This is the first chapter of Hard Coded part 3. I've decided to split this part up into chapters for my own sake of writing it, and to keep the story from becoming overwhelming. This part is the longest story I have written to date, and this first chapter is mostly set up with little sex in it. This will pay off in the following chapters, which will be almost entirely sex. I hope you enjoy.

Hard Coded

Part 3 - Chapter 1

He'd found a game once, porn of course, that had one of the most spectacular character creators he'd ever seen. Literally every aspect of the female form had been broken down into the most minute, customisable values. He could change anything he desired, make them look however he wanted them to look. Thighs that extended out twice the width of their shoulders, asses that served as shelves and tits that could obscure the entire torso from view. He was no stranger to these sizes; hell he'd drawn plenty bigger than that himself in his time. But it was the fact that he controlled this, everything designed to fit his exact mood in that moment and could be tweaked in a second to fit something else... That turned him on more than anything else. He would jerk off and cum harder than he would to anything else because he had been in control, and it fulfilled his desires completely.

He'd forgotten the game eventually, wiped from his hard drive and lost to time, but as he stood there, Jayden felt that same sensation, just on a whole other level.

He'd had to unplug the USB. He couldn't risk being in his bedroom anymore, but in his condition there was no way he was moving his whole PC setup. So he'd grabbed his laptop from his bag and plugged in the mysterious drive. It seemed different somehow, like it had adapted to the new hardware it was running on. Out of curiosity, Jayden had taken all the files from the USB and dragged them over to his desktop. This time he was prepared for the blinding white flash that had stunned him the night before, the ethereal glow emanating from his laptop's screen.

What shocked him now was the blue dancing lights that played out across the metallic shell, whispering between the keys and dancing through the external ports. Some part of him knew he ought to be concerned about this, but whatever this program was doing to his PC, Jayden suspected it could do more without being confined to that of the small memory stick.

As his laptop finally stopped fizzling with energy and the ethereal aura faded from his screen, Jayden suspected that his computer's transformation was complete. The fact that his computer still looked completely ordinary he knew would have been anticlimactic to some. But he knew better, while externally it might look unchanged, inside the shell was where the real changes had been made. So far the files looked pretty similar, but the more he investigated the minor differences he discovered. He navigated back to the BaseStatModifier file, and noticed the icon next to it had changed. Where previously he had seen a small notepad page, a glowing blue "M" now replaced it. Curious to understand the new development, but even more so to explore the plethora of settings at his disposal, Jayden dived straight in.

-- -- --

Sam casually scrolled through her phone while she sat in the student cafe. The coffee was shit and the air conditioner only worked if it was 2pm on a Wednesday and Boreas, Greek God of Cold Winds, deigned to grant his blessing, but this was where Sam and Jayden always met, same time every week. They'd been doing this since they both got accepted into the same university, Sam having to convince Jayden into doing it at all. They'd spent a few years apart after high school, both going to different colleges, and Jayden never was the best at keeping in contact at that point in his life.

Sam couldn't say she was much better though. College was when she bloomed - that was how her mum put it - and it was true. Sam had gone from a gawky, awkward teenager to a confident, outgoing and decently attractive adult if her friends were to be believed. College gave her a change in scenery, a new friendship group and a chance to reinvent herself. She almost felt guilty for leaving Jayden behind.

Which wasn't to say she only hung out with him out of guilt! It had felt that way at first, but after a few hours together it was like old times again. Jayden's wise cracks and dry humour belying the charm he actually had. That and he was just so much fun to tease, always had been.

But she couldn't deny that there was something different. She could see it plain as day despite how much Jay tried to hide it. It was like there was something wrong, the way he looked at her. Sometimes he'd look at her and it'd be fine, they laughed and joked and had a great time, but sometimes he looked at her and seemed... sad. She'd never seen him like that before. In the near decade they'd been best friends he'd never looked at her like that.

