Chapter 29
"Commander, what can our families bring with them?" Captain Moa asked.
"For it to be real, only what they can carry. You need to get it done within the next 12 hours." Tim replied.
All three Targkeleaxs looked at each other and nodded their heads. They started to get up. As they moved, the soldiers all around them raised their weapons.
"That's all right, they are our friends now. Show them the way back to their ship."

"Tim, before the Super Dreadnought vanished, I hacked into it. We have a lot of intelligence and maps of their system and other systems they've visited. I have sent the files to Tawni." Areyaka said.
"Thanks, maybe there are some things there we could use. How did you do on the Federation's ships?"
"Those were the easy ones; their systems are the ones we used for our lessons. We captured their entire data files."

"Tim, if you would like to go down to the sickbay. There's somebody down there to see you." Sarha appeared next to Tim as she said this.
Tim looked at her. "Who's in sickbay?" He wrinkled his brow, just wondering what the mystery is about.
"You will have to wait and see."
Tim left the bridge and went straight to sickbay. As he entered the door, Madlyn pointed him to the right. Now with a puzzled look, he headed in that direction.
He turned into the second cubicle. There stood Deniece and Wendy. "Is everyone OK?"
Deniece pointed to the bed. Sitting on the edge was David with his right arm in a sling and a cast from his wrist to just above the elbow.
Tim walked to David's side. "Hey, big boy, are you all right?"
With his head lowered, a sad face and a few teardrops on his cheek, David said, "I fell off the top of the mountain."
Tim turned and looked at Deniece. She nodded her head, but she had a smile.
"You fell from the top of the mountain and only broke your arm? Boy, that's great. The last guy to fall from there, we picked him up in about fifty pieces. You must be the toughest guy around."
"But, it hurts." David held up the arm, using the left hand to get it into the air.
"Well, you did break it. Did Doctor Madlyn tell you that you would be OK?"
"Yes, but it still hurts." David looked at his mother. "Mom, don't laugh."
"Sorry, son, but to fall from the top of the mountain and only break your arm, Tim's right, that's great."
Tim sat next to David; he took out his pen and signed his name on the cast. "Only friends wishing you the best get to sign."
"When will it quit hurting?"
"I'll see if the doctor can give you some painkillers if it's OK with your mother." Tim looked towards Deniece, who nodded her head.
Madlyn came in and gave David a pill, and Deniece a bottle of pills, to be taken as needed.
"Tell me, how did you fall?"
"Sadris and I were climbing. It was snowing like crazy, and we could hardly see in front of our faces. We were almost to the top, and my foot slipped. I fell all the way down. There was a sharp pain in my right arm, and I couldn't use it. Sadris saved me; he ran and got help."
"I must award Sadris a medal of bravery for saving your life."
Doctor Madlyn turned to look at David, "David, you will not be able to climb or play anything for a few days. I need you to keep your arm in the sling."
"But, doctor, it's the best time of the year to climb that mountain, and somebody else will beat me to the top."
"Tim, I need you to put the mountain off-limits for the time being. Could you do that?" Madlyn turned with a grin.
Struggling to keep a straight face, Tim replied, "Yes, doctor, if it will keep everyone from ending up here or not being found until early spring. I can do that."
David's face lit up now. He thought, '
he and Sadris could still be the first ones to the top.
'
"David, I have to get back to the bridge, and there is a misunderstanding between two giant forces, and they want to destroy each other." Tim walked by David, and messed up his hair. And said, "But if you need me, call."
Tim started out the door. Deniece approached him, "Tim, thank you, it means a great deal to David that you came to see him."
"That's OK, he's a great kid. I enjoy being with him."
Deniece leaned over and kissed Tim's cheek. "Thanks Again!"
Deniece thought about the meeting with Tim at her house and wanted to ask Tim, "Tim, could Miss C and I have a meeting with you about our business tomorrow?"
"Sure, how about ten in the morning?"

The three Captains were returned to their ships and told they had twelve hours to prepare the families.
As soon as they got back, they called a meeting of the ships' captains. Each Captain was asked to prepare the crew, knowing that if one ship fired at the Federation ships, the Federation would return fire on all ships and not quit until all were dead.
All other individuals would be in one area. If anyone disagreed with these orders, they were to be placed in the brig. All family members were to be placed on a ship, only the family members, and no crew.
