The League of Planets

This is basically an erotic love story and of course all characters are over 21. It will definitely not start out as a love story, but it will get there. The League of Planets Series contains BDSM, bondage, exhibitionism, and lots of kinky sex. If you don't like these things then this story may not be for you. Please vote often (fives are most welcome) and of course please leave constructive comments.

PS - This is the third entry in the League of Planets series. This will be the last of the Space Station Venus Series and will be available for purchase as a complete series.

If you have fantasies, ideas, etc for new stories please let me know, that includes twists on existing stories and I will see what I can do. Many of my stories have started out that way.

Chapter 9

John woke to Lisa snuggled next to him and this was a great way to wake up. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her tight against him. He knew he needed to get up and check on the war, but a couple of minutes more would do wonders for his mood. Lisa preened against him and almost purred as he held her, then his phone rang and their peaceful morning was gone. John kissed Lisa, then rolled out of bed.

Wes was on the phone and caught him up on what was happening. The Berserker's had stopped their advance after receiving John's message and currently they seem to be considering what to do. Meanwhile, the attack ships in the asteroid trap area were successful in devastating the Berserker fleet that went after the trap domes. Several ships were left in the area for any cleanup with missed Berserkers and they began scavenging the Berserker ships for weapons and technology. The majority of the League ships were on their way back at maximum warp and should have a picket line of attack ships behind the Berserker fleet in about 12 hours.

John was pleased but asked the question, "Have we received any communication from the Berserkers?"

Wes answered "No, nothing. They are still sitting in an attack line and haven't moved or communicated at all. We don't know what is going on."

John stared at the screens and maps. At this point he didn't know if there was anything else he should be doing, so he put the question out there, "Okay everyone what should we be doing. We warned them and they stopped. What does that mean and what should we be doing?"

Several people shrugged their shoulders but Bahati spoke up, "They have not left so we should attack and soon as our attack fleet returns."

John knew that Bahati was a warrior, so he expected that kind of response. A Koresh member spoke up and added, "They have already attacked our trap domes. So, we are within our rights to attack them but need to wait for our fleet to return."

Everyone started nodding their heads and John was surprised no one objected. John scanned the room and then made a decision, "Okay, if they are still in an attack line when our ships arrive, we will attack. Once we attack, we must wipe them out completely. Is everyone in agreement?"

Everyone in the conference room nodded their heads with a few shouts of, "Kill them, kill them all."

John really didn't like the blood thirsty shouts but understood that most all members of the League had been attacked by the Berserkers before and didn't want any more repeats. "Okay, we will reconvene as soon as our attack fleet arrives."

With that John left the room and went home to be with his family. Everyone gave him hugs then Erika and John Junior left to be with their friends. Lisa and John had a light meal, then snuggled on the bed. John's mind was spinning and Lisa snuggled up to him trying to calm him and show him that he is loved. Eventually, John relaxed and fell asleep.

John woke with large vibration traveling through the hull and knew that the Berserker's had not really accepted their terms and were attacking. He jumped out of bed, gave Lisa a loving look and ran to the League's conference room. Immediately upon arriving he saw red splotches on the video monitor and queried, "What is going on?"

Bahati answered, "We have explosions, that we assume are bombs going off in every dome. Since we have not tracked any missiles, phasers or lasers coming our way we sent teams to investigate. But at this point we can only assume that we have saboteurs that have infiltrated the domes and set off domes in the domes. So far ten bombs have gone off but damage has been limited because of automatic sealing of compartments you implemented after the revolution."

John looked at the screen asking, "How far away are our attack ships and are they in range?"

Wes answered, "They are still two hours away for optimal range but we have some transwarp missiles on several ships that can fire now."

John looked at Wes and ordered, "Do It! Add in all the attack vessels we have in the League's core area. Shoot everything, we have available." Then turned to Bahati and ordered, "Find and kill all saboteurs!" He turned to the Koresh ordering, "Get work parties organized and start fixing the damage, starting with the most serious."