They'd been hanging out at her place, her brother Lewis sitting behind them on the couch as she and Jayden sat on the floor. They played Mario Kart on his GameCube, and she casually mentioned someone she'd hooked up with in college. It was just part of her story, and it happened to be somewhat relevant, but the moment she said it, Jayden clamped shut. He barely said a word after that. Unfortunately Sam was just a little too high to catch his change in mood, but Lewis was not.

"Did you see what happened the moment you said you slept with someone?" he'd asked rather pointedly later on. She'd shook her head at the time, too engrossed in her own story to really pay attention to anything but her loosely recalled memories and taking the drift on DK Mountain.

"What? What happened?"

"He started losing. Jayden never loses Mario Kart."

She'd picked up on it then. Small probes here and there, but she pretty quickly figured it out. Whatever it was Jayden was feeling, he felt like he wasn't good enough for her. She could see the way he looked at her, the way he would look at the clothes she wore or the people she hung around with. He saw themselves as if they were two completely different kinds of people now.

And Sam wasn't stupid. She knew there was a degree of truth to that, but she was determined that she could overcome it. Whether it meant that she needed to help Jayden come out of his shell more, or just to be there when he needed her, she was determined to show that their ten years of friendship couldn't just be wiped out so easily.

Well it was either all that, or he had a crush on her. Either-or really. The latter would honestly be a relief.

Sam put down her phone and looked over at the entrance. Normally Jay would send her a text in the morning asking if they were still on to meet up. He liked that kind of organisation. She'd not gotten anything this morning, but she still showed up anyway. Maybe Jay had lost his phone or overslept?

She'd been sitting alone in the cafe for nearly an hour when he finally walked through the door. Sam was fully prepared to lambast him with all her pre-prepared mocking and teasing before she got the chance to properly take him in.

-- -- --

The dread of yesterday was nothing compared to what Jayden had awoken to this morning. He'd regained consciousness in the bathroom, pressed tight against one wall while

the rest of him

lay limply inside the shower. The room was splattered, the drain was clogged and the smell was once again bafflingly overwhelming. His laptop sat precariously on the countertop beside him, a stray rope of stubborn jizz still bridging between the keyboard and the top of the screen. Jayden used one leaden arm to slowly drag the laptop off the edge of the counter, and it had landed on him with a resounding

thump

that had sent shivers throughout his entire body.

He felt profoundly empty as he scrolled through the aftermath of changes he had made to himself last night. While it was only a handful of values, there was a part of himself that was ashamed at just how far he'd let himself go. On the other hand he couldn't help but feel like he was experiencing the biggest case of post-nut clarity he'd ever gone through, and he'd never experienced regret more than after a long-edged nut. Looking at himself, he was pretty certain that even his most drawn out, edged jerk-off session was barely a drop in the ocean compared to what he must have done last night.

Jayden went about resetting values to what seemed like fairly reasonable numbers. Most things seemed basically intuitive, and after messing around with the settings for hours last night he'd gotten a very basic grasp on the logic the values seemed to work by. As he hovered over the value for his own cock however, he simply couldn't bring himself to set it back to a "1", it simply felt inadequate now. How could he ever hope to settle for his own standard 6 inches when he had the option to be so much more now. Plus he really enjoyed the weight.

Still though, he definitely needed to at least be mobile. He dreaded the thought of what the rest of his little apartment looked like, but being sat here in deep puddles of congealing cum was hardly a more enticing prospect. He replaced the value with a "2", and watched rather forlornly as his cock seemingly retracted back into himself, the assaulting sensations of his heightened sensitivity returning to a more manageable level. A deep, sucking

SCHLOOOOORP

echoed through the small bathroom as his cock vacated the pool of nut sludge that had settled in the basin of the shower. Evidently his cock had been blocking the drain of the shower as his slime began to slowly bubble its way through the abused plumbing, and a guttural gurgling emitted from his almost equally stained sink.

He'd set his cum production back to normal as well, and felt a little bit hollow as he realised he missed the sensation of tightness in his groin. Biting his lower lip, Jayden looked around at the cost of that tight feeling. For the second day in a row he'd woken up bathed in his own cum. Was that something he was willing to live with? But even after a day he wasn't sure it was a sensation he was prepared to live without... Sighing deeply, he also set both of those values to "2" as well.

