"So when's the place gonna be finished?"
"They're supposed to be done with the main house by the end of the month. The other buildings will be finished sometime after the new year." Bob sat back on the covered veranda, watching the young people splash and laugh in the pool.
Mick took a swallow of beer and smiled. "Dude, you hit the ball out of the park with this place. Did I ever tell you that?"
Bob chuckled, his deep voice reverberating. "You mentioned it once or twice."
"Couldn't have done it without your magic," Gus said from his seat on Bob's other side.
"For sure," Bob agreed. "What you've done with the money is amazing. I just don't want the FBI to show up, asking where it all came from, okay?"
"So when you say the new place will be built at the end of the month, does that mean that we can go over there, and stay?" Gus asked.
Bob nodded. "Yeah. There are seven bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms around the large living area and kitchen. There's a private playroom, too, with views over the ocean." He looked at his brothers and grinned. "You guys are gonna love the view. It's on a bluff overlooking Molokini. There's a path that leads down to the beach. Totally private!"
"Damn," Mick said happily. "Our own place on Maui. This is gonna be killer."
"It's a long way from K-Mart, huh?" Gus asked as he watched their kids having fun.
"You can say that again," Bob agreed.
"And a long way from that old, small studio," Mick said.
"Yeah, but those were good times," Gus said.
"The best," Bob agreed.
"My brothers!" Mick said, holding his beer bottle up. Bob and Gus clinked their bottles against his.
"Brothers!" Gus said.
"We got each other's backs," Bob said, taking a deep pull.

October 2021
"Tommy, it's time."
He looked up at his cousin, Darcy, noticing her blue eyes and how her dirty blonde hair fell around her shoulders. He felt that twitch in his pants again. It seemed to happen more and more around her.
Yeah, around both Darcy and Lucy. He thought about Lucy. The way her delectable boobs bounced as she walked. Her bright smile and rounded ass drove him crazy. Even her dark, shoulder-length hair looked good to him.
They both made his dick twitch.
And now he was eighteen. They promised him 'things' when his birthday came around. He hoped it meant what he thought it meant.
To his delight, both Darcy and Lucy led him out of his bedroom on the third floor of their old, grand house. He'd lived here all his life, as had his other siblings and cousins.
They led him down the stairs and toward one of the back doors. The ornate, hand-carved door opened with a push, and they walked across the covered veranda, down the broad brick stairs, and out across the immaculate lawn. A gravel path led them through the small grove of trees to the small guest house.
The sun had just set, and its orange glow shone magically around the smaller, beautiful building. Warm light spilled out of the windows and a trace of smoke wafted out of the tall stone chimney. They walked to the door and stepped inside.
All of his cousins were there, along with his older siblings, Robert and Shelly. Robert looked just like their dad. He was a little thick, with long, dark hair and a bushy mustache that made him appear older than his twenty-two years.
Shelly took after their mom, Demi, with the same long, dirty blonde hair. But his sister was taller than her, and when she stood next to their Uncle Mick, Tommy wondered at their similarity.
In contrast, Tommy was a little taller and thinner than his oldest brother, Robert, with lighter brown hair and green eyes compared to Robert's dark hair and brown eyes. He always thought that he looked more like his cousin Lucy in some ways than Robert and Shelly.
There was no mistaking who Lucy looked like. With big boobs and a short stature, she was the spitting image of her mom, his Aunt Lois. But Lucy had the same green eyes as he did. He always felt something stir deep inside when he looked into her eyes.
Tommy didn't think he looked much like either of his parents. Sometimes, he'd look at his Uncle Gus and wonder. He would sometimes catch his uncle looking back at him, smiling softly. That always made him feel good for some reason he never understood.
"Tommy," Robert said in a formal voice from where he stood in front of the wide fireplace. Burning wood crackled, sending out a warm, yellow light around the room.
"It's your eighteenth birthday today. You are now an adult." Cheers rang out around the room.
"And tonight is even more special, as you are the youngest. As of now," he said, and paused, looking around, "we are all of age. It's time for you to learn some truths," he said, then smiling and looking around, "and to gain some experiences."
Darcy led him to a plush couch and sat beside him. Lucy sat on his other side, both of them sitting close, their thighs touching.
"Being the oldest, I will start," Robert said as he looked at his family.
"It began years ago, in a small studio apartment..."

"So," Tommy exhaled slowly as he looked down at his hands clasped together in his lap, "You're telling me my dad may not be my dad?"
Robert was sitting in a chair across from him, smiling warmly at his little brother. "What I'm saying is our dad will always be your dad. In every way that's important."
He paused, then went on, "But he might not be your biological father."
"Wow," Tommy said. He looked up into his brother's brown eyes. "Do we have the same father?"
Tommy's brows rose as he looked at his little brother. He noticed the differences, as well as the similarities. "I don't know," he said. "But does it matter?"
Tommy shook his head. "I don't know. Maybe not," he trailed off, thinking. "So who's actually related to who?" He looked around, seeing his siblings and cousins now in a new light.
Lucy spoke up. "We don't know for sure."
"We've talked about getting paternity tests," his big sister Shelly said.
"But then, we wondered... how would that make anything better?" Robert asked.
"I don't know," Tommy said slowly.
"Think about it. Have you ever felt unloved? That dad didn't care about you? Love you?" Robert looked at him.
"No," Tommy answered immediately.
"He's always been there for us. And our uncles. They've always loved us, too, right? Just as much as dad?"
Tommy nodded.