Everyone burst into action and John watched as more explosions lit up the computer screen. He wondered out loud, "How did a group of vandals get into the domes and plant these bombs?" No one had an answer, so John turned to the Reon member and ordered, "Patch me into one of the attack ships that searched the Berserker ships for technology."

The Reon began attempts to communicate with the attacker ships. Communication was slow but was established just as the first transwarp missile took out a Berserker ship. More ships began to explode as John asked the attack ship, "Did you guys find any technology that might allow the Berserkers to hide bombs?"

"This is Steve onboard the ship Alamo. We did not find anything that hid bombs, but we did find a crude teleportation device. It can teleport items but not living things. Based on what we found they could be teleporting bombs into the domes."

John knew he had the answer, "Everything that has defensive or offensive capabilities, fire on the Berserker ships. We need everyone to search all the domes for foreign looking devices that could be bombs, then dispose of them."

The orders went out to search all the domes as the monitor showed streaks of missiles, plasma rays and lasers all attacking the Berserker fleet. After the first couple of Berserker ships exploded the Berserker fleet broke apart with three ships heading to each dome. They began firing on the domes with what appeared to be some kind of plasma torpedo, powerful lasers and conventional nuclear missiles. Every dome took some damage, but the domes intercepted the missiles while the attack fleet began to rain destruction on the Berserker fleet.

All that changed when a remote dome exploded in a nuclear fireball. No one had seen a missile hit the dome, so John assumed that the bomb must have been transported to the dome. Everyone looked at John and he reiterated, "We have to find all the bombs that are being transported into the domes and quickly!"

John looked at a Jagjeet, Reon and Koresh representatives and asked, "We have fairly good shields, so how are the Berserkers able to transport through our shields and get bombs into our domes?"

Everyone looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders. The Jagjeet representative answered, "During our last battle with the Berserkers our shields were effective and that saved us from annihilation. We can only think that they improved shields and adapted their weapons to penetrate our shields. They did not have the transporters back then, so as they built the transporters, they made them capable of penetrating out shields."

Just as Jagjeet responded the Reon reported that they found three bombs, but all inactive. Everyone looked at each other with confusion on their faces. Bahati ordered one of the Jagjeet bomb technicians in each dome to inspect the bombs, disarm and dispose of any they can. Everyone else was watching the battle and every minute or so either a Berserker ship, a League ship or a League dome would show explosions.

Not all the explosions were catastrophic but everyone caused significant damage. All the Berserker nuclear devices were saved for the domes, but then one of the larger Berserker ships exploded in a nuclear fireball. Everyone looked shocked and wondered why they would attack one of their own ships.

It was then that Bahati reported, "We have found four unexploded bombs, all low yield nuclear. They didn't explode because their circuitry was scrambled. We can only assume that the crude transport device somehow messed up the transportation pattern and broke some of the internal circuits."

Bahati, John and almost everyone in the room looked at each other, then John uttered what everyone else was thinking, "Their technology isn't as formidable as we thought."

John turned to Bahati and asked, "Can we fix the circuits and somehow launch the bombs back at the Berserkers?"

Bahati talked to several of his technicians and then reported, "We have to look at each bomb. Some are too screwed up to be fixed, while others are not. The ones we can fix we can launch as a warhead on some of our missiles." After a short conversation with his techs he added, "They are working on that now."

Everyone watched as the battle unfolded. The encircling Berserker ships were down from three ships to one or two ships per dome and they were only marginally covering their flank. Meanwhile, the asteroid attack ships had arrived and were taking out the Berserker ships from behind. John was feeling optimistic and it appeared that the Berserker were not as tough as had been predicted.

Still, he wasn't ready to declare victory, but then the largest Berserker ship exploded in a nuclear flash and then a second Berserker ship followed the nuclear explosion. Bahati grinned at John giving a fist pump while stating, "We are sending their own weapons back at them."

