"As you know, they had the memories of the location removed. So, we went a different route, we had them remember things, like places where they ate, parks they played at, or where they went shopping." Maggie explained.

"And?" Melissa asked impatiently.

"They could remember those places and we were able to narrow it down to a single location." Maggie said excitedly.

"Where?" Melissa asked just as excitedly.

"Over by Yarra Bay Beach, it's an industrial complex that is really close to the beach. Eira and Freya remember going to that beach a lot as kids." Maggie told Melissa.

"Get all of the Maidens ready, we have to get him back!" Melissa commanded Maggie.

"The Maidens from the States are already on their way here." Maggie informed Melissa.

Back in the blackness I was pondering my current existence and wondering.

"How long have I been here? One second, minute, hour, day, month, year? At least let me go back to the dreams."

At the same time the Maidens from the States had arrived and were now preparing to rescue me. Melissa and Charu were going over the plan and had decided that there would be three teams of one hundred-seventy-three Maidens per team. With Chastity back in the States with the mothers and babies, the numbers were perfect. Melissa would lead the first team and hopefully, take out any defenses or obstacles on the south side of the complex.

Team two would be led by Maggie, they would come in from the north side and take care of the defenses and obstacles there. Team three, would be led by Charu, they were to the extraction team and get James out, while the other two teams protected them on the way in and out of the complex. The Maidens decided to come in from the beach, so they boarded Midnight Sky and made their way to Yarra Bay.

Once they were at the beach Maggie made her way to the north side of the complex. The electromagnetic fields were going to be a very big problem for the teams and Melissa knew it. They didn't want to do anything that would put Me in further danger, so they were very limited in what weapons they could use. Melissa walked into an open field, and to the east of the complex, she could see a power substation that looked like it ran the complex.

Melissa went back to the beach and stood there for a few minutes. Charu looked over and saw Melissa standing there, so she walked over and asked her, "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, it's all good. I'm just taking care of something." Melissa said.

"Anything I can do to help?" Charu asked her.

"Tell him that I love him, and I will see him later," she told her, as she gave Charu her necklace and ring.

"What do you mean? You'll see him later." Charu said.

Melissa ran out of sight before Charu finished asking her question. Over the radio Melissa told everyone to be ready to go on her signal.

"What's the signal?" she was asked.

"You'll know it when it happens, just be ready." Melissa told her.

"It's okay, we'll figure something out when you two are safe." He told me.

Liv came back with some shorts and a T-shirt for me to wear. Once I was dressed, we made our way out of the room. And Liv said, "We needed to help free the others that were trapped here." We checked all the rooms in the area that I was being kept in, but didn't find anyone. As we entered a new area of the complex, I heard my name being called, I turned around to see Charu running at a full sprint towards me.

"This way," she said as she kissed me again. We made our way out of the building towards an open field, and to a beach, where I asked where Melissa was. After meeting up with my Maidens we went to go find Melissa. Charu led us in the direction Melissa had gone. When we got around some tall brush, I could see a power substation that had some smoke and sparks coming from it.

I began to run faster towards the substation, and as I got closer, I could see what looked like a body on the ground in front of a big, grey box that had a lot of sparks and smoke coming from it.

"We are sorry, but that is no longer a viable option," the nanites replied.

I walked behind him and said, "You might like this, it's something the Vikings did a lot. You won't be able to pass out, so I know you'll enjoy this as much as I will."

I started to walk back to the beach, about halfway there I heard the nanite craft launch. I turned just in time to see it disappear out of sight. "No new body for him, and I know you will take care of them. That, however, is a task for another time. The reason I came over is to tell you that I understand your hurt.
