"This is going to be exciting!" Mark was smiling over his whole face. They were finally visiting the newest and biggest Aqua Park in the world. He followed the construction of this megaproject since it was first announced seven years ago. It was something else. The whole Park was themed around a lost tribal high culture on a volcanic island. The resources behind this project where mind boggling, but it seems like the billionaire's of today can't be stopped with their prestige projects.
If Mark was honest to himself, he didn't care. What he cared about was the crown jewel of the park. The longest and wildest water slide in the world. It was going down and through the inactive volcano.
His parents won four tickets in a promotional lottery. They were happy to spend some vacation time together. The last year's had been pretty busy for them.
But for his part. Man he could not wait to experience this new wonder of the world.
"Everything packed John?" His father shouted through the hallway.
"Yeah, yea... give me a few more minutes, John is calling!"
"... What do you mean the doctor said no? Come on boy, you can't betray me like this. We waited for seven years!"
Angelica, Mark's mother, walked down the hallway with the rest of her luggage. There was her son sitting on the bottom of the stairs, shoulders down, both his hands over his face. Angelica took a deep breath, kneeled down and rested her right arm on Mark's shoulder. "What happened?"
"He can't come with us. It is his leg injury. His doctor said the risk is too high." It was just pure disappointment on Mark's face.
"It's Ok Mark. I will call your sister. I think you two have to spend more time together anyways."
"Wow, what a great replacement. You could also ask the Goblin living in the local cave."
"Don't be so rude Mark, do you even remember how she looks like? You will have an exciting time together. Trust me this vacation will be unforgettable." Angelica smiled gently at her son, took her luggage and went straight to the car where her husband Robin was already waiting for them. "Call your daughter! Tell her she's coming with us. John just cancelled the trip."
Robin knew his wife well enough to not ask any further questions and got his phone out.
"Hey darling, how are you how are your studies going?" Angelica looked at him and pushed her eyebrows up. "Good to hear... Anyways John cancelled the vacation and your mother thinks you should come with us... Ok, that was easy. We will be at your place in two hours."
Angelica was pleased. She shouted: "Hurry up Mark we are leaving!"
Alice could not believe it. Like a genie granted her a wish. She was beyond excited.
She had been so angry about her family going to vacation without her. Damn she felt completely excluded. Since she left home for college last year, at her twentieth birthday, it felt like she was not even part of the family anymore. Yeah, college life was great but she still missed the comfort of home and family. Alice smiled, she could not wait to annoy her stupid older brother. And that island actually sounded great. She could work on her tan for a whole week. Cocktails, sun, hot boys. Everything she needed right now.
"Alice, you had two hours to prepare. We are just gone for a week not a month. What is all that stuff?"
"Alright, Alright mom this is all. Hello to you anyways. Happy to see you too. Ohh and my wonderful brother, what a blessing to spend time with you again!" She pocket Mark in his stomach while smirking.
"I told you guys we should have taken the local goblin with us. Would have been way less trouble" Alice stuck her tongue out to her brother and of they went.
"This place is wicked!" Mark shouted, his mouth wide open. And indeed this was a side to behold. The hotel was completely themed. He had never seen anything like it. It looked like an ancient elven palace. Carved of the finest wood. Ornamented with great detail. It was magical.
Their parents did the check in, they went up the elevator. "The rooms supposed to have a balcony with direct view of the Aqua Park!"
"Mark you sound like a little kid. How old are you now 24? Shure you are not ten?"
"Mhh yeah my little sister all grown up now that she goes to college. Still a baby to me though!" If Mark was honest to himself Alice did grew up a lot. The last time he saw his little sister was three years ago. She looked good, like a woman. Actually really attractive. 'What the fuck are you thinking?' Mark lost himself in his thoughts.
"Knock, knock!" Alice tapped his head with her knuckles. "Are you done checking out your sister?" She smiled, "seventh floor let's get to the room."
"Wow the view is even better than I thought. Look at that slide. It is absolutely ridiculous. I am so fucking hyped!"
"Yeah I can see that. There is only one bed Mark!" Alice looked at him with this demanding face. She copied that from their mother.
"We can fix that problem in the evening, don't worry. Let's go to the park. I can't wait!"
"Easy boy. I still have to change and order my stuff."
"Ok, ok I am waiting in the lobby. Hurry up!"
Mark was amazed by the details of the theming. It was all so beautiful. The artworks, the furniture.
"Ready to go as I see, your mother and me will be sunbathing next to the great pool just join us when you had enough adventures. We will have everything you need at our place. Have fun!"
"Yeah see you later dad!"
There she was finally. Alice was wearing a yellow bikini. The bottom was tied together by two ribbons on each side. 'Fuck she looked sexy, she must workout in college. But why should he care, good for her.'
"Let's go! I don't care about all the other attractions for now let's go directly to the great slide!"
