That flare knocked out our main stabilizing controls and sent us on a collision course with the planet you call Mars. I was able to gain some control of the vessel just in time to avoid Mars, but ended up crashing on Earth. Unfortunately, my partner, Sunsearey was killed."

Louise said defensively, "I was only trying to protect you Shankar. I knew that there was something not right about him. Besides I thought you would be happy to have things back the way they were."
