Author's note: Everyone in this story is obviously 18+ and you should not be reading it if you are under 18. This story is basically all about expansion and shrinking kinks which involve specific body parts growing and people overall shrinking to smaller sizes. I also added in a bit of hypnosis which I've never written before. If that doesn't sound like your thing you don't need to be here. More so than my previous stories this one contains some elements of male non-con/dub-con though it isn't like he's having a bad time. Also maybe a bit of a bad end here (though no one gets physically hurt/dies if you're worried about that). Comments and feedback are very welcome.

Synopsis: A wizard's new familiar is definitely just an imp.

When he returned to the inn the party was staying at, Albert hurried to his room, glad to see that none of his companions had returned from their own shopping excursions yet. He was a bit embarrassed at having purchased a familiar rather than something more pragmatic after the teasing he had endured earlier. The image of Cecelia laughing about him getting a 'pet' was going to be ingrained in his brain forever.

Of course, given that embarrassment he probably should have gone with something other than the curvaceous imp. As he set his pack down, he had plenty of second thoughts about his choice, wondering if he should go back and get something more practical like a bag of holding...or at least a more manageable familiar like a bird. But as soon as he took the jar containing the tiny demon from his bag and saw her twirling a finger in her short dark hair as she sat primly in the bottom of the jar, he felt that warm buzz he had experienced back at the shop once more. All thoughts of the ribbing he might endure over the choice vanished, subsumed with flashes of the adventures he might go on with his new familiar...and the romance that he hoped might bloom between them. It always happened that way in the stories he read.

Following the shopkeeper's advice, he set the imp's jar on its side on the table before he quickly sketched out a binding circle around it. Given how well behaved she had been in the jar he didn't know if the circle was really necessary, but it was better safe than sorry. He could just imagine the kind of comments Cecelia might make if he bought a familiar and she immediately escaped. For a moment he was worried the tiny demon might be offended by the circle, but she just kept on smiling that slightly crooked smile at him, one hand cupping her sharp chin as she lounged in the bottom of the jar.

After a few moments, the circle and its accompanying runes were complete and he undid the lid of the jar just before sealing the circle with his will. The imp leisurely got to her feet and sauntered languidly out of the open jar, hips swaying exaggeratedly. Once she was out in the open space of the circle she paused a moment to stretch, her arms reaching up over her head as she arched her back and curled her sinuous tail. At six inches she could never be described as tall, but her athletic legs made it seem like she might be tall for an imp. The thought made Albert feel a flash of guilt as he realized just how cramped the tiny woman must have been in the jar, though he didn't have long to dwell on it before she spread her batlike wings.

To his surprise rather than being the lilac color of her skin once she spread them he saw a dazzling array of purples, reds and blues. She made no motion to take flight, simply stretching her wings the same way she had her arms and legs, the motion making the pattern ripple in a way that drew Albert's attention. Those colors swooped and swirled inwards to a pair of violet spots, one on each wing that almost looked like a pair of eyes. Beautiful purple eyes...it seemed as though they were looking back at him...He leaned closer trying to better understand the shading that made those eyes seem so life like...

Just as his nose was about to brush against the barrier he had made, the imp abruptly folded her wings with a contented little sigh. Albert blinked as the beautiful eyespots disappeared... surprised at just how close he had gotten to examine them. With only a few inches between them his impression of her being somehow tall was reaffirmed, the high slit of her short dress showing off the 'long' stretch of her leg as she cocked her hip to the side. She arched a brow at him, violet eyes full of humor as she asked in a surprisingly husky voice, "Well?"

The wizard was taken aback, feeling his cheeks turn hot as he realized he had been up close and staring at the tiny woman without even introducing himself. He abruptly leaned away trying to adopt a more dignified pose as he struggled to come up with an answer to her question. "I uh...well...I'm Albert...I'm a wizard..."

The imp giggled as he tried to stammer out an answer, walking gracefully along the edge of the warding circle he had drawn as his voice trailed off. "It's a pleasure to meet you Albert the wizard..." Her tone was still low...and almost

flirty

. Though perhaps that was just his wishful thinking. Even if it was, there was

something

about the way she said his name that sent a chill down his spine. Almost as if she were tasting it.

