In the blackness that enveloped me; I began to wonder, "Am I alive or dead? If I was dead, was this my punishment, to be stuck here in Fucking limbo?"

Meanwhile, across the city, Maggie and Layla came running into the office where Melissa was looking over a map.

"We've found him!" Maggie said to her.

Melissa stood up quickly and began to cry. "Is he okay? Where is he, and how did you find him?"

"We don't know how he is, just where he is. The drones could only get so close before they started to have problems. Freya and Eira were a big help finding his location."

"How so?" Melissa asked.

"As you know, they had the memories of the location removed. So, we went a different route, we had them remember things, like places where they ate, parks they played at, or where they went shopping." Maggie explained.

"And?" Melissa asked impatiently.

"They could remember those places and we were able to narrow it down to a single location." Maggie said excitedly.

"Where?" Melissa asked just as excitedly.

"Over by Yarra Bay Beach, it's an industrial complex that is really close to the beach. Eira and Freya remember going to that beach a lot as kids." Maggie told Melissa.

"Get all of the Maidens ready, we have to get him back!" Melissa commanded Maggie.

"The Maidens from the States are already on their way here." Maggie informed Melissa.

Back in the blackness I was pondering my current existence and wondering.

"How long have I been here? One second, minute, hour, day, month, year? At least let me go back to the dreams."

At the same time the Maidens from the States had arrived and were now preparing to rescue me. Melissa and Charu were going over the plan and had decided that there would be three teams of one hundred-seventy-three Maidens per team. With Chastity back in the States with the mothers and babies, the numbers were perfect. Melissa would lead the first team and hopefully, take out any defenses or obstacles on the south side of the complex.

Team two would be led by Maggie, they would come in from the north side and take care of the defenses and obstacles there. Team three, would be led by Charu, they were to the extraction team and get James out, while the other two teams protected them on the way in and out of the complex. The Maidens decided to come in from the beach, so they boarded Midnight Sky and made their way to Yarra Bay.

Once they were at the beach Maggie made her way to the north side of the complex. The electromagnetic fields were going to be a very big problem for the teams and Melissa knew it. They didn't want to do anything that would put Me in further danger, so they were very limited in what weapons they could use. Melissa walked into an open field, and to the east of the complex, she could see a power substation that looked like it ran the complex.

Melissa went back to the beach and stood there for a few minutes. Charu looked over and saw Melissa standing there, so she walked over and asked her, "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, it's all good. I'm just taking care of something." Melissa said.

"Anything I can do to help?" Charu asked her.

"Tell him that I love him, and I will see him later," she told her, as she gave Charu her necklace and ring.

"What do you mean? You'll see him later." Charu said.

Melissa ran out of sight before Charu finished asking her question. Over the radio Melissa told everyone to be ready to go on her signal.

"What's the signal?" she was asked.

"You'll know it when it happens, just be ready." Melissa told her.

Liv got dressed and then she went to find some clothes for me.

"Gpop, who is she?" I asked.

"She's your grandmother," he informed me.

"What?" I asked, shocked at what he said.

"She's your grandmother, and I thought I would never see her again." He told me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know. I thought she was Melissa with red hair and green eyes, I really did." I told him.

"It's okay, we'll figure something out when you two are safe." He told me.

Liv came back with some shorts and a T-shirt for me to wear. Once I was dressed, we made our way out of the room. And Liv said, "We needed to help free the others that were trapped here." We checked all the rooms in the area that I was being kept in, but didn't find anyone. As we entered a new area of the complex, I heard my name being called, I turned around to see Charu running at a full sprint towards me.

Charu jumped and crashed into my chest, wrapping her legs around me, and kissing me.

"I love you, Beautiful, but we need to get moving," I told her.

"This way," she said as she kissed me again. We made our way out of the building towards an open field, and to a beach, where I asked where Melissa was. After meeting up with my Maidens we went to go find Melissa. Charu led us in the direction Melissa had gone. When we got around some tall brush, I could see a power substation that had some smoke and sparks coming from it.

I began to run faster towards the substation, and as I got closer, I could see what looked like a body on the ground in front of a big, grey box that had a lot of sparks and smoke coming from it.

"Dear God, No, please don't let it be her," I thought to myself.

When I got through the fence, I could see that it was her on the ground. I went over to her and fell to my knees. I looked into her eyes, the ones that had stolen my heart and soul. Now they were cloudy, and you could barely see the blue. All my Maidens were now crying along with me, as I told the nanites to revive her.

"We are sorry, but that is no longer a viable option," the nanites replied.

TJ, Molly, and Tabi all screamed in sorrow when they heard the nanites. I leaned down and kissed her face one last time. The rage that was flowing through me was immense and consuming. I stood and let out a primal scream of my own, which triggered all the Maidens to do the same. Our screams caused the nanites to shoot from our bodies in a shockwave that didn't leave a trace of any building in the complex whatsoever.

In the middle of what was the complex were two pillars with Erik shackled to them by his arms and legs. I picked up Melissa and carried her back to the beach and the other Maidens followed me. I walked over to Erik after I had place Melissa on the beach.