"May as well keep things consistent" he mumbled groggily to himself, as if that was justification enough.

With what must have been a weight at least somewhere close to that of his own body removed from him, Jayden was able to push himself to stand, his back sliding up the cum-slicked tiles as he supported himself. His knees felt weak, his calves were numb and his arms were screaming as he braced them against his countertop and radiator in order to even stand. Through all that noise he could still make out the foreign yet pleasurable sensation of the unfamiliar weight hanging from his groin. Yesterday this feeling was concerning but now that he at least knew

why

it was happening, if not exactly how, Jayden was able to at least take some degree of satisfaction from the alien presence on his body.

Jayden stumbled out of the bathroom, delicately balancing the laptop in one hand as he used the other to support himself into the other room. He glanced at the lower right hand side of his laptop's screen, doing anything to avoid looking at the rest of his apartment. 10:23. He'd missed the start of his morning lecture, yet despite that he couldn't find it within himself to truly care, missing a single lecture was a minor inconvenience compared to exploring what he'd gotten his hands on.

Jayden kept his gaze locked onto his laptop screen, his guts doing cartwheels. His vision went fuzzy as he desperately tried to find something to distract himself with, but his mind could find nothing to latch onto. His brain was fighting back against his attempts at diversion. Subconsciously he knew there were clearly more important matters at hand, but he just wasn't prepared to deal with them. When his toes squelched into a thick, gooey patch of his living room carpet however, he could no longer ignore it, the physical sensation dragging his attention to the disaster scene before him.

Needless to say, he wasn't getting his deposit back.

-- -- --

Sam watched, slightly slack jawed as Jayden plonked himself into the seat opposite her. He looked

dreadful

. His hoodie was stained, like it hadn't been washed in about a week and he was clearly wearing the "Depression Sweats", his grey sweatpants hanging limply from him, being almost as stained as his hoodie. His face appeared gaunt too, the hollows of his cheeks slack and deep purple bags rimmed his eyes like he'd been getting make-up tips from a 14 year old emo girl.

"Jesus man, you alright?" She blurted. She'd seen Jayden go through some rough patches, but whatever this was it wasn't like anything she'd seen him go through before. Clearly he'd not taken the news of his coursework results well. She tried to stamp down on the guilt that bubbled up inside of her. She'd spent the last two nights partying while Jayden had been going through this? But now was clearly not the time for her own self-pity. She saw people from around the cafe shooting Jayden furtive, curious glances, and she responded with her own icy stare in return. She gazed back to Jayden, who looked as if he was about to fall asleep at the table in front of her.

"You alright?" She asked again, this time her tone softer, less surprised but still equally worried. Jayden's eyes flickered up again, as if his brain had just done a soft reboot.

"Sam! Hey!" He said, his voice clearly hoarse. His eyes flicked around, as if he was only just realising where he was. "I um... How're you doing?" He asked, as if he could think of nothing else to say.

"Me? I asked first! You walk in here looking like a shambling zombie, fall asleep at the table in under a second and then you ask

ME

how

I

am?" Sam asked, incredulous. Her stare bore holes into him, Jayden squirming a little in his seat under her intense observation.

Sam regarded her friend up and down, trying to gauge how to tactfully approach the obvious situation he was going through. Then she noticed something else, it wasn't just how Jayden appeared, there was a smell about him that was carrying across the table, the musky smell of sweat and what she thought might be cleaning chemicals; bleach or something like it. It smelled like Jayden had just run a marathon in a heatwave that took a detour through 15 restaurant cleaning cupboards at once.

"C'mon, you know you can tell me anything man." She coaxed. Jayden glanced her in the eye for a moment, and something in his face made her worried. His eyes kept casting around, as if making sure no one was looking at him. Social anxiety was not an unusual sight for Jayden's countenance, but paranoia was.

"Jay... what's wrong?"

Jayden cleared his throat. It sounded scratchy, like it hurt.