Albert waited for her to continue, but she only resumed her pacing around the edge of the circle. After a moment he cleared his throat, causing her to glance at him over her shoulder. "You didn't mention your name?"

She giggled again, never stopping her pacing. "Oh silly me...well I suppose if I can call you Albert the wizard you can call me...Miranda." After she spoke, she was silent for a few more moments as she completed her circuit of the circle, her fingers trailing in the air beside her and sending up little golden ripples wherever they made contact with the magic of the ward. When she finally stood in front of him again, she looked up at him, violet eyes appraising. "Well, what are we doing here Albert the wizard?"

His throat bobbed nervously when she posed the question and he realized he had absolutely no idea how one asked a spirit to serve as a familiar. "W-well...I'm a wizard..."

"Yes you mentioned."

He felt his cheeks flush at the interjection, embarrassed but also somewhat elated to see she was smiling as she said it. After a quick swallow he continued. "Well as a wizard...I um need...well you're an imp..." As flustered as he was, he was having trouble articulating the proposition exactly, but she seemed to be nodding along. Though some expression he couldn't quite place flickered across Miranda's face as he said the word 'imp'. He tried to fight through the anxious spike that he had offended her and continued talking, though the sudden burst of nerves didn't help his babbling. "Well wizards sometimes make agreements with...um creatures such as yourself...to well work together...and um exchange...magic...I guess I was hoping that we could...or maybe you would be my-"

Miranda laughed musically once more, cutting him off. "Ah I see! You don't want me to call you Albert the wizard...you want me to call you

Master

."

There was

definitely

something flirty about the way she emphasized 'Master', the word slipping like silk through his mind in that low sultry voice of hers. It conjured images of soft sighs and quiet moans as she whispered it in deep pleasure. His ears felt hot and all he managed to say was a very croaky 'yes', which elicited another one of those charming giggles from her.

"Well don't get too excited now...I haven't agreed to any pacts yet," she said, the tip of her long nose wiggling as she flashed a teasing half-smile. "Speaking of what are the terms of familiarhood you're proposing?"

For a moment Albert just stared at her blankly before a new bout of nerves descended on him. "I-I don't...umm terms of familiarhood?"

"Have you done this before?" she asked, tailing curling upwards in unison with her teasing smile.

That question cut to the quick and Albert found himself sheepishly rubbing his short dark hair as he studiously looked anywhere but the grinning imp. "I uh have not done this before actually..." As he spoke his eyes darted nervously back towards her.

"Oh don't worry Albert the wizard it isn't at all obvious..." She grinned once more as she said it, violet eyes flashing mischievously. "Awfully brave of you to make a deal with a suc - ahem to think of dealing with an

imp

on your first try," Miranda whispered, though her teasing tone faltered at her cough, a nervous look flashing ever so briefly across her face. Albert's brow knit in confusion as he tried to parse the odd statement. Even as a relatively inexperienced professional wizard he knew that imps weren't dangerous. Perhaps she meant imps' penchant for mischief? Before he could follow up on what she said, the sly smile had crept back onto her face as she spoke again, "You know...if this is your first time I think that makes you a virgin, doesn't it Albert the wizard?"

Albert coughed at the question before immediately babbling out a denial. "I'm not a vir - I mean umm I guess you could say that about familiars...but I'm not I-I've done...things." It was true he had done

some

things of a sexual nature with women, but the strength of his protestation combined with the blush he still hadn't fully mastered belied any claims of extensive experience he might have.

Miranda flashed him a triumphant smile as he tried to argue against her insinuation, which only made his desire to refute her claim stronger, but she shut him down with a gentle shush. "It's ok there's no shame in being...let's call you a familiar virgin. Every wizard has to start somewhere. I would be happy to show you the ropes. Would you like that, Albert the wizard?" Despite the tender tone of her words, her eyes still had that mischievous twinkle. Almost like they were glowing with an inner light...The effect was quite pretty, reminding him of the swirling shades of purple surrounding the eyespots on her wings. "Would you like me to walk you through making pact with me?"