"People I love are dead because of you and I know about your clones," I told him.

He began to laugh, up until I placed my thumbs over his eyes and began to push into them. His screams were exquisite and welcomed by me. I continued to push my thumbs into his eye sockets until both his eyes popped. My nanites were in control of his body now and wouldn't let him pass out.

"Close, but first I have something to give you, a present of sorts." I told him.

"Yeah, what's that?" he asked.

"Well, first, I'm going to have my nanites remove all your skin, down to the nerve endings, so the slightest breeze, or touch, causes excruciating pain. They will amplify all your pain receptors for the maximum amount of pain. Then, they're going to remove all memories from you, except for the ones that cause you pain, and they will be amplified as well. The only other sense you'll have, besides the sense of pain is your hearing, so you can hear yourself scream." I explained to him.

I walked behind him and said, "You might like this, it's something the Vikings did a lot. You won't be able to pass out, so I know you'll enjoy this as much as I will."

The nanites made the fingernail on my right index finger as sharp as a rusty knife. I cut from his lower neck to his butt crack. His screams put a smile on my face.

"See, I knew you would enjoy this as much as I do. Seeing how you like shit that has to do with the Vikings." I said to him.

My next cuts were from armpit to armpit, and then from hip to hip. As I filleted meat from bone I continued to talk to Erik, "My dad, my mom, my grandfather, and Melissa are all dead because of you. The nanites began to build a craft to encapsulate him.

"When the nanites are done they're going to launch you to the sun where you will be placed just inside the Carona, to where you will stay, unable to die, until the nanites decide to self-destruct, or until eternity ends. I didn't know what was real or what wasn't when you had me in that room, you, on the other hand, will know this is one hundred percent real."

I started to walk back to the beach, about halfway there I heard the nanite craft launch. I turned just in time to see it disappear out of sight. When I got to the beach, I picked up Melissa and carried her to the boat that would take us to Midnight Sky. When we got to the boat, we went back to the dock, then to the airport, and took the A-380s back home, so I could bury Melissa.

I had a lot of questions that needed answering, but I held off until we were in the air and on the way home. My first question to Charu was, "How long was I in that place?"

"Eighteen months and two weeks," she told me.

"They're fine, they were all born on your birthday, as healthy as they could be." she told me.

"Boys, girls?" I asked.

"All six are little girls," she told me.

"So, Deborah did have triplets after all?" I asked with a smile.

"Yes, she did." Charu said with a smile as well.

"Where's Chastity?" I asked.

"She's with the mommies and babies." Charu informed me.

"Why?" I asked.

"She only wanted you to claim her and you, alone." she told me.

I told Charu, "I woke up feeling very aggressive and possessive, and needed to lock all of you to me. And that it was the only way I felt I could keep all of you safe." She didn't question me; she just nodded and touched my cheeks tenderly. I was very tired, so I told my ladies I was going to go lay down and get some rest. All my ladies opted to join me, including Liv. We got in our spots once we got in bed, Liv took Melissa's. Casey was a welcome feeling to me having her back in her spot. I think we all cried ourselves to sleep.

The one thing I never thought I would wish for was to be back in the blackness. If I was in the blackness, Melissa was still alive, and I could deal with that, so I was praying for it. I would stay in the blackness forever if it meant she was alive, but that was not to be though. The dreams I did have were of her, and I was fighting to wake up from them. She told me, "I love you, and you will see me again."

I screamed her name in my sleep, which woke everyone up. I apologized to everyone, got out of bed, and walked out of the room. I was thankful to be with them again, but the loss of Melissa cut me to my soul.

Liv came and sat in my lap, and asked me, "So, you're my grandson?"

"I really thought you were Melissa, with red hair. I didn't even know if you were real, or a dream, really." I explained.

"I know, Erik kept you that way for a reason." she told me.

"What reason was that?" I asked.

"He wanted you to get me pregnant." She said matter-of-factly.

"What? Why?" I asked a little confused.

"He wanted to get the fertilized embryo and make himself a super soldier body. The clones he made of himself are just as frail as he is." she explained.

"No new body for him now, and I will take care of the clones too." I told her.

"No new body for him, and I know you will take care of them. That, however, is a task for another time. The reason I came over is to tell you that I understand your hurt. Just today I found out my husband was dead, my daughter got married, her husband was murdered, she had a baby and was killed herself. All because of the man who had kidnapped me and held me prisoner for twenty-plus years." she told me.

"That is a lot to have to digest all at once." I said to her.

"I also found out that the man that I was having sex with for over a year, is my grandson, who bound me to him, made me his forever, and put his child inside me. That part isn't so bad." She said smiling coyly.

"I am truly sorry about all of that, I really am." I told her.

"We are about to land." Liv informed me.

Charu informed me, "A lot of things have been done to the manor while you were being held captive by Erik. There is now a full-sized runway that can handle any of our aircraft, and the sub-pen has been totally completed."

"Having a large, nearly invisible, plane has its perks," I thought to myself as we landed. We got off the plane and were met by Deborah, Cece, Margeret, Joni, Martha, and my daughters.
