"Damn!" Shandris cursed. She had Anaris in her sights. The arrow was notched and she had a clear shot. However, the moment she could have loosed, she instead moved her aim to the former Commander's left, hitting an insignificant Orc grunt instead.
`How are we supposed to fight our own Sisters?` She questioned, clenching her teeth tightly as she watched Anaris smirk at her, only to move and cut down one of Shandris's own elite Sentinels.
"You bitch!" The General screamed.
`Why... Why is it so easy for you...`
Anaris cut down another Sentinel on her way to Shandris. "You're wondering... Why is it so easy for us to fight you while you still hesitate? I can see it written all over your face." Anaris stared down her nose at Shandris in prideful gesture as she ironically stated:
"It's because we have no shame."
Shandris yelled as a hot pain shot through her side. She looked down to see a dagger being stuck into her side from behind. A long, slender blade used by her own kind. She looked back over her shoulder to see Raene is the one holding the pommel. She tried to move her arm to strike back, but more slender but firm arms held her. She struggled, noting the face of another of her Elite holding her from the other side.
"No! Noooo! Traitors!" She shouted.
"Let go!" She tried to turn to bite, but another set of slender Kaldorei arms pulled around her neck. She wondered just how many of her own forces were compromised. How much of her planning was done before literal traitors to the cause. Tears filled her eyes as her struggles inevitably slowed and she was brought down to her knees. The hands of her former sisters took her hands and folded them behind her back, then pressed her face down into the dirt. She felt dizzy. She was still wounded after all.
Anaris squatted in front of her. "How sad. Part of me was hoping you'd do better. So disappointing. If you could somehow resist and overcome this, it might rekindle some semblance of hope and respect in myself. But you fell so easily to such a silly trick."
Shandris couldn't lift her head. It was being pressed down, cheek mashed into the dirt. She spoke into the ground.
"I will. I'll show you that it's possible to resist!"
Anaris smirked. "I look forward to it. Because... If Shandris Feathermoon of all people begins squealing for her master like a common pig, what hope would anyone have?"
"You're just tormenting me, Anaris. You've already made up your mind."
"The fact that you've lost faith in me means that half of that faith has already been lost in yourself? Do you even want to resist? Or will you willingly surrender? I do say, it would be incredible if after all this, the General just bowed down easily to her Master and begged for mercy. It would be so satisfying."
"Go to hell." Shandris was allowed to look up into Anaris's blank, lifeless eyes and her dull smile. The Sentinel General felt fear as she saw the sardonic expression.
"I have. Now I'm back, ready to bring you there."
"No..." Shandris whined, struggling against the strength of her former comrades.
"No! Wait! Please..." She began to see all around the signs that the battle was lost. The only forces in Ashenvale were hers and there was no one else there to save them. She shuddered, seeing Orcs gathering around to gawk at the sight of her. She saw the Orc Commander, Tarkan, walking forward confidently.
"Don't do what you're going to do! You can use me in a prisoner exchange." Shandris reasoned.
"Huh? What are we gonna do?" Tarkan asked with a chuckle. He squatted down in front of her.
"Y-you're going to..." She cringed, hearing the sounds of it already. Moaning and lewd groaning behind her as her soldiers were defiled by Orcs.
"You can't do this!" She yelled indignantly.
"Can't what?" Tarkan scratched his head.
"Anny, can you make sense of this?" He asked Anaris. She shook her head.
"I can not, Master. She isn't being clear."
"You... are going to defile me." Shandris finally said.
"Oh. Well yeah, of course. Goes without saying." He laughed.
"We'll defile your body once we've finished you off."
"W-what?" Shandris questioned hoarsely with wide eyes.
Anaris smiled brightly. "Since you asked so nicely, why not simply end your life here? Raene."
Shandris panicked as she felt the sharp dagger that had stuck into her side be placed in front of her throat instead.
"Wait wait wait!"
"Hm? Thought this is what you'd want."
Sweat dripped down the General's brow. "What!? Of course I don't want to die!"
Anaris cocked her head to one side. "But the alternative is... Defiling your body over and over again while you're alive until you break."
"I won't break." Shandris said with determination.
"Ah." Anaris smiles.
"Master, better just kill her, then. Raene-"
Tears filled Shandris's eyes. "I-I mean... What do you want me to say?"
Anaris leaned forward, smiling wide with big eyes. "Beg Master to spare your miserable life."
"Please spare my-" Shandris yelped as a smack rocked her backside.
"Not like that... So rude."
