Avinash Ninnad was a self-made billionaire. He was 42 years old and his wife Aarthi Ninnad was 38. She was the CFO of their company. They had a 6-year-old kid named Ayush at that time (Yes, our protagonist). Ninnad couple had their child at the later phase of their life after they became rich.
Both Avinash and Aarthi were good and responsible parents. Although money was not short with them, time was. They were not able to take good care of their kid with their busy lives and feared for his well-being. With their absence, he was too often silent and had been very inactive.
Aarthi expressed her sadness to her dear friend Navya. Navya understood her friend's troubles as Navya also had her own daughter the same age as Ayush. Her name was Anjali. Although Navya brought Bhavya to the city for her well-being, she thought Bhavya would help her take care of Anjali. Keeping this in mind, Navya gave an idea to Aarthi. Aarthi was curious.
Navya proposed an idea that Aarthi had no reason to reject. Navya proposed that Bhavya can babysit Ayush when his parents were busy. As already seen how friendly Bhavya was with Navya's kid Anjali, Aarthi took her time and discussed it with Avinash and finally, they all agreed Bhavya would babysit Ayush in their absence.
2 years later, bonding between Ayush and Bhavya started pretty rough. Ayush was dull and less active at first. But Bhavya was successful in making Ayush active and happy. But bonding between Ayush and his parents was getting weaker day by day. Looking at his happiness, they roamed around the world without worry and kept on developing their enterprise.
Bhavya was having successful years in her college too. Everything was going well until one bad day. Aarthi had caught a virus that was unknown to humankind in some remote forest during her charity event.
She was in observation for months. Her state was miserable. She was under quarantine from the day of her diagnosis. She was only allowed to look at her husband and son from a distance and was not permitted to touch them or come near them. Looking at his mother's state, the distance between them grew more, so much more that he did not feel connected to his mother. For him, Bhavya became everything.
Meanwhile, Navya's life was shattered too. Her husband had died in a fatal plane accident. She was left with her only daughter and her college-going sister. But Navya was strong enough to continue what her husband had started.
After the demise of his loving wife, Avinash had lost hope to live in this world. His only savior was his son Ayush. Due to his habits and state of depression, Avinash realized he might not live up to seeing his son grow. Feared of living his son alone in this world, Avinash decided to marry someone.
Avinash showed many suitable wives to his son so that he could accept anyone as his mother. But Ayush was reluctant to accept anyone as his mother.
Looking at the bond between Ayush and Bhavya, a dark idea popped up in his mind. It was to wed a 19-year-old Bhavya. Bhavya loved Ayush. They were inseparable. She was with him during their darkest days. If not for her, the state of Ayush would be unimaginable. Avinash was successful in convincing Bhavya, her sister Navya, and their parents in the village.
Avinash struck a deal with Navya and her parents in return for their marriage he would sponsor Bhavya's entire college fees. However, Bhavya agreed to marry Avinash on one condition only. That is, "Ayush will accept her as his mother and will address her as, Mom."
