half way down her back. She had a fuller figure with larger breasts than her sister.
Although he didn't quite admit it to himself, David was a little frightened about being alone and in charge of his daughters for the next couple of weeks. He had arranged that he could work from home while his wife was away.
David wasn't used to being at home during the day and even more so parenting and looking after two teenage girls. But they were his girls and he loved them so he figured it wouldn't be that hard.
"So girls what are your plans for today?" David asked as they went back into the house. The girls stopped their chatter and looked at their father like they just realised he was there.
"We're going to a party tonight at Imogen's house. " Emma replied.
"And tomorrow we've got tickets for a concert." Sam continued.
"Sound good." David said, "Just make sure you get home before your curfew at 12."
"Dad," Emma said after looking at her sister, "you do remember that mum bumped the time up to 1am on our 18th birthday right?"
"Oh right, sure darling. Just be sure to be back by one. " David said feeling a little ashamed. In truth he couldn't remember his wife saying anything about changing the time but he didn't want to appear to be difficult on their first night alone.
David was sitting in the living room watching TV when the twins came in to say they were leaving. He almost had a heart attack when he saw what they were wearing. Emma was wearing a black tank top which emphasised her pert breasts and a pair of tight jeans. Sam was wearing a white blouse that showed off her cleavage and a short blue skirt that barely reached a third of the way down her thighs.
"Is that what your wearing?" David asked shocked.
"Yes dad," Sam said in a childish voice, "do we look pretty?"
"You look lovely, but don't you think its a bit revealing?" he replied.
"This is what all the girls our age wear," Emma took over and said innocently, "Mum never minded." and finished with a cute smile.
"Sorry girls, I guess I'm not really used to what you wear these days. Anyway have fun."
David settled back down to watch the TV but soon feel asleep.
He woke up when he heard the front door opening and whispering voices. He looked at his watch and saw it was 1.20.
"Hi girls." he called out scarring them half to death.
"God dad, you scarred us." Emma said frightened. They both looked exhausted.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, "David said "How was the party?"
"It was okay" Sam answered and yawned loudly, "were pretty tired so we'll go to bed."
"Fine, see you in the morning" David said as he watched them leave the room. He had thought about saying something about them getting back later but decided not to make a big deal about it.
The next morning David got a call from his wife. She told him about her journey and how her mother was and then asked, "How are the girls?"
"The girls are just fine, sleeping in this morning after going to a party last night. By the way why didn't you mention that you now allowed them to stay out until 1.00?"
"I've not done that. As far as I'm concerned it remains at 12.00. They told you it had changed the little devils."
"So its not true?" David asked realising that the girls had tricked him.
"No David,it is not." his wife said. "I was worried about this, " she continued, "worried that they would try things like this. They're taking advantage of me not being there. Don't let them."
"I cant believed that they would do this. " David said feeling his anger building up.
"Darling your in charge of them while I'm away. You need to deal with it. Don't believe anything they say I told them was alright. Just keep them out of trouble." David could hear voices in the background. "Sorry darling I've got to go and sort mum out. One last thing don't be afraid to punish them if needs be."
"Punish them? How?" David asked his wife.
"Ground them, give them chores or get creative.... Just don't back down."
David still felt the anger inside him after his wife hung up. He couldn't believe that the twins had tricked him.
Later he heard the girls in the kitchen. "Good morning or should I say good afternoon." David said with a smile.
"Morning dad" they both said in unison and went back to eating their breakfast.
"So what are the plans for today?" he asked.
"When we've finished breakfast we're going to get ready for the concert tonight." Emma said. David knew exactly what he was going to do and took a deep breath before he continued to speak.
