Osa wakes up in a large luxurious bed with silk sheets, and wooden posts in each corner. The room is make of stone with two think slits for windows, and an unlit fireplace on one wall. A group of five instrumentalists come out and set up along the front wall. As people in the centre stand, their chairs are taken away, but the chairs along the walls are left in place.

When the three people on the stage stand their chairs and mooed to the back of the stage. A set of steps are brought in and placed against the stage on the side nearest the single men. The male leader offers Osa his hand, as not to be rude, she places her hand in his, and he escorts her to the centre of the room. He nods to the band of musicians and they begin to play. The leader shows Osa a few simple dance steps, which she emulates quite easily, then they begin to dance.

Nobody else dances, they just watch. When he changes his style, Osa adapts quickly, keeping up with him. When they finish the crowd applauses and then fills the surrounding floor. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a large blue gem on a silver chain, he opens the chain and gestures to place it around Osa's neck. Osa turns around and he drapes the chain around her neck and clasps it.

The moment the gem is resting on her chest, Osa become away that she can now understand the language of the people surrounding her. She spins around and looks at the leader, and he says confidently, "I am the high prince Rindell, and my sister princess Keela. You have been brought her to be made my consort."
