Author's Note: This series aims to retell ancient Greek Mythology, by taking much creative liberty, and infusing it with plenty of sexually explicit plot lines. However, I wish to tell a complete story. Therefore, there will be some 'lull' in smutty scenes as I recount the majority of the hero's life. I understand if this is not the quick cum-and-go read that many readers from this site prefer, but if you enjoy a full narrative, then I hope you find this series worthy of your time.
And if you are looking for mostly sexy stuff...the last two-thirds of this chapter is for you!
Cadmus and the God of War
Contrary to Ares's promise, the year that Cadmus had to work with the Spartoi was not peaceful. The legend of Cadmus as the slayer of dragon and tamer of the fierce Spartoi proliferated throughout the lands. However, many men believed that Cadmus's feats were due to luck, not skill, and that his deeds were attributed to the blessings of the divine stone. They believed that any man who was gifted with the gears and weapons that Cadmus received would just as easily defeat the dragon and tame the Spartoi. To them, Cadmus did not deserve his fame because his victory was aided by divine intervention.
Men no longer came to the city to ask Cadmus for a chance to lift the stone. Now, they simply schemed to overtake the city. Even if they couldn't lift the stone, they reasoned that by claiming throne in Cadmea, the citadel of Thebes, they would somehow inherit the blessing of the divine stone.
With the Spartoi protecting Thebes, no one could besiege the city from Cadmus. But the endless attempts of upheaval proved disheartening to the hero. With each invasion, the Spartoi presented Cadmus with the choice of execution or mercy. Cadmus always chose to spare his aggressor's life, but the tougher decision was what to do with them. At first, he chose to imprison them, but the prison cells quickly filled and the task of keeping the prisoners alive strained the resources of the city. Then, Cadmus put the prisoners to labor, working in waste management, or tending the fields, so they could at least be productive for society. Those who refused the work were exiled to a barren desert and left to their own demise. Cadmus made every choice but to outright execute the invaders.
Approaching the end of the year of 'peace', Cadmus decided it was best to appoint a leader among the Spartoi, someone who would make the final decision if the five could not come to a consensus. He told each Spartoi to lift the sacred stone, one at a time. Cadmus reasoned that the one who could lift the stone must have the blessing of the gods, and thus would be the perfect leader among the Spartoi.
After each Spartoi had taken turns to lift the stone, it became clear that none could do it alone. Even as they paired up, tripled up, or lifted as groups of four, the Spartoi failed to raise the stone. Alas, all five encircled the stone, each taking a firm grip, counted down, and together were able to lift the stone to the height of their waist.
This proved to Cadmus that the Spartoi worked well as a team, and that as long as the five learned to cooperate and respect each other and make decisions together, they would undoubtedly be capable leaders. He was confident that in his absence, the Spartoi would ensure the continued growth of Thebes.
The night before Cadmus were to commit to serve Ares, the Spartoi proved their faith and everlasting allegiance to their leader by sharing their flesh for the sexual pleasure of their King and master. Each of them offered their ass for his entry, and he pleased them by dumping his seed deep inside each one. Then, the trusted advisors shared their essence with him, and Cadmus accepted them with open mouth and eager tongue. The essence of the Spartoi were meant to fortify the man's body, giving him the strength and durability to withstand the trials that Ares would surely put him through. As a result, the Spartoi's glowing red eyes turned to that of dark brown. They had finally become fully human.
When morning came, the Spartoi followed Cadmus to the sacred stone. There, they knelt with him as he prayed to Athena, asking the goddess to protect his beloved city and to guide the Spartoi in his absence.
The goddess Athena did not answer him in any way.
With heavy hearts, Cadmus and the Spartoi trekked to the spring that was once the home of Draco the Dragon--the place that Ares had told him to meet. Upon their arrival, they did not have to wait long for the God of War to make his presence known. The sky turned red and a thick fog surrounded them. A powerful gust of wind blew the Spartoi far away, leaving only Cadmus clinging to a tree. Soon, the fearsome yet awe-inspiring human form of Ares appeared.
"How dare you!" shouted Ares, "You fool! You pray to my sister on the same day you swear to serve me?"
Cadmus quickly knelt down before the rageful god, "Please forgive my stupidity. I did not mean to disrespect you!"
"My sister is beloved by mortal men." Ares fumed, "They worship and praise her wisdom and temperament. But they forget that she too is a god who revels in war. She inspires others through battle to fight for what they believe is right," explained Ares, "Do you see the irony in that?! If you pray to her to give you strength to defend against your attackers, whilst your enemies pray to her to give them strength to defeat you, then whose prayer should she answer?"
