"Unlike them, I honor my word. Now are we agreed or are there going to be more dead Danavas? Yes, I know who you are," I said.

"Who are you? None of us have ever encountered you before," Rambha said.

"Know that I am called Robert Thomson, son of the Demi-god Ephus," I said. When all of their faces showed shock, I continued. "Ah, I see that you know of him, so you know I have power," I waved a hand, then watched them leave.

"That was very brave. Are you really that powerful?" Kali asked.

I looked back at her and said, "For all our sakes, I hope I am, I hope so."

Kali shook a little, "even with all you have released, we are still lacking in power. I mean yes, you have the most powerful of us, The Trimurti. Creation, destruction and prevention, a lot of power there."

"So, if they have that much power, then why are all of you so worried?" I asked.

"You have to understand, yes they are that powerful, though there are still ninety-eight of them out there. Truly, they are the best warriors and fighters that we have," she explained.

"You now have nine of us out. Three are the most powerful of all of us. You have to remember that even together, they can only do so much. We will need more help," Kali told me.

I sighed. I was afraid of this. I touched Kali as she showed me a picture of a four-armed god. Ah, he also had an elephant's head.

I reached out trying to find him, there he was, though he might actually be difficult to get to. I vanished, appearing a moment later underwater, shit I thought, figures.

I searched around 'til I came upon a huge, damn was that an underwater mountain? Well, I thought, then I shrugged as I started to punch and pull the rock out of the way. At least this one wasn't as deeply buried.

I was moving at a pretty fast clip when I got near to him. I started to power up, putting whatever protection I could between me and him. Finally, I broke through, the god within a blur as he came at me.

I only had a moment as I concentrated, so, Ganesha, as smart as you are, you should know I am here to free you.

This, of course, had the desired effect as he stopped still. Who are you? You feel like a god, but I can feel that you aren't.

I bowed slightly to him, I am a Demi-god, the son of Ephus. That's not important, the Trimurti need you, I thought to him. Now excuse me while I search for your consort.

He was still staring at me when I vanished, though strangely enough I felt him following. Less than a minute later, I appeared in a deep forested area, yup I thought she was here.

I looked around, then felt a few times, what the hell, where was she? I touched a tree and felt her, then another feeling her. Damn, it appeared she was divided into a lot of the trees.

I stood still there thinking about it, she was in multiple places. I almost had a solution when Ganesha showed up. At first, I thought he was mad at me standing there.

"So, I see that you have found her. Have you a solution..." He stopped when I held up a hand, quieting him. Again, I thought he would grow angry, though he just nodded and stood there.

I finally had a solution, though I thought there was no way it was that easy. I just nodded as I backed Ganesha up. Then I started to pull on the first tree, quickly moving to a second, then a third and fourth.

In the middle of the trees, I was passing by, putting all that I had collected into a collective spot. What I had gotten was actually starting to take shape. I could see Ganesha wanted to help though held still.

Finally, I reached the last tree, though I didn't think I was going to make it. It seemed that after only a minute the parts wanted to drift apart again. I moved faster than I ever had, placing the last piece in.

I looked at the complete female that was standing there with a shocked look on her face. I guess not only from being whole, but the fact that Ganesha was there.

I smiled then vanished back to where the others were. I felt both following me as I tried to hurry. Damn, I used a hell of a lot of energy. I had just appeared in front of the others when I gave out.

The next thing I knew I was waking up on something soft. I also had at least three female faces watching me.

"What?!" I said as soon as I opened my eyes. "Where in the hell am I?" I asked.

"Well," Kali said with a smirk on her face. "You appeared right before Buddi, then down you went. I just have to ask, what did you do to expend that much energy?"

I had to shake my head a moment, again I asked, "What?" I lay there and just stared at her, wondering just what the hell was going on.

Kali moved closer to me 'til she was almost in my face. "I said that you appeared right before Buddi, then went down on your face. It was most undignified, especially for you."

"Especially for me? What do you mean by that" I asked.

"Well," Kali said a little shyly, "you are a Demi-god after all. So one would think that you held yourself to higher standards," she said with a smirk.

"HMMM," I thought, "I have found at least lately. That if I take myself that seriously? I'd make more mistakes than I want to admit," I said.

"Yeah, I can see that at present. Doing too much that you drain yourself is a little dangerous, don't you think?" Kali asked.

I thought about it for as moment then started to nod my agreement. "I just hope that I have rested enough as I have to go after two more," I said.

Kali just shook her head as she held a hand out to me, then passed it over me.

"Well, that all depends on just how much you plan to do. You have recovered a lot of energy, though I'd say that you are still down on your energy," Kali said. "Perhaps you should rest more. Perhaps build up more before you try it again?"

Again, I thought about it, she was right. I wasn't feeling like I was back to where I was when this started. "Perhaps your right, I'm not feeling all back yet" I said, then laid back, going to sleep almost immediately.

That's when the weird dreams started, what the hell I thought. I was seeing all the females that had been chasing my father. I chuckled, I guess I wasn't the only one with female problems.

