The train ride back to the gateway was quiet. Lacie and Itzy held my hands, fingers laced and pressed themselves up against me.

When we got to the gateway, we held together in a tight, three-way hug. As we separated, they repeated the same words the other three had just minutes before.

"Be safe, My Love. Come back to me soon, for I will long for you until the day I pass to the next existence."

I repeated the words back to them, "Be safe, My Loves. Come back to me soon, for I will long for you until the day I pass to the next existence."

We separated quickly. The Elven women turned back to the train quickly. I missed them instantly. But we all had a 'reality' to deal with.

I stepped through the gateway into the woods at the edge of my clearing. I walked home in a daze. I had just spent an evening with not one beautiful woman, but FIVE ELVEN, smoking hot women. We had performed oral on each other... so many times... and in so many ways. So many kinky things we had done and not even had intercourse!

I certainly didn't feel wanting right then.... I was completely sated. The girls had assured me they would be as well.... But, not for too long. I had promised to return in four days. They promised they would be fine until then. But, too many days beyond and they would become depressed.... After too long and they would go feral, before withering.

I honestly didn't know how I would survive four days.... Ugh work! Shit.

Work came bright and early the next morning. I dragged myself out of bed, feeling lonely, being alone. I wasn't sure how that happened so fast.... I had been alone for a while. A reluctant, but comfortable bachelor. One night with them had changed me so much! LOL

The day dragged.... Numbers piled on top of numbers, reports and units and divisions and savings and expenditures and I was done.

But the worst of it, by far, was that every second that ticked slowly by on the clock I was worried about Itzy and Lacie. They were off in the borderlands, possibly in real danger, and I was sitting behind a desk staring at a monitor full of stuff I didn't care about, not one iota!

One thing Itzy had told me was to be careful and not alter my behaviors much. To continue to act my normal self, go to the park like I always did, etc. It was on the train, and I hadn't gotten the chance to ask why as other topics had been discussed, or silences too comfortable to think about bad things had occupied the trip.

The end of the day finally arrived, and I headed home. Apprehensive, worried.... And missing them. All of them.

Wow, all of them. Huh.

The thought of each brought a smile to my face as I slowly stretched at the entrance to the park. I began walking and then struck up a slow jog.

The afternoon had turned sunny and slightly warm as I began to make my way through the park. Before I knew it, I was approaching the turn off to my private meadow. Someone was there already. By the time I was paying attention to that far ahead on the trail, I could see it was a woman.

As I slowed to a walk, I could see she was a woman in very good shape. She was sitting on the rock I have always used as my turn-off landmark. It's a touch short for a dining room chair, but really comfortable for sitting after a good run, or a stretch in the middle of one.

She looked maybe Thai, or Vietnamese? Cambodian? I wasn't going to assume. No matter what, she was beautiful.

Her hair was ruler straight. Held up in a single high ponytail. Her complexion was rather dark tanned. She glowed a beautiful, almost mahogany, color. Her skin without a single blemish I could see, other than a single small beauty mark just behind her left ear (the one facing me as I approached). She was thin, but in that athletic, beach volleyball kinda way. Long, lean.

She was wearing very short jogging shorts, and a super tight jogging tank top. She was wet with sweat like me. She leaned her head back to take a drink. She pursed her lips and then let the tip of the bottle slip between them. Here eyes were locked on mine. A slow smile crept from them to her eyes. Then she winked at me.

I laughed and smiled at her. I liked her instantly.

I also felt nervous. I could not identify why. But I felt like I should watch myself... Her looks alone told me she could get me in trouble... If I hadn't just left five perfect women just the day before. Five women who had been on my mind all day. Despite my running high, and the beautiful woman in front of me, they were still on my mind.

The water bottle came away from her lips. She had a thick lower lip, with a beautiful slightly puffy bowtie upper lip. A small, slightly upturned nose.

I got closer and she stood with a smile on her face. I was struck by her eyes immediately. They were golden near her pupil to an almost chestnut brown at the edges. Mesmerizing.

