The Twins Weave: BK2: Chapter 2:
Recap from the end of the last chapter.
*Ian Cale character: Literotica Author: Intrepid Fate, Path of the Necromancer, last update 10/23/12, taking his amazing character and moving him forward in time approx. two thousand years. *Scraps: Revenant *Ember: The Succubus tied to Ian, both immortal as long as the other lives.
Things being added to the end of Intrepid Fates story: The Chinese attacked the United States through a magical back door that both sides knew about. Magical and Conventional weapons laid waste to just about everything. Only a few of the most powerful survived and then only the magical survived the 400 years of nothing before Ian helped shape the new age. He also recreated the Inquisition from the old age changing their charter from the rich and politicians to be for the people, over time they changed it to Inquisitors. A few cameo appearances, not going to be used as more than a tribute.
--------------------------------------
Falael showed up shortly after breakfast and we gathered in the room we met the night before.
"*Ian Cale was easy to find, he has been here since the capital was founded and has the largest account with us. I was surprised it was him, but there are no other Ian's to be found. He is said to be as old as I am or could be older, but there are no records from the last age. I've talked to him on occasion over the last forty years and each kingdom and Velho pay his account on the same day. He says it is their birthday gift."
"I can understand why he would be interested in recent events." Nora replies, "I am also surprised I've never heard of him considering how long I've spent in service and in the Library."
"Go early and get a jump on this?" Neivia asks the group. "Or go shopping and stress Falael a bit?"
Tahareesa smiles at Neivia after seeing her husband's scowl. "She's teasing you, dear, every other memory we saw was them teasing each other."
"Might as well go see what he wants," I stand up, "It might make our next steps a bit clearer."
"He lives due east from this square on the edge of the capital." Falael informs us, "A fair walk."
"Might as well get going then." Mother stands up so we all take the hint and get going.
We stop a quite a few shops along the way noting them for the way back when we or I can carry the items with us.
Ian's house has a small rock wall and a long walkway to his door. It opens when we get close, and a mostly naked "woman" is waving us in.
"Come on in, we've been expecting you!" She smiles at us though it seems as much predatory as it does welcome. She is exaggerated and flawless in every possible.
"Succubus," Nora says to us.
"Yes, but I go by Ember. Ian is downstairs, we've been watching you," Ember takes us through a living room and points for us to sit. "We've known about the conspiracy, though you fixed it when we weren't watching so there were just a few questions. But first," Ember winks at me, I can feel the pull to just go over and sit next to her, let her do what she wants.
"I should say, I've been watching you since you started all of," She waves down the line, "this. You and Ian started out the same way for opposite reasons, but he never thought to grab his mom on the way out, probably due to his age, but you, I could just adopt you with how you did it." I look over and my mother is beat red which causes me to turn back on Ember.
"Stop that dear," Ember waves to Mother, "You got the best possible outcome. You would have lost both of them if James didn't step up, and now you have literally everything you ever wanted."
"James, Ian is waiting downstairs, over there." She points, but I am not leaving with it this tense.
"Ladies, stay, I'm going to get some details on what I deem important, like who is next? Abi, Neivia, Cassandra, Mazarine?" She laughs and claps her hands and turns back around. "Ah, you are still upset about the earlier comment. "Cassandra, I apologize for the earlier comment, as a Succubus that was a compliment and might have sounded crass to humans."
Cassandra shrugs at Ember, "you caught me off guard with the first part as it's been a crazy week. I agree with the outcome though." She looks at Abi and Me and nods her head. "Can't complain about this."
"Great." Ember smiles and looks over at me, "better? Now go downstairs, we'll be fine."
"Better?" Are you kidding me, I almost laugh though when I imagine her talking to me like she's my mother and then realizing how many mothers were sitting with me, and she sounded just like them... I notice Ember's puzzled expression when I smiled and almost laughed.
"Nevermind," I put both hands up, "I understand what you meant." Standing up and looking over at mother, "No complaints here." I look down the row at all of them and turn towards the door to the stairs.
"Soooo, I can't touch James, but, it's his cum that makes you so addicted to him?" Ember asks with a radiant smile and leans forward for the answer.
I turn in the doorway and see all their faces looking at me.
"Nope, I am not." I turn and walk down the stairs. I don't believe that's the case as most of the beginnings had no sex involved.
At the bottom of the stairs is a very large room that is dreary and full of odd equipment that I've never seen. There is one guy working and another reading in the far corner.
"Ahh, James, we saw you heading our way." Ian steps away from his table. "I was able to read the document they signed, was it a complete report?"
"Yes, it went better than expected." I stop at a comfortable distance.
"Good, you already removed the previous Velho leadership, what is your take on the kings? I haven't looked at them since their great grandparents, and this lot seems less fit to reign."
"I didn't want to cause that kind of chaos in every kingdom at the same time, but, Amice and Harold would be a much better
choice for my old home, I have no idea on the other three," I reply.
"Hmmm, I set the Inquisition up to prevent this, it was bound to run into issues after a few hundred years I guess." Ian taps a paper on his desk.