Then I thought a bit more. I wasn't sure, but I could swear that Kali was wanting to get with me again. I was wondering why that was. I wasn't particularly handsome; I definitely wasn't large down there.

Huh, I wasn't all that good at love making, so why the hell was she interested in me?

When I awoke, I thought I needed to ask her. I mean she was the Goddess of time, change, creation and power. Nothing, ah! Maybe that was it? Power? It could be, as before, I thought I needed to ask her when I awoke.

I slept perhaps another five hours, then awoke with a start. Of course, there was no one there. I flexed my hands then reached in feeling my power almost where it was earlier today.

Kali appeared a moment later. "So, you are up. Is your power more where it should be?" She asked.

I started to nod, then opened my mouth to ask her a question when she asked, "so you ready for the next?"

Caught unaware for a moment, I actually lost my train of thought. "Uh, yeah, I just have to find them then go there. Lately I have had to figure out how to get to them. Except for the first four of you, most are different."

Kali just nodded, then I started to ask her the same question. "So, are you ready to go?" She suddenly asked.

I blinked as I stared at her. Why was she trying to distract me?

"No," I said, trying to keep my thoughts on what I was thinking. "I want to know why...," I started.

"Why? I thought that you were well rested," she said, again distracting me. I sighed I was going to have to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.

I just shook my head at her, then I reached out feeling for the next that I was hunting for. Strange, I thought there was almost nothing, this was supposed to be a powerful one.

With a shrug, I tried again, feeling for something else. Ah, I thought there he was. I looked at Kali then blinked out. I appeared less than a moment later in an almost desert area, what the hell?

I was, I swear, in the exact middle of the region. I looked around looking for where he was. I mean I could feel him, but there was nothing.

That's when I felt a somewhat powerful throbbing beneath my feet. I just rolled my eyes yeah, it about figured as I looked at the sand below my feet.

Why in the hell was this getting harder and harder? I mean really put them in a mountain. Then I thought, yeah right, make it easy no way. I had to think about this, if I didn't do it right? I could cave it in having to start again.

I swear it was only a moment 'til I had an idea, though I knew it was longer as the sun had moved. I started by slowly removing some sand, then making the sides into glass. I had to go slow as the sand wanted to fill it back in if I went faster.

I knew I was going to take a while when I had only made a few feet after two hours. It was not long after that that Kali showed up, one look had her shaking her head.

"Have they all been this hard?" She asked.

I just looked at her and rolled my eyes, "no, not all, not 'til I get you first four out. Then it seems to have been becoming more and more difficult. The one underwater was as difficult as this," I told her.

She was nodding her head as she watched me slowly make any progress at all. "So," she started, "do you know who this is?"

I stopped a moment, looking at her, "I think I have an idea which was why I chose him, though I won't really know 'til I have him out," I said.

Again, Kali nodded her head as she sat to watch me. I know she wished she could help, though as many of them had found out, that wasn't good. I mean to be blown across the landscape, was to them an embarrassment.

"Well," she started. "Any that you can free is help, anyway you look at it."

I thought as I started up again, in a way, I guess she was right.

So, I was making painstaking slow progress 'til I hit solid bedrock. Now I knew that I was getting close.

"You might want to be somewhere else when he comes out," I said. "They are usually pretty angry when they come out, as I remember you yourself was when you emerged."

"No, I'll be fine, they all know me after all. It's you that I am fearful for," she said.

"Why? Am I that important to you?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact, you are. You're very important to all of us," she said, actually avoiding the question personally herself.

I just looked at her suspiciously for a moment, then went back to breaking through the super hard bedrock. I was going to get an answer out of her, I guess I was going to have to catch her unaware again.

I knew that I was starting to get close as I started to feel the power of the one below me grow tremendously. I estimated I had a foot or two more to go as I started to go slower. Damn, this one had serious power.

I brought up every shield that I had. I also powered up as much as I could. A look at Kali I saw that she was nodding her head.

When I finally broke through, there was a tremendous rush of power almost as strong as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. I hoped that was a good sign of who I was after had a lot of power.

The moment I felt the extreme power hit my protection; I knew I had found him. I briefly saw a tall male in armor holding what appeared to be a staff with a broad end.

So, I thought, you must be Kertikeya. This stopped him for a moment, then he started to try and shred my shields again. Kertikeya! I yelled, getting him to stop again, this isn't necessary!

You are the enemy. I will not allow you to win! I heard him shout. I was afraid I was going to be destroyed when I heard Kali.

Kertikeya, it is me Kali, surely you remember me?

This, of course, gave him pause as he stopped to look at Kali.

Kali! You are still here. I thought that all had been eliminated, she said.

Nope, she said there are some of us still here. Please stop we need your help.

Kertikeya nodded as I dropped all my protection, then reached out to look for another. This caught Kertikeya's attention as well as Kali's. I blinked out, heading a long way away they following.

