August 1981
"What do you think Gus is up to?" Lois asked Stacy as they stood shoulder to shoulder in the small bathroom, doing their hair and putting the finishing touches on their makeup.
"No idea," Stacy muttered as she put on some mascara. "He wouldn't say a word. Yesterday was his day off, and he was out shopping for a few hours. He wouldn't say where he went, or what he bought. Said it was for tonight, that's all."
"Hmm, he's up to something," Lois said, then grinned. "Hope it's something sexy!" she giggled.
Stacy nodded, grinning into the mirror. "Knowing him, it will be."
He told them to meet him at seven at an upscale Italian restaurant they'd all wanted to try, but never felt they could afford.
Given the tight accommodation at the apartment, Gus had gone over to Mick's parent's house to get ready for his double date. Mick and Bob had gone with him, being in on his secret from the start. They'd annoyed Sam and Demi by not telling them what Gus was up to.
"Gus," Mick's mom called out to him. "That shirt is wrinkled. Let me iron it for you."
"Aw, that's okay. It's fine, thanks," Gus said, smiling at her.
"No, it's not," she said in her best 'mom' voice. "Hand it over." She held out her hand. He unbuttoned it and held it out. She went into the other room and he heard the creaking of the ironing board being set up.
Mick's dad walked by with a cup of tea and sat in front of the television, but not before giving Gus a sideways look.
"Is he mad at me?" Gus whispered to Mick. Bob was next to him and they all looked into the living room from where they were in the adjoining dining room.
"Nah," Mick said. "He's just not sure, you know?"
"You told him?" Gus asked.
"Yeah," Mick said simply. "He's gotten a lot better since I moved out. We can actually talk without fighting now," Mick chuckled.
"That's great, man," Bob said, patting Mick's back.
"Do your parents think I'm a creep, or something?" Gus asked, looking past Mick into the room where his mother was ironing his shirt.
"No. Mom is giddy. She loves what you're gonna do, and got all excited when I told her earlier today. She's a real romantic. They don't know she's your sister. They think she's an old friend."
Gus took a deep breath and gently shook his head. "I just hope this goes smoothly."
"It will, don't worry," Bob told him, smiling. "You got this."
"Thanks, guys. For everything."
"We got your back," Bob said simply.
"Brothers," Mick said.
"Brothers," Gus agreed.
Once he'd gotten himself looking the best he could, he waved as he left and got in his car. He drove over to the restaurant, bouncing in his seat and tapping on the wheel in time with the upbeat music.
He parked and got out, ensuring he had what he wanted in his jacket pocket. Walking in, he looked around and saw two of the most beautiful women in the world waiting on a bench near the entrance. They grinned at him and jumped up to greet him.
"Gus!" Stacy cried out as she bounced over to him. Her boobs moved alarmingly in her tight red dress, hair flowing behind her as she came over to him, wrapping him up and kissing him passionately.
Lois came up, looking equally spectacular in her black dress, and pulled him over, taking him from his sister and kissing him just as passionately.
After coming up for air, he chuckled and looked around. A few couples sat on benches, waiting for their tables. He spied a group of well dressed, older guys, probably in their mid-twenties, staring at him. One of them was leaning over and whispering something into his friend's ear.
Gus could just make out what they said. "Would you freaking believe that! Those two hotties are hanging all over him," he said in a hushed voice.
"I know! Did you see how their tits almost bounced out as they ran," the other said quietly, a broad grin on his face.
The third guy just sighed, and said wistfully, "I was gonna ask them if they wanted to join us."
The hostess called Gus' name and led them to a table near the back, out of the way where it was a little more quiet, making Gus happy he'd come by and made a reservation the day before.
"Gus!" Lois giggled. "What are we doing here?"
He just smiled at her. "What? I can't take the two most gorgeous females in the world out and show them off?" He looked at Lois in her tight black dress, her generous tits pushed up and almost overflowing. He wasn't sure, but he thought he might just see the start of brown where her areola would be.
Probably not. Wishful thinking, he chuckled to himself.
He looked over at his sister, her long, wavy hair perfect. She, too, was in a tight dress. This one was red, and claimed his eyes, drawing them to her, making them trace down her curves.
"Damn, sis."
She blushed and giggled. "You're not supposed to call me that in public," she whispered.
"Yeah, but it's kinky. I like it!" he said, leering at her. "You're so beautiful," he said to both of them. "I love you both, so much."
Just then, the waiter came by and tried to hide his glances at the bountiful bosoms on display as he took their drink order. Gus chuckled as he left. "Dang, you two are gonna give that guy a heart attack."