"It's umm... It's uhhh... It's nothing..." Jayden said, shaking his head between each attempt to form the sentence. He was not the best liar, that Sam already knew, but this was on a whole other level of bad. Normally he'd try to hide whatever was wrong with some smarmy joke, or deflect his problems and focus on whatever Sam was up to. She knew all his usual tricks, and she was fine with that because he would always tell her what was wrong when he was ready to. And normally she'd still be fine in letting it slide except there was that look on his face again, as if he was suspicious of everyone around him.

She gave him one of her own looks, the look that said "You and I both know that's bullshit". She didn't want to start a verbal argument in the middle of the student cafe for the risk that Jayden might genuinely run out of the establishment.

He gulped. Or at least he tried too, seemingly not possessing enough moisture in his body to manage the saliva to accomplish that.

"Oh for god's sake" she muttered and reached into her backpack. She tossed him a fresh water bottle from inside.

"Drink that, you look like you've not had anything to drink for about a week and that you're about to pass out from dehydration." Sam thought for a second about what had happened as soon as Jayden had sat down at the table, "in fact I'm pretty sure you already did."

She watched as he gulped down the whole bottle in one long pull.

"Jesus man, you drank that like you'd just spent a week in the Sahara! Seriously man, what the fuck is going on?"

"It's umm... a little hard to explain" Jayden mumbled, just audible enough for her to hear. She saw his hands go beneath the table, adjusting himself as if he was uncomfortable being sat there.

"Jay, does this have anything to do with your coursework results?" Sam asked. She had assumed he'd just fallen into a depression spiral after his less than stellar results, but that would be easy to explain. So what could it possibly be that he'd struggle to tell her?

Jayden gazed at her, looking almost as confused as she felt.

"What? No, no it's..." He cut himself off. His face twisted in obvious consternation. She wanted to say something, but decided not to rush him.

He'll tell me in his own time

, she reminded herself. Nearly two minutes passed as Jayden stared down at the table, face screwed up in various stages of concentration. Finally, he took a deep breath, and his voice still scratchy asked her:

"Could you come back to my place? There's something I need to show you..."

Sam regretted her immediate response of "Dude, you know I have lectures this afternoon." The way his face fell felt like a stab of ice to the heart, but it had been an automatic response. "But I can make it over tonight after my lecture, I'll bring pizza and you can show me whatever it is you want to show me. I'll even let you show me a few episodes of that show you keep banging on about."

Jayden's face slackened into clear relief. "Yeah... yeah sounds good, about 7pm?"

"Yeah, might need to stop for some drinks, but some time around then sure."

Sam could see Jayden's whole figure relax. They spent the rest of her lunch hour chatting, and not long after Sam had to leave for her next lecture. She'd picked up on Jayden having to adjust himself a few times as they sat there, and as she walked past him she decided

not

to give him a reaffirming pat on the shoulder.

"And for god's sake dude, make sure you shower before I get over and put on some clean clothes. And make sure to clear up your cum rags from your room, don't want to accidentally sit on one again."

She chuckled as she sauntered out of the cafe, unaware of just how close to the mark she had gotten.

-- -- --

Jayden had to sit in silence for a few minutes. '

Should I tell her?'

was his mind's constant refrain. It rattled around his brain like a pinball, and he could swear he felt it bouncing off the inside of his skull. What if someone overheard? What if one of the waitstaff happened to pass by the table right as he blurted out "My Laptop made my cock huge". Besides he wasn't entirely sure he could bring himself to say that to Sam's face anyway, positive she wouldn't believe him. After all, who would?

But on the other hand, she did say he could tell her anything. He was still pretty sure that she didn't expect that to cover a magical computer program that let him adjust every aspect of his body like they were stats in an RPG, but he didn't have anyone else to tell and he had to tell

somebody

. It had been his first thought last night as he realised what he might have gotten his hands on. He had to stamp down the embarrassment that rose inside him as he realised that his first thought after cumming his brains out last night was to tell his best friend all about it, and desperately try not to comprehend what that said about their relationship.