Cadmus closed his eyes, "I have done all I can to ensure the safety of my city, and I have placed my trust on the Spartoi, who are great warriors because they come from your bloodline. That is all I can do, so I will no longer worry about the fate of Thebes." He took in a deep breath, exhaled, and opened his eyes to look up at the god in awe, "On this day, I swear to faithfully serve you, Lord Ares, and I will do so to the limit that is my death."
Ares laughed, "Oh, Hades be damned. Your death will not free you of your debt to me. You shall serve me, even as a spirit, until the time is up."
"As you wish, my lord."
Thus began Cadmus's year of servitude to the god of war. As Cadmus expected, his duties often involved violence and vengeance, and spur of the moment battles against anyone who slighted Ares even in the smallest ways. And he executed his duties without question, grievance, and hesitation...at least not in front of the god.
Cadmus quickly learned of Ares's deep jealousy of his sister. As instructed by Ares, Cadmus was sent to a developing city, dressed in the gear of a neighboring city, and proceeded to kill a few soldiers and maim some civilians. Naturally, this prompted the two cities to declare war on each other, leading to the destruction of both of them. All this--because the two cities worshiped Athena over him.
Cadmus hated himself for his role in the chaos, but he continued to serve the god.
Cadmus's duty was not limited to the battlefield. He also served to satiate Ares' unruly carnal appetite. Often, he was sent to rescue a beautiful young maiden from men who were forcing themselves on her, only to bring the maiden back to Ares to be seduced by the god of War.
Cadmus hated himself for his role in ruining the innocence of young women.
When Ares instructed him to fetch another maiden, Cadmus refused. "I will take down any man you wish me to send to Tartarus. I will charge in the front line in every battle for every war you wish to bring about. I will defend your honor with my life. But I cannot take part in your quest to violate every fair maiden you lay your eyes on!"
Ares laughed maniacally and picked up Cadmus horizontally above his head. He threw Cadmus to the ground, dazing him. He picked him up again and threw him against a tree. There, the god stripped the mortal man of his gear, revealing the bloodied and battered body. "Who needs a fair maiden when I can just as easily have my way with you?"
Ares's clothes disappeared in flames. Standing before Cadmus was the most magnificent masculine form he had ever witnessed. The Spartoi each had imposing and impressive bodies, but this chosen form of the God of War was entirely on another level of awe-inspiring
If it were up to him, Cadmus would take the time to worship the god's physique, as it was certainly worthy of worship. But based on the god's fury, there would be no time for tender displays of affection.
Ares grabbed the back of his servant's head, and forced him down to his knees. Cadmus watched in terrified awe as the god's massive cock grew bigger and bigger. He knew that gods could decide their own physical form to present to mortal men, including the size and shape of their genitalia...
"I don't get to grow it this long. Not with women." Ares said, pleased with himself, "This will do for now."
Cadmus stared in amazement at the 13-inch dick before him.
Cadmus licked his lips and opened his mouth to receive the cock. Immediately, the God of War pushed his cock to the hilt in one rapid motion, forcing past the man's throat and down his gullet. Cadmus couldn't breath, and the contents in his stomach wanted to shoot upward, but there was nowhere for them to go.
Ares held no regard for his servant, using him as nothing more than a tight canal for him to ram his hard cock through. The servant's skull threatened to cave in, with the amount of force Ares's grip had on it. Tears stung the subservient hero's eyes; his nose ran, his ears rung, his lung nearly collapsed from the lack of air.
The god continued to pummel his servant's mouth, expecting the man to pass out soon, knowing full well what he was doing could end a mortal man's life. Cadmus also wondered when or if he would succumb to the sweet release of death. But the essence instilled in him by the Spartoi warriors had transformed Cadmus's body from that of a mere mortal to near demigod status, ensuring he could endure this extraordinary circumstance.
Ares withdrew from the man's throat without much warning. Unsatisfied, bored, and frustrated. Skull-fucking his servant was meant to humiliate and torture his subordinate. But seeing Cadmus becoming complacent, rather than struggling and begging for mercy, had made this act no longer appealing.
"Fuck you and your stoicism!" Ares growled, as he spit on the servant's face.
Cadmus did not flinch in disgust. He responded, "My body is yours to deal as you wish, my lord. As long as I can deter you from abusing innocent maidens, I shall endure all that you throw at me."
"Fuck you, and your sacrificial heroism!" Ares smacked the man across the face, leaving a red mark. The God of War grabbed the mortal's neck and lifted him in the air, choking him, dangling with his toes just a foot above the ground. He slammed the weakened body's back against an oak tree, pinning him with his arm.
Cadmus could feel the rough bark digging into his already open wounds, as other parts of his skin tore open, letting out blood, painting the tree red.
Ares took the man's legs and threw them over his shoulders; his monstrous phallus aimed at the entrance to the man's inner sanctum. In a split second, Ares drove his cock through the tight anus and wedged himself deep into the hero's southern canal.
