Authors note: The characters, places, names, and such are not to be used, copied, or such actions without the permission from the author. Any places, names, descriptions of real life people, places, and such is pure coincidental. Much effort has been placed in keeping everything in this series very original as possible. This story contains, scenes of sex, violence, and use of magic. Let it be noted that all characters engaging in sexual activities are of legal age of consent. Edit Note: I apologize for the mistakes in the first chapter. I don't have anyone that I feel I can just hand my work over to that has the time to go over my work. So I decided to use an online grammar check service. It may not fix everything, but something is better than nothing. There's another story I spent nearly ten years working on the first book, that I'm debating on posting. We will see. Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading my work.
CH.2
Jack had woken up in a hospital. He finds that he's hooked to a heart monitor, a blood pressure cuff, and has a breathing apparatus in his nose and mouth. His arm is connected to a line attached to a water intravenous bag. He feels weak and hungry. He feels jolts of pain in his left arm and leg. He sees the call button and fights to get his arm up so he can manage to push the button. Eventually, a nurse enters the room to see who had pushed the button and is shocked to see Jack is awake. "Try not to move; let me go page the on-call doctor. I'm glad you were able to wake up. Be right back. Try not to move, alright? And don't mess with the breathing apparatus," she says, and Jack nods and confirms her request.
Jack tried to hold onto the dream he'd just woken up from, but it was like something was eating up the memory. Soon he'd completely forgotten about it. Soon several nurses and a doctor entered the room and checked on Jack. Pokes and squeezes were soon felt all over his body along with lights shining in his eyes. The doctor orders a battery of tests to be done and then asks Jack if he remembers his name. Jack shook his head yes and whispered, His name is Jack Thompson. The doctor asked what date he thought it was. Jack tells him the last date he remembered. The doctor smiled, saying, "Good. Very good." The doctor then asks what was the last thing Jack could remember before waking up.
Jack thinks a moment, trying to remember. "There was a dead baby, and I heard someone. No, it was two people trying to talk, but they had gargling and gasping noises in their voices. I... I remember trying to wake up Sarah. Sarah! What happened to Sarah? Is she okay?" Jack panics, triggering the heart monitor to set off an alarm. The doctor tells Jack to calm down while he cancels the alarm. "Jack, I need you to calm down and listen, alright? Take some deep breaths. Inhale through your nose. Hold it. Alright, exhale through your mouth. Do it again. Alright." The doctor got away from the side of the bed. He tells Jack that someone will be here soon to talk with him. The doctor avoided answering the question, and Jack saw the look on the doctor's face for that split second before becoming neutral again. The doctor leaves after the nurses, and ten minutes later the mother of Jessica's friend Kendra Lebas, Jillian Lebas, enters the room. Jack was friends with Kendra, but she was more so Jessica's best female friend. Jillian was a registered nurse working at the hospital Jack was in.
Jillian was mainly of a quarter French Caucasian, a quarter Spanish, and half African American. She was about five feet and six inches tall. She had a healthy, thick body. Her creamy, dark-tan skin was as shiny as her short, brown hair with blonde highlights that came down to her ears. She had a dark, creamy, gold eye color similar to that of her daughters. Her breasts, hips, thighs, and ass were large and thick in the right proportions. Her body screamed milf. He'd been by her house one day to return a baking pan set, and she'd been out swimming in their pool. The bikini she wore had become transparent, revealing her dark nipples and the trimmed patch above her crotch. He remembered something about her being from an area that was heavy in some sort of pagan religion of sorts. He remembered seeing a deck of tarot cards, candles, and crystals on the table by her lounge chair. Today she was wearing blue nurse scrubs and tennis shoes. She sat on the chair next to Jack after hugging him. "I'm glad you're finally awake, Jack. The girls are going to be thrilled to hear that you're awake again." She said in her English Cajun accent. They'd moved from Chalmette, Louisiana, when Kendra was fourteen. They never really gave a real reason why they moved, but they said they needed a change of scenery.
She has a sorrowful look in her eyes. "Jack, I need you to try and stay calm with what I'm about to tell you. It is some terrible news, but I would rather be the one to tell you rather than you find out after you get out of here. I'll be blunt with what I'm going to say, and I am sorry I'm having to say this to you at all. I really am. Just try and hold it together until I'm done, okay?" She asks, and Jack gets a sick feeling in the bottom of his stomach as he says alright. "Jack, on the day of the accident, Sarah passed away on impact. The medical examiner said that she didn't suffer at all." Jillian began saying. "What about the baby and the gurgling I remembered hearing?" Jack asked.
She looked confused. "Jack, you and Sarah were the only two in the car. There weren't any babies or children. It had to be your mind making up things. But back to what I was saying. She died on the scene. You were touch and go for a while yourself, but obviously, you managed to pull through. You do have severe nerve and bone damage to your left arm and leg. They were broken in multiple places, and some bone fragments are still lodged in there in a bad way. Along with that, there's some nerve and muscle damage that couldn't be fixed, unfortunately. You had debris that stabbed through you as well in several places. Even with therapy that you'll be getting, anything short of a miracle, you might get some mobility back, but you're going to need assistance more likely than not to get around and maybe everyday life. Hopefully, therapy will help. But that road won't be easy." She says, rubbing his right leg. Jack's eyes began to tear up quickly. He felt the agony building within him.