"Y-yes," he murmured as he nodded slowly, staring at her once again.

"Wonderful! You're going to have me calling you Master in no time then," she purred wickedly as he flushed brighter. "Well, how about we start with a simple promise. I won't do anything to cause you physical injury or death. Seems like a good idea?"

"Yes, that seems good," Albert mumbled, though his dark brows furrowed a bit as he tried to puzzle about how the tiny imp might harm him. He thought about following up but decided it would probably be rude to express such doubts over the imp's prowess even if the idea of such a tiny creature harming him seemed ridiculous.

"Perfect, I so promise. Since I've made my promise will you release me from your wards?"

As she waited for his answer, she cocked her hip to the side gently tapping her bare foot in time with the swishing of her tail. Albert swallowed nervously, the imp's posture suggesting he was boring her by keeping her waiting on her freedom. He moved to release the seal of his ward, but when he leaned in closer he caught a tricksy twinkle in her eyes almost hidden by the impatient act. "Wait a minute...you didn't promise to be my familiar...just not to harm me."

"Aren't you a clever wizard?" Her tone of voice was sharp, but she made no attempt to mask her grin and her eyes were alight with mischief, almost as if she were overflowing with trickery. Which he supposed she was considering that she was an imp. "Are you sure you haven't done this before?"

"No, I really haven't had a familiar before...but I have read a bit about demons..." he said sheepishly, running his fingers through his short hair as the not-quite-compliment left his ears burning.

"Well, you must be

very clever

to have seen through it." That burning sensation was quickly spreading across Albert's face as she transitioned to full compliments. "But since you're such a clever wizard, I shouldn't have to help you with the next promise, should I?" The goofy little grin he had been wearing gave way to a look of panicked nerves at the prompt, especially when he caught the wicked half-smile she was wearing. "Well...what'll it be Albert the

clever

wizard?"

Albert swallowed nervously, wracking his brain for what the next promise should be. The way Miranda was looking at him didn't help at all, the imp's posture unchanged but combined with her eager smile the languid swishing of her tail was taking on a whole new meaning. She reminded him quite distinctly of a cat toying with its food, and for a brief moment it didn't seem quite so ridiculous for such a tiny creature to promise not to harm him. After several moments of stammering and staring, he was still at a loss for anything particularly

clever

so he simply said the first thing that came to mind. "Umm obedience?"

Miranda tsked almost immediately, her grin scrunching into a look of mild distaste. "Oh obedience is sooo...

boring

don't you think? You don't want someone who just does whatever you say do you? Wouldn't you rather have a bit of give and take...a bit of

surprise

?"

The wizard's heart fell. Partly that was from her reaction. She hadn't said

he

was boring...but it wasn't such a leap to think her thoughts were trending that way. But equally importantly, he realized she was right. A perfectly obedient familiar sounded so stuffy. The fantasy he'd been concocting ever since he saw her in the bottle wasn't of forcing some tiny demon to do whatever he wanted. What he had in mind was far more...conversational. There should be give and take...perhaps a bit of flirty banter as they argued over the best course of action. And despite all his blushing, he certainly wouldn't say he minded the way she had surprised him so far, and the suggestive quirk of her eyebrows hinted at other surprises he wouldn't find objectionable. "Perhaps something a little less strict then..."

The imp gave him a wide delightful smile, her eyes twinkling at him. He was once again struck by just how pretty they were. How pretty she was really. "See I knew you were a

clever

wizard. We can have so much more fun if I'm not always looking to you for direction." Albert nodded along as she spoke, happily humming at her continued insistence on how clever he was, his eyes dreamy as they swept across her lovely features. Seeing his nod she continued her pitch, "Perhaps I could promise...to always act in your best interest as I see it. Does that sound fair?"

