Guardian Ch. 09
The Koogar fleet consisted of two mammoth, cigar shaped cargo carriers, around 800 yards long and 300 yards in diameter. They were accompanied by five of the large sting ray shaped battle cruisers, we had encountered previously. All the Koogar vessels were the dull, mottled, dark, brownish green.
Cloaked we took a position a half mile behind the fleet, matching their speed, but did not raise Guardian's shields. I knew the capability of the Koogar armament and Guardian's taasbaas skin was more than a match for anything the Koogar could deliver. It would be like water shedding off a duck's back. Much more tactical was to remain invisible.
The battle cruisers were in an arrowhead formation. One of the battle cruisers was point with two trailing staggered on the left and right. The gigantic, slow cargo carriers, were in between the staggered lines of battle cruisers set the speed of the fleet.
A covert scan revealed the content of each vessel. The battle cruisers had the same personnel compliment and equipment, transport ships and fighters, as the previous six we had destroyed.
The cargo carrier carried, two transport troop carriers, three fighters, additional troops, many civilian workers, multiple, different types of equipment, military as well as commercial, and supplies. All that was needed to firmly dominate and colonize the entirety of Lideaux.
The scan did not provide details, just featureless forms, but every ship in the fleet displayed the signature shape, movement, color and size of the Koogar. The cargo ships were an ant hill, with literally thousands of Koogar. The scan did not identify other type of life forms on any of the ships.
Except one.
In the cavernous hold of one the cargo carriers was a broad open area, free of any cargo, surrounding a huge cube, partially filled with some sort of liquid. Centered in the pool of liquid, rose a tall, large, hollow structure. Along the bottom of one side of the cube were tubes connecting to machinery.
Inside the cube, moving through the liquid in a graceful undulating motion was a blue life form which definitely was not Koogar.
As I stared at the scan of the life form, trying to get a better idea of what I was looking at, the blue life form left the liquid and climbed onto the structure, sitting still.
*I am here. I have obeyed.*
The words, in a deep, rich, velvety tone, rang clear in my mind.
*What?!*
Once again I heard a pleading message, *Please come get me.*
I had no doubt where they originated and from whom, the enigmatic figure in the cube aboard the Koogar cargo carrier.
*Who are you?*
*Come.* was the only response.
Joy and Lucy were watching the vague blue image displayed on the large screen, transposed on the transparent wall of the Bridge.
I asked them, *Can yall hear that.*
*Hear what Master?*
*My Captain to what are you referring?*
I explained the message I was receiving and my belief in the source.
*Ideas?*
Joy shook her head and Lucy said, *The blue life form may be a prisoner from a previous world conquered by the Koogar. I have no objective opinion to the dispatch, given the lack of information. The only thing I can surmise is that it is specifically aware of you and is calling.*
I stated, standing up, *I'm going to teleport there to obtain a better grasp of the situation.*
As Joy rose from her chair I told her, *Baby I want you to stay here. What additional powers this identity may possess is unknown. Until we determine what its intent, it is wise to use caution.*
*I will stay in touch, but you won't be able to see me. The Koogar are sure to have monitored security cameras on the area, so I'll activate my invisibility.*
Joy not happy, never the less was in agreement with my assessment.
Fading from my ladies vision, I teleport to the where the cube sat in the cargo ship's hold. The cube appeared to be made of clear glass like material on all four sides plus the top and bottom. It reminded me of an aquarium.
*Joy, Lucy, can you hear me?*
Both responded in the positive.
*I too can hear you Savior.*
Standing on the structure, looking at me with piercing purple eyes was a naked female, her smooth, hairless, aquamarine skin radiant and glistening, highlighting her natural beauty.
Her large, expressive eyes, sparkling with warmth, interest and a bright, inviting smile made me feel at ease.
Tall, easily over 6 feet, her face, an angelic masterpiece of delicate beauty, with big, almond shaped, hypnotic, purple eyes, was symmetrical, with high cheekbones, a small straight nose, and full, soft, blue cupid lips, curved in a radiant smile.
