"Miki leaned in and whispered to Leon "They talk like the our twins." and giggled.

Vera was intrigued and said "Oh? These girls have a request of my husband? Do tell!"

Leon said "Well, they haven't actually made a request, just asked if I would do them a favor. Which is?..." He waited for the two to finish his sentence.

"To save our species." The said together. Leon was shocked. Miki was intrigued. Vera laughed and said "Oh, please tell me it involves breeding."

"Yes." They said. Vera laughed harder and wiped a tear. The twins gave her an offended look.

Vera said "Oh, girls! I don't mean to offend. In fact I am very excited already and I am sure Leon will do everything in his power to help you. We all will. I only demand that Miki and I get to watch."

Leon lifted an eyebrow at her. She scoffed and said "Oh, you'll be fine. We all know you will, ah, fill the holes in these poor ladies lives."

"Thanks, Vera, I think. What is it you girls need me to do?" He asked.

"To save our race from extinction." Said one.

"The males were stricken with an infertility virus during a recent war. Our population is only a dozen in number now."

Leon considered for a moment and asked "Okay, but why me?"

"We can sense a strong psychic aura or great power around you." One said.

"Your daughter Nila is very smart and could help solve our genetic conundrum." Said the other.

Leon looked and Miki, who was smirking and nodding, then to Vera, who also smirked and wiggled her eyebrow as she took a sip of her drink.

"And what would be in this for me?" Leon asked.

"Us. We will be forever bound to you, to serve and assist you in all of our capacities. Our abilities are quite formidable. All we have will be yours. Our species will forever be in your debt and will be eternally honored."

"You look mostly human. Is this how you normally appear?" Leon asked.

"No, we have special devices that hide our true forms under a hologram." Said Thalia.

"But we cannot show you here. Though we trust you, we don't know anyone else here and we fear our safety for good reasons." Said Dahlia.

"I completely understand. But that seems doable, though, I'm going to need to know more about this war and who it is with. For now, just enjoy the party. We can finish this later when it is more private. Will you be staying the night?" Said Leon.

"We would be honored, yes." Said Dahlia.

"And thank you, my lord, for your consideration." Said Thalia and the two bowed before turning back to the party.

"Those two are odd, aren't they?" Leon said.

Vera rubbed his shoulder and said "Yes, but babe! Can you believe it? Your first off world mission!

Leon sighed again. "Ah, buddy, this is a tough time in everyone your ages life. People's interests change. Their values. Friends come and go. You know what doesn't, though? Family.