Their giggles and smoldering glances were driving up Gus' internal temperature. Waters arrived as they talked happily. Gus could not keep his eyes from wandering over the two luscious women seated on either side of him as the waiter took their orders. The waiter had the same issue as he struggled to keep his eyes on his order pad, and not on the two beautiful women in front of him.
"Is this what I have to look forward to?" Gus asked in a complaining voice. His grin gave him away.
"Fraid so," Lois chuckled.
"Yup," Stacy agreed and pushed her arms together, making her boobs almost, but not quite, pop out of her low-cut dress. Lois laughed and copied her, moving her arms up and down to make her tits bounce.
She looked over and saw the table near them. Two older couples, each about fifty years old, were there. The two men could see the girls clearly, but their companions were facing away. The looks on the men's faces made Stacy giggle and blush. One man winked at her surreptitiously, and she winked back. She looked over at Gus, who was laughing silently, his shoulders shaking.
"Oh, man. I don't know how I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with this kind of stuff going on," he said enigmatically.
Lois took a breath to ask him a question, but was interrupted by their meals showing up. A few other waiters had joined their server and took their time hovering over the girls, ensuring they had everything, and they meant everything they needed.
More time was spent with the fancy pepper grinder and fussing with their water glasses before they reluctantly filed away. Gus shook his head and laughed.
The meal was excellent and the conversation flowed easily. The three of them had bonded and were essentially one unit with three parts. None complete without the other two.
As their empty dishes were taken away by the small army of servers, still eager to please, Gus sat back and smiled at his girls.
Once they were alone, he looked at Lois, then at Stacy. Expectation hovered over the table as Gus reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out two small items. He placed them on the table, keeping them covered with his hands so the girls couldn't see what they were.
"You two," he began, "are the most important people in the world to me. I love you both with all my heart." He looked at Lois, who smiled warmly back at him. He turned and looked at his sister. She smiled at him and tilted her head, bringing her shoulder up in an endearing way.
"I've thought about this for some time, and realize there's only one thing I can do."
Both girls sat up straighter in their chairs and just looked at him.
He opened his hands, revealing two intricate, small boxes. He took one and flipped open the lid. Inside was a shimmering, white fabric holding something thin and gold. He took the other and opened it, setting them side by side on the table before him.
Gus heard the sharp intake of breath from both girls as they recognized what he had. Turning to Lois, he took her left hand and looked at her.
"I want you to be mine, for the rest of our lives. We're still young, but I know I'll never love anyone more than you."
He turned to his sister, and with his other hand took her left hand. He looked into her eyes and said, "Stacy, I've loved you since I can remember. Now, that means so much more than it did before when we were kids. I cannot imagine being without you. I love you with all my heart, just as I love Lois, and I want you to be with me forever."
He turned to Lois and smiled, then back to his sister.
"With these rings, I promise myself to you. To one day take you both as wives and be your husband. To make a family together, and to live with and love each other for the rest of our lives.
"That is, if you'll have me."
Both girl's hands flew to their mouths, and they started to cry. He looked at Lois, then at Stacy, not sure exactly what to make of their reactions. "Um...," he said hesitantly.
Lois was the first to react, and her left hand went quickly onto the table, fingers splayed. "Oh, you better believe it! I told you you'd never be rid of me!" she laughed, still getting over her tears of happiness.
He slipped a ring on her finger and took it to his mouth, kissing it gently.
"Ahem," he heard and turned, grinning at his sister. Her left hand was in front of him, fingers apart. Her brows were raised, and she grinned from ear to ear. "Don't forget me!" she said playfully.
"Never," he chuckled. He slipped the other identical ring on her finger and kissed it. The girls put their hands out, examining the gold ring from every angle. Embedded in the band was a small diamond surrounded by a beautiful, etched design. The effect was very elegant. The stone sparkled in the light hanging over the table.
Stacy jumped up and went around the corner of the table. She leaned over and pulled her brother to her, kissing him deeply. He put his arms around her and held her.
Lois' laughter got their attention, and she nodded over toward the table where the two couples were still seated. The men were clearly entranced by Stacy's lush posterior, wrapped up tight in her red dress, aimed right at them as she bent over, kissing Gus.
Stacy looked over and smiled at the men, who quickly turned away, obviously flustered. Lois stood and went around, claiming her kiss.
After paying the bill, they got up and were thanked by what seemed like all the male waiters on the way out.
As they passed by the table next to them, one of the older men asked them, "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be nosy, but did you... all... just get engaged?" He stumbled over the question, obviously not sure how to ask about what was clearly a three-way emotional event.