When I appeared, I was above a steaming swamp, again I rolled my eyes. Not only was it a swamp, but the odor was rather unpleasant also.

Directly below me, I felt a rather weak throbbing power. Kertikeya nodded as he dove, was gone a moment, then reappeared flying backward at a rapid rate. He stopped then went under even harder and faster, reappearing as if he were swatted.

This time when he came back, Kali told him. "He is the only one that release any that are entombed."

He looked at her incredulously, then waited. I took a big breath then froze all the water, removing what was above my next target. I looked at both of them as I started to dig the frozen earth out.

Once again, as with all of them, I hit bedrock. I could also feel the power more clearly below it. I was soon through most of it, only a little left.

Finally, I was through, then I thought the fun would start. A black-haired female came straight at me, almost bouncing off my protection.

Hello Devasena, I thought stopping her dead in her tracks.

Who are you? I do not recognize you, she thought.

I pointed toward Kertikeya and Kali. The look of elation on her face was well worth it. Watching them rush together was also a moment that made it well worth it.

I looked at Kali then blinked out. I appeared a moment later in the tent that I was staying in. Less than a moment later, Kali appeared right beside me.

"I believe that he was a very good choice. He is, after all, the god of war," Kali said.

I nodded. I knew this. I mean, after all, who better to stop all this than the god of war? I mean, really there weren't really that many that were stronger, especially when he was fighting.

Yeah I thought, if this was going like I thought it was? Then yeah, this was going to escalate into an all-out war. I just hoped that those that I had released were going to be strong enough.

Less than a moment later, Visnu, Brahma and Shiva appeared along with their consorts. I hissed as I was still having issues with Shiva. I guess he knew as he hung back a bit.

"It seems that you have been very busy," Bramha said. A moment later, Kertikeya and Devasena appeared. Then Ganesha and Buddi appeared. "They will make things far easier now."

"I was hoping so when I felt them, but will they be enough? Kali told me that there are ninety-eight Danavas more out there," I said.

At first Brahma was in thought, nodding his head, then he looked straight at me. "At present I am not sure, we three," he indicated The Trimurti, then pointed to Kertikeya. "Plus, we have him, though as you said, we have another ninety-eight Danavas still out there."

"So, are you thinking that we will need a few more? You think that the Danavas might try to attack you in mass?" I asked.

Brahma turned to look straight at me as he said, "it is more than a possibility. They have been trying for a very long time to rid the world of us."

I just sighed as I knew that this wasn't over by far. I reached out, trying to find the strongest that I could. I was shocked when I found one almost as powerful as the god of war.

I sighed as I prepared to blink out. Where in the hell was I going to end up now, I thought. I pulled to where I had felt the strong power amazed when I appeared in another tropical type forest. I was close but not quite there 'til I hit a clearing.

In the middle of extremely dense plants was a huge crystal, at least I think it was. OK, this was going to take a moment. I hit the crystal, my hand bouncing off, damn. I tried a few tools, same effect.

This time I actually stepped back to look at it. Come on, I thought I had figured out the others why was this so difficult? Hmmm I thought, as I stepped forward and tapped on it.

The resonating sound I heard gave me an idea. I made a tuning fork and hit the side with it. I nodded as I felt the crystal start to vibrate slightly. I hit it again a lot harder with the fork.

This time I saw a few cracks appear that solidified as soon as the vibrations stopped. OK one more time, I thought as I hit it with the fork hard, watching as the cracks started. I then hit it with my fist, making the cracks widen.

I hit it again before the vibrations stopped, then punched, making the cracks even wider. At that moment, I felt not one but two surges of power escape.

Thankfully, I was ready as they both hit me at the same time. Just like the others, this one also has serious power.

Hello Yama, I thought stopping him cold and you must be Dhumorna. I saw both of them pause as they looked at me strangely. Who are you? I heard Yama say, I know you not.

At that moment, the Trimurti appeared with their consorts. "Yama," Brahma said. "It is good to have you back with us."

Both Yama and his consort stopped, then looked at me surprised. "I must go," I said as I blinked out.

This time I was following another somewhat strong power. This time I appeared a great distance above the earth, in front of a bank of very thick clouds.

I reached out to touch them, only a little surprised when they felt solid as hell. I tried to pry them open no dice. I tried an energy blast the same effect. I swiped at the edge, seeing a piece break off dissolve then it reformed.

Shit I thought, another one of those puzzles, maybe I thought. I backed up then flew at it, cutting it in half, then stopped and did it again. I tried to keep it from reforming, then there was a loud boom as I felt another two?

Ah! I thought about the two trying to attack me, hello Chandra, which gave him pause. You must be Rohini, I thought to them.

They were both staring at me, that's when I felt my power start to decline again. Shit not again, I thought, as I blinked out, I felt the both of them following me. I also felt Kali as she appeared beside me as I was heading for the tent.

I barely made it, collapsing in Kali's arms as she tried to drag me into my bed. "Thanks." I told her, then let the darkness take me.
