I had a distinct impression that some of these might well be good prospects for eventual conversion. I now had roughly eight thousand converts or thereabouts in the Miami-Dade area, plus another sixteen thousand throughout Florida, so far. It was an exponential growth, no doubt aided by social media, a vacuum or void among the populace, and my growing celebrity or fame or infamy or whatever. I also had a small following in England, Scotland, and Wales, but just how large or small was hard to say. King Charles III had indicated a desire to convert, which could be interesting on a constitutional level, given the role of the Church of England. This had probably assisted the growth of my new sect as well, though just how much wasn't clear yet.
When the trick or treaters in the area were done, and there was still some candy left, we all sat to watch the news and maybe a movie later for the moment. We were all still dressed in our Halloween gear now, but as supper was finished, along with plenty of beer, wine, and liquor, clothes had a tendency to come off, naturally. I soon found my cock being sucked by Lisa and Michelle together while they both, alone among us, remained in their costumes. That was one helluva power and ego trip, of course!
"In the latest news, York has been captured by the New Royal Army, with considerable aid from local sympathizers, with much of the local population hostile to the New Order regime. The fall of York Minster, in which the local New Order party and civil administration surrendered at last, was the last stand of the regime against the invaders. Lord Mayor Mia Barnes, Council Leader Adeline Pearson, and Chief Operating Officer Nevaeh Griffiths, along with the rest of the cabinet and other principal members of the local Unitary Authority, have been interned by the New Royal Army gendarmes for the present and until further notice.
"The new military governor of the City of York, Major General Casper Burke, has imposed a 6 pm to 6 am curfew throughout the municipality and territory in question, confiscated all small as well as heavy arms held by the New Order insurgents, ordered their indefinite detention, now suspended habeas corpus with the full approval of the Crown, and issued immediate decrees implementing the Orders-in-Council reversing all New Order legislation at once. Technically, this is a suspension, but it's obviously permanent. Burke has made it quite apparent that those who are responsible for implementing New Order statutes will be barred from holding public office for the foreseeable future and 'will otherwise be held culpable as well as liable for their crimes against the good people of this realm.'
"Reading between the lines, I think that one can predict that very draconian measures will be taken against the New Order leadership, and not just in York. The King has made it clear to all and sundry that he will not brook any compromise with said regime, as he considers them to be rebels against the lawful authority of the Crown. Also, he believes himself, through his reserve powers, to be fully entitled to take whatever measures and actions are necessary to set things right in the UK.
"This is an emergency the likes of which this country hasn't seen since the Second World War, and arguably since the English Civil War or the Glorious Revolution. Drastic measures are arguably required to correct the extreme consequences of bad public policy. Simply put, the King is behaving as an autocrat and the country seems willing to accept the necessity of such a royal dictatorship, at least for now, as a necessary correction of the bizarre, reckless, and quite tyrannical government imposed by the New Order Party. It's clearly an ominous sign for the folks in London, to be sure.
"In other news, the New Order government has declared Leeds an open city and urged the New Royal Army to 'spare its population any of the atrocities to be expected from male-dominated decision-making,' in its own words. A leading spokeswoman for the New Order, speaking from Whitehall, also denounced the 'Anglo-American cultist Bruce Alton and his 'pick-me wife,' Nina Kaur for 'founding a dangerous cult and moving or influencing Scots, Welsh, and Irish troops to attack Mother England.' She also labeled Alton, Kaur, and the rest of the Assembly of Light church as 'ruthless cultists eager to exercise undue influence on the usurper Charles.' They further announced the abolition of the monarchy and the Crown, as 'a vestige of the patriarchy best left in the past.' That is clearly a move of desperation, but I sincerely doubt that too many Britons will be moved by such rhetoric," the newsman, Magnus Reder, informed us now.
"Have we reached out to Mr. Alton and company lately for comment?" the newswoman, Gabriela UreΓ±a, turned to her colleague now.