"Well, hey there." She said with a big smile one her face. She held her water bottle in her left hand and reached out with her right to shake hands. "I'm Betsy."

"John. Nice to meet you, Betsy." I smiled back.

As our hands touched, I felt a little tingle. Betsy's eyebrows went up for a split second. I almost missed it. Had she felt it as well?

"Do you run here often?" She, clearly, recovered quicker than I.

"As often as I can, really.

"The weather's just getting great again, though." I replied and pulled my water bottle to my lips.

As Betsy's eyes went to my lips and slid to my Adam's apple, I could see her sneaking glances down at my body. I decided to do the same.

Betsy was thin, gracefully so. From neck to ankle, her skin had a beautiful skin-kissed tone. It was clear she spent time on a tanning bed or lived in the tropics most of the time! She had a long, thin neck leading to slim and broad shoulders. Her skin dipped beautifully be her collarbones.

Overall, she portrayed a grace, and in appearance she had the musculature of a dancer.

Her chest was not big, but I could see her nipples and (was that jewelry?) and the damp white fabric was just translucent enough to show a dark areola and that there was nothing else being worn. Her breasts were on the small side, maybe a small B? They sat beautifully, high and firm upon her chest. They were rounded beautifully on the bottoms and her nipples sat there in almost perfect symmetry.

Her abs poked out a little above her burgundy jogging shorts. The sides slit impossibly high and revealing nothing but smooth skin atop smoothly rippling muscles. Those legs seemed to go for about a mile and a half...

I finished my swallow of water, and my mouth was just as dry.

As soon as my eyes reached hers, she smiled seductively.

Yeah, I needed away from her! She was definitely trouble!

"Do you live nearby, John?"

"Over by the South entrance to the park. A short walk."

"South? I'm terrible with directions. Is that the one with the big parking lot?"

"No. That's the Eastern entrance. Where I come in, there's no parking."

"Oh, well I've just moved into my house. I looked up places to run. This place topped the list and followed the directions on my phone."

"Maybe I'm lucky enough to have you as a new neighbor, Betsy?" I meant it. I really did like her.

"Well, I've probably spent enough time sitting." Betsy said, "it was very nice meeting you John." Betsy gave me a stunning smile that lit her whole face and winked one of the sexiest winks I'd ever seen!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

"Same, Betsy." I replied.

I suddenly realized we were still holding hands. I instinctively squeezed her fingers gently before letting go.

When I looked up from our hands, I found Betsy staring at her fingers with a curious look on her face. She looked up at me searching my face, her eyebrows scrunched questioningly. It was adorable.

Wait, 'adorable'? Five women!

Must.

Go....

NOW, John. MOVE! My brain screamed at me.

"See you around. I hope."

She just looked at me with a slight smile and nodded.

I turned and began the return jog home. Thoughts of Betsy intruding into my worries about Itzy and Lacie. I hoped I'd see Betsay again.... But I wasn't sure what for? Wasn't that being insanely greedy?

The night got quiet after I got home. Protein shake, shower, TV, some real dinner.... And rolling back and forth in bed trying to get the concern out of my head for my elven lovers.

I did eventually get a couple of hours sleep. I was bleary eyed and under caffeine when I hit the office. The day dragged a lot like yesterday had. My concern growing. My nervousness never subsiding. Eventually I made my way home. When I walked in the door, pulled off my shoes, loosened my tie, lay back on the couch and promptly fell asleep.

I woke to a gentle knock on my front door. My eyes blearily opened for the second time that day. I wandered over to the door to hear a muffled voice outside.

"I don't think anyone's home?"

Someone further away replied.

"I knocked Connie."

"I'm telling you. I saw him come home two hours ago and he hasn't left. He's home" Connie, George's lovely, but nosey, matchmaking wife. She was looking to foist another single mom on me she had met at her work. I really needed to put a stop to this for once and all.

"AHHhh!" the woman screamed as I opened the door her hand had been reaching for once more.... Accept now she had grabbed a bunch of my shirt and tie.

