Nina had journeyed far to reclaim the lost artifact of her people. The Ankh of Valdor was a sacred item, used for the yearly harvest rituals to honor the Earth goddess. Nina was well reputed amongst her fellow warriors and was selected for this task. She had short brown hair and wore rough leather armor across her personage. She always carried a sword at her side, prepared for any danger that may lurk ahead.
After weeks of travel, she had finally come across an encampment of goblins that she recognized as being responsible for the theft. She watched from a distance, hidden amongst the rocks of a cliffside. The goblins were huddled in a circle reviewing their possessions. Nina counted six in total, all armed with axes.
Nina let out a whistle, causing the goblins to raise their heads. The apparent leader of the group signaled two of them to go check it out. As they approached the direction of Nina, she drew her sword.
She rushed at the two of them and bisected one goblin completely before he could react to her approach. The other lifted his axe and let out a shout, but she quickly decapitated him before the axe could fall.
Three more goblins rushed away from the group with their axes ready. Nina confronted them one by one, parrying their axes and landing fatal blows on one after the other, until only the leader, still standing by the ill-gotten gains of his comrades, was left.
The leader tossed his axe aside and raised his hands. "Fear not," he said, "I surrender without a fight. What is it you want my mistress?"
"What is your name?" she asked approaching with her sword pointed at his head.
"I am Grak," he replied.
"I am here for the Ankh of Valdor that you stole," she explained, "Where is it?"
He hesitated and then said, "We sold that to a merchant awhile back. You are welcome to search the camp if you do not believe me."
She ordered him to sit down by a tree and tied a rope around him. As she did so, she scanned his person for any secret weapons. Grak was a tall, muscular Goblin with light green skin. He wore no shirt, exposing his chiseled chest and his well-defined abdominals. He wore a long kilt made of the fur of a bear.
Nina searched the camp and could not locate the Ankh. She knew no amount of revenge would satisfy her people. The Ankh was simply too valuable.
After she searched, she reapproached Grak. "Do you know where I can find this merchant? she asked.
"He went off in the direction of Hondama," he said, "It would be weeks before you reach that city."
