Part One -- Linda leaves for work
"Are you sure you have everything dear?" Jon asked his wife as he looked at the several bags of luggage by the front door to their mansion the light glancing off of his glasses.
"Oh I sure hope so! Once I'm in out that door and in the taxi there is no going back" Jon's wife Linda said with a giggle moving her long red hair behind one of her ears.
She had been running around the mansion like a crazy person the last several hours trying to make sure that everything she needed for the next month or so was packed up in her bags. This business trip was a big deal to her and could mean a pretty big promotion in her company which she had been working to for a while now.
"Mom why do you have to go on this business trip so soon? You and Jon got married last week. You didn't even have a honeymoon yet!" Kaitlyn said from the second floor walkway.
Kaitlyn and her mother were very similar in looks despite Kaitlyn being 21 years old and her mother being 38. Both had long red hair and pale skin although Linda was covered in freckles while Kaitlyn's body seemed to have almost none. Kaitlyn was 5'3 which made her only an inch shorter than her mother but she was convince she would be able to beat her mother in height soon enough. They both also had light brown expressive eyes. As for their overall figured - Kaitlyn clearly took after her mother they both had curves in the right places and both rocked pairs of nice big tits. Being in her 20s Kaitlyn didn't dress as professionally as her mother -- which is a nice way of saying Kaitlyn was more open to showing skin and cleavage at almost all times.
"Linda I know my lifestyle is very new to you but I am filthy rich. You don't need to go on this business meeting -- in fact you don't even need to work if you don't want to." Jon explained knowing full well Linda already knew all this and still chose to keep her job and go on this trip.
"We will have that honeymoon when I get back. I promise and ill do whatever you want me to." She said with a wink and smile her red hair blowing in the breeze.
"Mom! Your child is right here I don't need those images in my head!" Kaitlyn shouted reacting to her mom's sexual comment.
"Okay -- I think that is everything!" Linda said sounding a bit exhausted.
Jon and Kaitlyn helped Linda with putting her luggage into the green colored taxi parked outside of Jon's three floor mansion which was now the home of this new family. Once everything was stacked in the car Linda gave her last farewells to her daughter and her new husband.
"You know I could have ordered a limo to take you to the airport -" Jon started to say only to be cut off my a kiss from Linda her hand running through his short brown hair.
"I guess I'm still getting used to all this" she said before getting into the taxi and it driving off leaving Jon and Kaitlyn in the driveway.
The two waved until the car was gone then turned back around and headed back inside their home. Linda's daughter headed right back up to her room which was insanely large compared to the one she had when her and her mother had to rent that apartment in the city -- It may have been larger than the whole apartment now that she thought about it. She was of course happy that her mother was able to find someone worth marrying instead of a deadbeat looser like Kaitlyn's father. She was also happy that the man Kaitlyn's mom ended up snatching off the market was super rich.
Jon headed back to his office on the first floor. He walked over to his desk and sat down looking back at his computer to check how business was going for the day and the projections for this quarter. He thought about how lucky he was to find a woman like Linda -- she was of course hot but also very sweet and he couldn't forget about how fun in bed she was and how kinky he had made her during their dating. He had a whole scheme planned for their honeymoon to really put the bow on top in more ways than one.
Part Two -- The New Normal
Fir the first week or so Kaitlyn felt strange being in this big mansion with no one but her new step-father. He was certainly nice enough and didn't bother her at all but she had only been living in this house a short time and now her mother was gone for a whole month. With the weather being so nice he had been going out with her friends a lot to park and the beach and tons of other places. Her new step-dad Jon was more than happy to give her some freedom and space as well as a goof amount of money for her expenses. She also tried to give Jon his space considering it was his home and he was very much used to the calm silence of living in his mansion all alone. Kaitlyn stayed away from his office and study room too just to make sure she didn't make him feel crowded.
Jon was used to being alone in his mansion. Linda and Kaitlyn had only been living in the house for a few weeks before Linda left on her business trip. Before getting married Linda and Kaitlyn had been over quite a bit and of course Linda spent more than a night or two over but being alone in the mansion was still basically the normal for Jon. Sometimes he had even forgotten that Kaitlyn was roaming around and been a bit surprised to bump into her in the kitchen or hallway. He had even accidently walked in on her in the bathroom once thinking he had heard and intruder. When he walked in on her in the bathroom she was in the middle of taking off her clothes to shower. She still had on her bra panties and top but even he couldn't deny how sexy she looked -- a trait she shared with her mother.
Kaitlyn had also chosen to wander around the mansion several times. She felt that each time she did she noticed something new. Sometimes she would notice something small like a new painting she had not seen hanging on a wall before. Other times he would find a whole new room that she didn't know existed. More than once she had joked to herself and her friends that she would love to have a full map of the mansion. During one of these mansion explorations of hers she found herself going down the stairs into the basement. There was a full furnished sports bar down there with flatscreen televisions and shelves of drinks with tables and chairs and so on. Branching off of this was a garage where Jon kept several sports cars and bikes and some luxury vehicles. Kaitlyn didn't know much about cars but she did know each one must have cost a small fortune. While looking around the bar she noticed a second door that was a bit hidden from view. It was under the staircase where most people probably would expect to see a door. She walked over to it and tried to turn the knob but the door was locked. Kaitlyn thought it was a bit odd but chose not to investigate further.
Jon was pretty new to this whole family thing and being a dad or in this case step-dad but he was willing to try. He had tried to give Kaitlyn all the space he thought a young woman would want including giving her some money to go out and have fun. Both he and Kaitlyn had a greed that at least one night a week while Linda was gone they would sit down for dinner together to just see how each other were doing. Tonight just happened to be that night. Jon and Kaitlyn sat across from each other and enjoyed the nice meal Jon had prepared. They had the standard small talk to start off their conversation.