Though he was thoroughly distracted by images of the tiny imp sitting on his shoulder and whispering how clever he was in his ear, Albert knew he should actually try to think through what she was offering. Though surely if there were any loophole it was more of a test for him than any actual treachery on her part. She was so friendly she couldn't possibly mean him ill. "Hmmm...well how do I know that you don't have some weird idea of what my best interest is?" he asked, hoping he had found the trick if there was one.

She let out an indignant huff at the comment, but Albert could see it was for show. "Albert! How could you think I would do something like that?" she gasped dramatically, one hand flying to her chest. The motion brought Albert's gaze downward from admiring her full lips to noticing just how...well-proportioned she was. If she had been human sized...well that would have been something to see, but even at her tiny size her breasts were notable. He felt his flush get a bit worse as he realized he was staring once more, but she didn't seem to mind, continuing her faux dramatic dialogue. "I promise I'm only trying to give you what you want...to fulfill your

desires

!"

As she spoke, she spread her wings wide for effect, and Albert was once more taken with those eyespots of hers. They really were just like her eyes, such a bright beautiful violet, every subtle movement of her wings making them look like she was staring at him...appraising him. He was so caught up in gazing at her wings that when she asked him a question he didn't even register it until she folded her wings back. "Umm..." he offered as he tried to reconstruct whatever she had said.

She bit her lip as she smiled at him, bouncing a bit on the balls of her feet. When she spoke, it was with a gently mocking tone. "I said, 'Is that enough of a promise for you?'"

Albert wasn't exactly sure what the promise had been at this point, something about fulfilling his desires. That seemed reasonable enough and it would be pretty embarrassing to admit he had gotten too distracted admiring her to remember the details during a familiar negotiation. "Y-yes that sounds fine," he murmured, trying to sound more confident in that then he was.

"Wonderful. Why don't you let me out then

Master

," she purred as she looked up at him expectantly.

He swallowed nervously, eyes going back and forth from her to the stark line of the sealed circle he had drawn on the table. There was nothing bored in her demeanor this time, instead she leaned forward expectantly, her figure seemingly poised for action. As his hand moved toward the circle, he wracked his brain wondering if there was anything he had missed. His stomach full of butterflies, nervous at the idea that he had missed something and was about to flit off out the window. But she was being so nice and friendly he couldn't imagine she would really do that...though that just created a different kind of nerves as he considered those surprises she had hinted at before.

With a quick swipe of his finger the circle broke.

Miranda's laughter broke the silence that followed. "You don't need to look so scared Master. I promised not to hurt you..." It was only once she spoke that Albert realized he had been wearing an extremely anxious grimace. Her laughter turned it into a decidedly more sheepish expression, complete with that seemingly unending blush of his. "That's better. Now that I'm your familiar...perhaps you'd like to get a little more familiar with me," she mused in a somehow even huskier voice.

Albert swallowed nervously, completely flustered as he moved from embarrassment at his frightened reaction about freeing her to giddy nerves at the suggestive tone she took. "W-what did you have in mind?" His voice came out a croak as she started to saunter across the table to where his hand was resting, her tiny hands finding his thumb.

"Well...I thought you might like to touch me." She lifted his index finger so that the pad of it was pressed against her cheek, her lilac colored skin incredibly soft as she nuzzled against him. "I can feel you trembling Master. Do I frighten you that much?" She giggled as she looked up at his blush, her hands guiding his thumb to stroke against her silky black hair.

The wizard tried as hard as he could to stop the tremor in his hand but the sudden contact from the tiny woman had his nerves all a jumble. "N-no you...just surprised me that's all." He tried to say it with as much confidence as he could, but the truth was he was now even more nervous than when he thought she was going to attack him. His finger was really only stroking her face and mussing her short bob, all relatively chaste, but there was still something deeply sensual about the touch of her tiny hands as she guided him. As she let him brush over her pointed ear and along her neck to rest on her shoulder, he could feel his heart hammering in his chest as he struggled to decide if as the Master he was supposed to take the initiative in the interaction. It was a moot point of course, his nerves had him paralyzed, and so those thoughts only served to further fluster him.