My full attention was on Connie at the foot of the steps to my front porch. The new prospect was turned away from me. Her long black hair straight down around her shoulders. She was dressed in jeans and a tank top and her tan skin looked suddenly familiar.

As she turned, Betsy's eyes went as big as dinner plates. I'm sure mine matched. It only took a split second before we both burst into laughter.

"What's so funny? You two know each other?" Connie asked in her heavy Southern drawl.

When she could stop smiling enough, Betsy told her, "Yes, we met on the trail yesterday. He's the guy I told you about meeting."

Betsy then brandished the bottle of wine in her other hand and asked, "Doing anything for dinner? I thought I'd intrude." Her smile was glorious.

"I would be a fool not to! Please, come in.

"Bye Connie!" I smiled and abruptly shut the door in her face. I could see ten million questions forming on her face and her eyebrows knitting together to begin her verbal assault. I wanted none of it.

Betsy was laughing when I turned around.

"Sorry, she's been trying to set me up for years."

"Nothing's stuck?" she asked, eyebrows raising suggestively.

"Nope" was all I would say right now. Fact was, she was the first of about twelve women Connie had tried setting me up with that I had let past my front stoop.

I wasn't ready to admit that to her just yet.

"You'll have to forgive me for a minute. I didn't sleep well last night, tossed and turned a bit. When I got home from work, I fell asleep on the couch. Do you mind if I go throw on something more comfortable and then we can figure out dinner?"

"Sure. Where should I hang?"

"Anywhere. I have nothing to hide." I smiled back at her.

She giggled and smirked at me. "Never give a new girl absolute access. I might... I mean, she might take advantage of it?"

Her eyes sparkled with mischief, and I laughed out loud. I really, really did like her. I really, really, really had to be careful!

I almost ran down the hallway in my socks and into my bedroom, closing the door gently behind me. I didn't lock it. I honestly didn't think Betsy was ready for that yet.

I slipped into some old soft jeans and one of my old plain blue t-shirts. When I got back out to the living room, Betsy had a glass of wine in her hand, another sat on the island counter. She was perusing my bookshelf, running her fingers over the spines, every now and again tugging a book out a touch, at an angle and just slightly. Not taking it off the shelf. Just moving the top corner forward just a touch.

I was quickly entranced by the line of her legs and ass in her jeans. Then, up her slender back muscles to her shoulders. Her tank top exposed her beautifully tanned shoulders and showed the flex of her muscles gliding under her golden skin as she moved through my books and sipped her drink.

"I swear I can feel you watching me." She said quietly, without turning. She continued to the other side of my fireplace and the matching bookshelf on the other side. She started at the top. Her calf muscles flexing as she went up on her toes. I noticed, she'd slipped off her little flats already.

She pointed her wine glass towards the kitchen and said, "There's a glass for you on the counter."

She never turned from perusing my 'library' of nerdy history, sci-fi and cheap detective novels. I wondered what the interspersed classics and odd poetry book or two would make her think about me?

I finally tore my eyes away from Betsy's beautiful form and turned to the wine she'd poured for me. It was a nice crisp, dry white. Light, fruity, but tart. It had a mild effervescence as well.

"Hey, that's really nice wine, Betsy! Very tasty!"

She turned, leered at me and said, "Me or the wine?" Then she began to laugh! Throwing her head back, exposing her beautiful, long, thin neck.

She returned her look to me, and said, "I'm sorry, John. I'm a glass ahead of you, I think".

Her cheeks bloomed with that Asian flush. Maybe more than one? She was very pretty slightly flushed as she was. I didn't see much gold left in her eyes either as she sauntered over towards me as I leaned against a stool, my elbow on the Island behind me.

She stepped in pretty close for someone I'd exchanged only a few short sentences. I was trying to figure out how I felt about it. I was also trying to figure out how Itzy, Lacie, Foxie, Pixie and Tee would feel about it? Would they accept a human into the family?

I wasn't sure. I wasn't willing to take a chance, either. I did know that much for sure.

