CHAPTER 9
Night. In the palace halls.
Heidi ran barefooted down the halls. She had left Darren tied up in her room and wasted no time slipping into a robe before starting her search for her lost handmaiden.
She'd managed to garner a hint to her location and was looking for Vishal's secret room. If she had to guess, Heidi assumed this hidden room would be connected to his chamber somehow.
"Ohhh-," She squeezed her thighs together, shifting herself as she walked. Her train of thought interrupted by a sharp spike in pleasure. She could feel droplets collecting on her legs as she continued to squeeze them tightly against each other. Heidi had to stop walking as she grabbed a hold of the wall as she waited for the wave of pleasure to pass.
"Hmmm-," She released quiet moans as she tried to suppress her vocalizations, "Fuck." She had to extract her hand from her crotch yet again, her body subconsciously managing her arousal with a different approach.
That drop of Darren's cum was still coursing through her body. She was suffering from frequent hot flashes, and her body was constantly aroused.
Heidi didn't spend much time properly preparing herself for what she assumed should've been a quick trip across the palace. Her underwear, as usual, was hopelessly outmatched. It was long lost inside the folds of her slit and did nothing to constrict her eager member. The nightgown she'd grabbed would've been barely long enough to conceal the tip of her dick if it had managed to stay limp. But, in it's engorged state her erect fem-cock tented the thin material of her gown creating an easily-defined bulge.
As the flash passed, Heidi took a second to catch her breath. She spotted her target, the door to the advisor's chamber and peeled herself towards it.
The night was close to dead quiet. The soft pitter patter of her feet on the tile was the only sound she could hear. As she got closer to Vishal's Chamber she slowed her pace, keeping careful watch on the corners as she approached.
Heidi prayed for an easy rescue,
"Hopefully I'll be able to sneak inside without issue."
She turned the knob quietly, grinning as she snuck inside undetected, thankful it wasn't locked. With the door closed behind her she exhaled with relief.
"Now to find a secret entrance of sorts."
She started with a broader search. Tapping her knuckle against randomly as she placed her ear against the walls - she was listening for hollow areas or any hint that Sophie was inside. She only needed a hint of where to look.
"Soph? Hey, can you hear me?" Heidi called out, holding still and listening for any response she might receive.
Silence.
Heidi frowned, and considered her options.
"Maybe she can't hear me?"
yelling louder might work, but Vishal might hear her,
"It'll be worth the risk."
"HEY! Hello?!" She yelled desperately. Again holding still and praying for a response.
Finally, she heard something barely above a whisper. "Sophie!? Is that you?" Heidi ran her ears against the wall, closing on the faint sounds. She followed the quiet murmurs and led her directly to the edge of a bookshelf.
The shelf was packed to the brim with all manner of knick knacks and various scrolls. Heidi frantically checked random objects for switches as she searched for a way inside the secret room. She showed complete disregard as she tossed nearly everything aside. With a cleared shelf she instead tried forcing the shelf out of the way. Luckily, with a hard shove it jolted and pivoted open just enough for her to squeeze inside.
Heidi couldn't see anything in the pitch black room. She fumbled with a lantern, flooding the room with dim lamplight. Heidi's eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness as she started to take in her surroundings.
The room was expansive, covering a larger area than the advisor's whole chamber and scattered throughout was quite the curious collection. Heidi spotted documents sporting the seals of neighbouring kingdoms, various scrawls of cryptic runes, and dozens of old tomes and ancient scrolls. Vishal seemed to have been up to quite the operation, he was certainly a man who did his research. As she glanced closer at a few of the objects a large stack of letters grabbed her attention.
She scanning through the stack as she inspected them further. "What? These are all from other kingdoms, and they're addressed to me." She'd flipped through them at random, quickly checking their contents.
"These are all suitor requests!" she exclaimed. Heidi didn't recall receiving any of these letters nor had she ever heard mention of them. Yet, all of them were already opened. Tears welled up in her eyes as she tossed the letters to the ground.
The extra evidence of Vishal's reprehensible behaviour provided no vindication for Heidi. Only payback could placate her seething hatred for the monster she once trusted.
Cutting through the dark was a quiet whimper. The cry brought her back on task. It sounded nearby, but Heidi couldn't see where it was coming from. Grabbing the lantern she set out into the darker corners of the hidden chamber.
As she continued to follow the cries, Heidi called out into the black, "Soph? Can you hear me?"
A weak voice called out to her, "Heidi, p-please." She could identify the cry as a girl's, and she knew it had to be Sophie.
"SOPHIE! Thank the goddess!" Heidi rushed ahead, relieved to hear her handmaiden's voice. But, as the lantern crested the turn it lit up the remaining shadows, and Heidi gasped at what she saw.