Framing her lovely face was soft, natural curls of shiny black tresses which cascaded over glowing aquamarine skin of her wide shoulders, down her back and front.
Her body was a work of art, beautifully proportioned and toned, the perfect balance of fit and feminine, trim and athletic yet curvaceous in all the right places. A slender waist accentuated her gently curved hips, atop long muscled legs.
Clearly visible was a plush Mons Venus and plump pussy lips. Her large, firm breasts were capped with indigo aureole, the size of tennis balls.
Although Joy still had the advantage, this woman would come in a close second in the beauty race. She was spectacular, easily the second most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
She dove into the liquid, swimming toward me in fluid elegance, her round, shapely buttocks alluring.
Stopping, she stood on the bottom of the cube's side opposite me. She raised a hand, pressing it against the transparent barrier.
Invisible, still I copied her action.
*Savior I heard, obeyed and have been waiting for you.*
*Can you see me?*
*No, but do not have to. I sense you.*
*Who are you?*
*Enter my mind and read my thoughts. You will find the answers to your questions.*
Sensing my hesitation of the invasive of this, she assured, *Do not worry about being intrusive, I welcome it and you.*

Upon entering her mind I was amazed at what I saw and sensed of this incredibly brave, warm, kind, extraordinarily gentle spirit.
It was a different experience than any I had encountered before. Normally, the few times I have gone into someone's mind, I view everything as a neutral bystander. I see the person in the starring role as in a film of the events, places and things in which they are involved.
Not this time.
It was as if I was her, knowing, seeing and feeling through her senses, thoughts and actions. Starting with her first memories to her standing before me.
She was Oomulah, of the family Fretin, of the pod Ulleye, of the clan Dydumm, of the tribe Astobe, of the race Patunne on the world of Sigrisab.
Sigrisab was a water world, with only one land mass. The Patunne lived within small isolated family groups in Sigrisab's warm oceans. It was a primitive society, with no technology or any form of government, except the head of the family unit, usually a female. A simple, happy, serene, pacific, bucolic, vegetarian race, their sustenance, food and water, consists only of prolific sea flora.
Although of more than 70% of their time was spent in the water, woven reeds produced small floating islands on which family unit resided.
Patunne breathed oxygen but could stay under water for a long time before having to surface to resupply.
There was no written language, but a huge descriptive oral history, recounted often. One was the legend of a white skinned god, a savior, who would relieve them of oppression from horrible demons.
Oomulah's race was very long lived, 500 years or more. She was relatively young, 69 years old, and was a recognized oracle who could speak to another telepathically. This, with her ability to see the future was extremely rare, but was given validity by her race.
Once a year the clans of a specific area would gather and every four years the tribes of a specific region would come together, to share their oral histories.
At these convocations, Oomulah obtained notoriety and respect as an orator and oracle.
Years prior to the Koogar appearance, Oomulah predicted a demonic plague.
The Koogar landed and without effort subdued the primal inhabitants of the land mass. They were not successful with the Patunne as their nature and composition did not allow.
When Koogar attacked the small reed islands, the inhabitants would seek the safety of the deep water in enough time where there was little loss of life, although damage to the reed islands was often extensive. The constant Koogar harassment disrupted the Patunne's genial way of life.
Ten years ago Oomulah began to receiving visions, which became more and more vivid. She was to go to the stars to meet the Savior of her people. She did not how this was to be accomplished or why. Frightened and dismayed but strongly compelled, she obeyed.
Blindly following commands she believed to be from the Savior, she telepathically contacted the demon commander. Predicting several minor occurrences, outside the usual routine of Koogar occupation of Sigrisab, got his attention. After several portents proved accurate, the devil became excited at the idea of power to be gained through the auguries.
Oomulah assured she would be his personal harbinger if allowed passage on one of his ships. He readily agreed. She told him what she needed for survival and he had it built, installed and supplied.
When the Koogar fleet was ready to debark for Lideaux, she appeared in the open ocean for pickup by the demon leader. He placed her in the cube located in the hold of a cargo carrier.
Oomulah, drawn on her quest, by the inner voice of her God, began her long, lonesome journey to the stars.