Ships kept exploding until there were only a couple of dozen Berserker ships left. They began to transmit a surrender request and John called for a cease fire. Bahati and several other council members looked at John with anger and shouted, "We said we would kill every last one of them, so let's make our word reality."

John looked at everyone individually and while a couple were on his side, the majority of the room was out for blood and they wanted the Berserker's removed from the universe. Now John had a quandary and he had to decide whether to go with genocide and wipe out the Berserkers or find a way to let them live and co-exist. It was obvious that the group in the conference room would vote for the genocide.

John cleared his throat and stated, "Keep an eye on the remaining ships and if they make an aggressive move, blow them away. In one hour, we will reconvene for a vote on what to do with the Berserkers. I will give the reasons to let them live and someone needs to give a case for genocide."

John walked over to the Reon and asked, "I need to speak to the leader of the Berserkers, privately. Please set it up in my office and quickly."

John adjourned to his office and spent the next half-hour there. After his conversation with the Berserkers, he left and went home to talk to his wife and kids. His family was behind him 100 percent and it felt good to talk everything over with his family. He gave them all a hug and kiss and as he turned to leave, he gave them all a loving look and a smile.

As he reentered the conference room an hour later, he had a determined look in his eyes. Everyone took their seats and to John it was obvious that most had already made up their minds. However, he was determined to make them think rather than jump to an emotional decision.

Bahati of the Jagjeet spoke for genocide, "This is simple for me. Berserker's have never given quarter and have slaughtered anyone that gets in their way for the last few centuries. The combination of larger numbers and merging of all our technology is the only reason we are holding our own. Now is the time to rid the universe of the Berserkers. They can't be trusted and their words are always lies. They need to be destroyed as a race and this may be our only chance." Then he sat down satisfied that he had said his piece.

John looked around and about half of the room was nodding in agreement. He began, "I know that all of you have more history with the Berserkers than I do, but I called them after our last discussion and asked them to see if we have any common ground. I think we do and work out some kind of peace treaty."

"Most of their warrior leaders have been killed and the leaders that are left are not the leaders that led many of the wars. There are still warriors among them but the vast majority of the population is tired of war. What they would like is two domes to live in as part of the League. If you agree to the broad concepts, we can have a conference and write -up a membership agreement."

"Everyone has come here, joined the League and has been given a second chance. At this point I believe that the Berserkers warrant a second chance, just like all of us had. The devil is in the details, but when I talked to their current leaders, I really got the impression that they really wanted a second chance. Like I said earlier, I don't know them like you do, but I do believe that every species has its good and bad points, also everyone can contribute to the overall good. So, if this council is willing to talk with their leaders, we can set up a conference call so that our leaders and their leaders can converse. "

"My suggestion is to set up a conference call in the next hour where everyone can ask all the questions of the Berserkers they want. Three hours from now We will have a vote on whether to allow the Berserkers League membership or destroy the Berserker fleet along with the entire species."

John scanned the crowd and thought he may have persuaded enough of the delegates to at least listen to the Berserkers. John waved his hand to the Reon, signaling the start of the conference call. He left the room long enough to get a cup of coffee and then sat in the back of the room to listen to the League and Berserker discussion.

After about two hours the questions subsided and John went to the podium to dismiss all the delegates and tell them in an hour the vote would take place. The Berserkers understood that the vote for their existence would take place in an hour. As John walked back to his apartment he wondered if the Berserkers would launch an all or nothing preemptive strike before the hour was up. He called Bahati and told them to be ready for the Berserkers to strike ahead of the deadline. If they did everyone agreed that they could not be trusted and should be eliminated.

When John arrived at his apartment his children were with their friends and this could be the last opportunity for him to enjoy Lisa's succulent body. For the next hour he and Lisa made love like it may be the last time. As a result, he was five minutes late to the final vote.
