Osa and the Magic War

The Fall of Pride pt 3

As the battle flairs, Amy transforms her Bark and leaf armor, iron wood battle staff, and vine whip to resemble a walking tree. At the same time Ekina takes the form of a bear, and Osa transforms her Zentai into spiked armor. As Osa, Ekina, and Amy move into the room, three of the Redmen break off from the group and move to engage each sorceress. The final Redman singles out Adunbi as the strongest fighter amongst the warriors.

The warriors battle the Orangemen in a defensive formation, taking down Ornagemen one by one, until there are only 11 Orangemen facing off against the nine dark warriors from the southern continent. As the warriors begin to feel like they are going to win this fight very soon, the twenty Orangeman that had been dosed with the dizziness and blindness pollens recover and join their brothers. This puts a barrier between the warrior and the four sorcerers, cutting each other off from sight and any potential help.

Adunbi, fully charged with the power of the earth, and the Redman he is fighting, are tossing each other around like a pair of super men. Trading punches, that would shatter the bones of other men, send each other slamming into walls and smashing threw stalagmites, and causing small cracks in one cavern wall or another, every time one of them collides with one.

Amy, in her tree form armor, fights against the Redman that has singled her out. With several branches she is able to block and swat aside every attack he attempts to hit her with, while also using vines of all sizes to lash at his flesh and entangle his limbs. At first, he is able to bull himself free by snapping the vines apart, but Amy compels those parts to grow and wrap around his ankles, then reattach to her tree. While simultaneously, Amy is able to recapture his arms, neck and torso with several more vines. His struggle threatens to snap those vines apart, so Amy commands those vines to grow roots into his skin be for he can free himself. She then has causes smaller vines to grow across his face and torso, and into his open wounds, nose, and mouth where they also burrow in and take root. She has him so thoroughly bound he can no longer resist. Finlay, Amy uses her magic to make the plants fully infuse with her Redman, replacing blood with sap, bone with wood, and soft tissue with vines and leaves, even the brain is completely rebuilt with dense moss and spores. This takes some time, but when she is done, she has a fully autonomous green plant man at her command.

Ekina, much like her brother, is in a bitter fight, but her fight is much less destructive. The Redman rushes at her and she shifts to a rat to duck under, then as he steps pass she shifts into a tiger, and rips at the flesh on his back with her fangs and claws. He grabs her and throws her, she shifts an elephant to resist the impact, causing more cracks in the cavern structure. She turns into a ram to charge and leap at him, then into a scorpion as she lands on his body and injects him with poison, and then an eagle to fly away. He rushes at her and she turns in to a monkey and jumps and leaps all over the place, as he chases her and becomes fatigued and causes the poison to rush threw his body, causing him to eventually to fall over, paralyzed. Ekina returns to her normal form, the uses her magic to suck the air from his lungs that, combined with the paralysis, causes him to suffocate to death. She then uses her magic and blows the pain pollen to wards the fifty Orangemen surrounding Adunbi's outnumbered nine warriors, twenty of them fall to the ground, incapacitated from nerve wracking pain.

A Redman charges at Osa, who shifts her Zentai into spiked armor. When he slams into her, he bowls her over and takes several more steps past her. He looks to see the spikes on Osa's Zentai had barely scratched him as he comes to a stop. The Redman turns just in time to see Osa getting to her feet, facing him. Confident that he can beat her, the Redman grins and puts his hands together, cracking his knuckles, when wall of fire erupts around him, obstructing his view and the heat begins to burn at his flesh. Quickly, he attempts to escape the heat by leaping threw the fire, only to land on an icy patch of floor, he stumbles and slides forward, before gaining his footing as his bumps into something. Looking down he realizes he bumped into Osa, and there are several long spikes that have pierced through his body, his blood oozing out and running down toward his foe. He feels her retract the spikes, and a coldness washes over him as he collapses to the ground and darkness fills his vision.

Osa looks up from the body of the Redman she just beat, and sees that the warriors from her village are not doing well. She begins casting a spell when she sees the Yellowmen step aside for Prince Rindell, dressed in noble battle armor similar to the one John took from the noble's castle, but the prince's has magical ruins inscribed on it. Osa also remembers that the armor John is wearing is lightly magical without having any arcane runes.

Prince Rindell opens the door from his sanctuary, dressed in the battle armor that his grand father mad for his father, and that his father had further enchanted. The Yellowmen step aside, to allow the prince to steps into the cavern. He glances around the room to survey the fight until his eyes lock onto Osa's, looking back at him. Prince Rindell shouts, "You treacherous cushi minx! This is your doing! I'll put and end to you this very minute!" Rindell draws his sword from it sheath, and then like a small child throwing a tantrum, stomps his feat as he walks towards Osa.

Osa begins to laugh as she watches him approach, causing the prince to stop just out of striking range and shout at her, "I'm about to strike you dead and you dare laugh in my face! What is so funny?"

Osa looks at him and composes herself, "Every thing about you. Your stance, the way you march, the way you hold your weapon. You are like a child pretending to me a warrior, but knows nothing about fighting. You have never carried that weapon or warn that armor a single day. You couldn't fight you way out of a fishing net if your life depended on it."

Prince Rindell is so enraged all he can say is, "Why... you..." and then raises his arm up high and back pauses as if to think about what to do next then swings as hard as he can, Osa takes a small step back, and the prince's strike misses by a pace, causing him to spin slightly and lose his balance. Osa follows threw with causing water to form and freeze on the ground below the prince and a quick burst of flame erupts from her hand near his face. Already off balance, this surprise causes the prince to fall over and land on his back, his head bounces off the cavern floor, causing him to black out.

When Rindell awakes, and gets back to his feet, using his sword and a lever to aid him, he looks around and sees Amy, a green man, a giant black bear, and Osa are all fighting the Orangemen. The prince yells at the top of his lungs, "DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK TO ME AS IF I AM SOME NOBODY! I AM THE PRINCE AND I WILL BE KING SOME..."

Osa turns around to look at the prince just in time to see him fall to the ground again, revealing the old seer standing behind the prince, his staff raised as if he just used it as a weapon. Behind the seer Osa sees Noni, John, Quivina, and Vulkarias enter the cavern. Quivina starts firing ice arrows at the Reddman that is fighting Adunbi, while John and Vulkarias run up to either side of Osa and join in the fight against the Orangemen.

It does not take long for the last Redman and all the Orangemen to fall dead or dying. The moment the last Orangeman drops, all the Yellowmen throw down their shields and surrender. Inside the inner chamber, they find princess Keela eating dinner and one servant waiting on her. The prince and princess are taken into custody and placed in the palace prison cells.
