"As suddenly as the deaths started, they stopped. People stopped dying from the Doom but it had more in store for humans. By January 2066 it was obvious that there were no live births anywhere in the world. Tests established that none of the women were fertile. Efforts to treat the eggs with gene therapy failed with horrible side effects including breast collapse or massive growth, uterine prolapse and unstoppable bleeding.