I was very attracted to Betsy, but I needed to talk to my Elves before I did anything more than be a good friend to a new neighbor. So, I decided to figure out dinner plans... Just as my stomach began to growl, loudly.

"Dinner?" I laughed after my stomach settled down.

Betsy giggled and eyed me over her wine glass. "Connie said you'd play hard to get. Why is that, John?"

I could tell she was feeling the wine. I was only a few sips into my first glass and on an empty stomach, I knew I needed to pace myself.

"Honestly Betsy, I'm not a game player. I am who I am and don't try to make up for it. I'm very up front about what I want and what I expect. A lot of the women Connie's sent me over the years have presented themselves as something they aren't and tried to work me.

"Many of the ladies that she's sent over here were single moms she met at work at the hospital, you know. I would pick up on it pretty quickly, but they'd all try to hide it, fearing I wouldn't be interested."

"The though of kids bothers you?"

"Nope. It was the dishonesty, ya know? It's a serious turn off."

"Everyone one of them? Really?" Betsy asked.

"Sadly, yes."

"Well, then let's get dinner, Sir. What would you like to eat?"

Betsy looked at me like I was going to be dinner.

"Sadly, nothing I've got in the kitchen." I said as I grabbed the wine, stuck the cork back in it and opened the fridge to keep it cold while I escaped the close confines of my home and Betsy.

Somehow, I got her out the door in a few minutes and we headed off to eat. Over dinner I learned that Betsy was a single teacher. She had moved in next door Connie and George. She, in fact, did not have any children, but hoped for some in the future. She, in fact, did not meet Connie through Connie's work at the Hospital. Which we both chuckled over. I also learned she was highly educated with a several degrees and was working at the local university, teaching Orbital Mechanics, Smart and beautiful!

I learned her parents had both passed away and left her and two older sisters and her. Her two sisters were back in her hometown taking care of the family business (turns out they owned a winery.... The wine we'd been drinking earlier). They were actually from an area that had a lot of Islands and had a tropical climate. That explained her look.

I'd shared about my family and growing up back in Virginia. The typical first date stuff.

We laughed and talked about a million different things. Time flew by. Next thing I knew, we were the only ones left in the restaurant. There were a couple of beer bottles and a couple of waters, several dirty dishes, and both of us smiling. I paid the bill and added a big tip.

We drove towards my house in a very peaceful silence. We'd learned much about each other. It was late, I was tired.... I needed to drop Betsy off at her house.... I knew if we went straight to my house, I'd be in trouble. Betsy had been giving me hints all night long.

As I pulled up to her house, she turned to me with a little pout.

"Kicking me to the curb already, Sir?" she asked

"No ma'am." I smiled, "But I have another long workday, still short on sleep and I'm just worn out.

"Can we make plans for another time?" I asked.

"Yes sir." She purred with a little pout on her face. Her voice was a little husky, and her sultry look had my cock growing hard in my pants.

"Okay, I've got your number. Let me call you tomorrow and we'll try to set up something?"

She leaned back against the door, ran one foot up my thigh. She poked at my side, just above my jeans. Then she cocked an eye and motioned back towards her front door.

I shook my head with a sad look in my eye and stuck out my bottom lip in a pout. She shrugged, but I could tell she was really disappointed. I didn't want to lead her on. I had been very careful with my physical touches and my words.

"Thank you, John."

"Of course, but what are you thanking me for, exactly?" I chuckled.

"Well, I've practically thrown myself at you all evening. I've never felt rejected, not once. I've had one of the most enjoyable evenings I think I may have ever had. And, here, at my doorstep...." She paused and brought a finger to her lip in the cutest way.

"You show that you are responsible, and yet, interested at the same time. Once again, I don't feel rejected.

"I feel respected. I feel interest from you, but not desperation."

Another pause. I didn't know what to say. There was no question, and she had nailed it.

I had interest. I wasn't desperate, if anything I still felt a bit dehydrated.

"Am I wrong, John? You are interested."

"No, Betsy. You're not wrong. There is interest. But there are also a few complications. Nothing to be upset about. But things I need to work out."

"You've got a girlfriend?"
